I have been experiencing an itching/tingling sensation in the head of my penis. It feels more like an urge to urinate though. I have also been experiencing pain in my testicles. I also have noticed that when passing a bowel movement, sometimes when i force it out, semen comes out of my penis.
I am sexually active, and my gf had a yeast infection not too long ago. Could this have possibly gotten transferred to me?
I am curious as to what this may be. I do not believe it to be an STD.

I'm afraid that I did not do my homework and ask my doctor about this. But, I remember clearly that when he put me on it for some anxiety that he said there was no problem getting off of it. The nature of the pains makes it difficult to describe because they sound bizarre and are not always in the same place.
On a friends advice, in mid June I tapered my dose of Lexapro to 1 tablet every other day and did that for two weeks.
I am starting to have low back pain and peeing every 30 minutes. I went to the doctor and they found blood in my urine. So they sent me to do a cat scan to see if I had a kidney stone. Still waiting to see if it comes back with an infection. Anyway i went to the pharmacist to ask them what antibiotics I should take with all my meds. She said something that scared me.
one night I had a chocolate ice-cream and as I was eating it all I could taste was metal, 5 seconds later I started vomiting nonstop. I got severe pain on my left side and felt like it was the worst pain of my entire life. I was rushed to hospital. They did blood tests and found a white cell count of 21. My kidney function was below 60.
* for a month after discharge my symptoms got worse, antibiotics did not help. I got high fevers, my blood pressure was measured at the doc to be 160 on top.
Docs, Most of these tests were done before. A cat scan showed some kidney stones but no pain so far. The discharge is mostly at night and is a yellow hardening substance similiar to like semen. I haven't been with anyone in a long, long time. No pain when urinating but a slight discomfort. Hardly no discharge during the day.
The dizzy sensations were more pronounced, and I had a pain in my side that I was afraid might be the beginning of a kidney stone pain. Then I noticed that it hurt worse when I took a deep breath and so thought it might just be a pulled muscle (I do have 3 kids that like to be held). The pain kinda spread around my whole midsection: abdomin and ribs. When I got home, I felt very flu-ish again and had a low grade fever around 100.
So I know it's normal to gain some water weight during that time of the month -- however, I've been retaining a lot of fluid for over a week now. I can't even come close to getting any of my pants on and my socks are making dents in my ankles. My period has been really light and seems to have ended today after 5-6 days. Actually, I've been spotting a bit since the first of the month. The last couple days I've weighed 6-7 pounds more than normal.
Since April of 2009, I have been having strange urinary problems. For about 3 weeks, I had increased urinary frequency and urgency, as well as painful urination. This seemed to come with thirst and dry mouth.

I was on Lexapro for a little over a year. I was only taking 5mg a day. Since I lost my health insurance I slowing got off taking the medication because I couldn't afford it. It's been about two weeks since I took my last pill and I'm feeling odd. Having strange symptoms. I'm very mean at times and the newest thing happened two days ago, I get this strange pain that goes from one temple up to the top of my head and over to my other temple. It last maybe 5 seconds.
All urine cultures have been negative. My kidney function is normal. Cystoscopy showed no anatomical abnormalities. I have not been given a 24hr urine test.
Although my kidney function is normal, I am concerned because I feel that my urine looks more concentrated/yellow than it used to. I stay hydrated, drinking plenty of water.
My urologist is more concerned about prostate health, although I am young (24) and have never been sexually active.
m wondering if my doctor could prescribe something to help with my overactive bladder so I could keep taking the Lexapro or if I should just take something else instead. Lexapro is good in ways because it produces fewer side effects than any other SSRI med that I've tried and I've tried many of them.
Why do you consider a kidney problem at this point? Kidney disease may present with altered mentation but only in its severe forms . Let’s start with your thyroid function test. Also, try to share your concerns with family and friends. You need to vent out your feelings and worries as this may also provide relief. In fact, this is therapy in itself.

I am a 34-year-old female with a 15 year history of calcium oxalate kidney stones. I have passed at least 15, and according to a recent CT scan, I have at least 7 more (several in each kidney). For several years I have been fatigued and have had sleep issues, which I attributed to having children who didn't sleep through the night. I realized that sleep was an issue when they began sleeping through and I could not make it more than 4-5 hours.
If your stomach pain continues you should contact your doctor. Tell him or her that you are having stomach pain and nausea. Nausea and stomach pain are common side effect of Lexapro, if it continues then Lexapro is not right for you. You should have received package insert or paper from your pharmacy with your meds that tell you how to use the medicine, cautions, description of the drug. Side effects are list under cautions.
Due to my back pain I have become depressed, a friend suggested selexa. I use to take Lexapro, what is the difference?
Who I saw 17 yrs ago and he suggested we switch to lexapro so I did the crossover and the next night felt horrible. I called him crying he said u are having discontinuation symptoms. I then told him I want to go back on the paxil and up it because I was not on enough and I can't take this. So he told me ok. Went back on it and the next day felt a little better. Then as the week went by started getting bad again.
First I was diagnosed with a kidney infection now they said my kidney was a bit swollen. They told me to take Tylenol for the pain. I told my Dr. that it's killing my stomach. I asked can I take Aleve she said I can switch back and fourth to Tylenol to Aleve. When I went to ER I was told you never take Aleve while pregnant. I've tried home remedies, hot pack and cold pack and nothing is helping the pain. I need more sleep but I'm so uncomfortable.
