684726 tn?1228485621 The Vitamins made me very jittery and anxious and I even stopped the L-tyrosine and just took One vitamin b suppliment and the same result. So I stopped the vitamins for now and no jitters or anxiety. I still have Sam-e at my home which is supposed to be a mood booster. What exactly IS this stuff? And what is L-THEANINE, I heard it works wonders. I DO have energy and motivation, But its not where I want it to be. Or should I just chill out and not take anything??? Is it even worth it to do it?
Avatar f tn I have been on Effexor 75 mg. for a couple of months and still get the jitters, especially upon awakening and afternoon. Should med be upped or try something different. I started tapering down and things were fine so I reinstated 75 mg. Jitters are back. Do I need more med for residual anxiety or a different med?
Avatar f tn I took 1 10mg lexapro this past Tuesday at 8am. By later that day I was having the worst anxiety that I have ever had in my life. Wednesday morning was no better felt like I was having a total break down. I of course did not take another pill since Tuesday, but the anxiety and panic attacks are still there wont go away. It is interfering with my normal everyday life.
Avatar m tn The Nuvigil I take for apnea has been helpful in keeping me alert, but its a losing battle while taking Lexapro. My doctor suggested cutting the Lexapro in half, from 10mg to 5. I did this, starting 2 days ago. I already have more energy but I have no idea if my depression or anxiety will return and if so how strongly. Does anyone know if Nuvigil and Seroquel will be a good combination?
Avatar n tn I been on Paxil and kolonopin for the past month and a half and so far so good. Zoloft always made me feel numb and I didnt like the side effects. The even put me on buspore and that really didn't work for me. It made my panic attacks worse. Lexapro was a bust also but now the meds I'm. Taking make me feel great and I can still function through the day. Prayer helps to because no matter how many pills the doctor can put you on only God can make you and take you through anything.
Avatar m tn it was said 5-years ago i had depression and panic attacks, ive been on paxil, effexxor, lexapro, cymbalta, triptolines, all of the new ones and some old, now ive been switched to prozac 20mg. can anyone tell me anything good about prozac?
Avatar f tn I went to the doctor today for a follow up on how I was doing with the Lexapro that I started on Monday. I told her that I take the Lexapro at night because it makes me tired. I told her that I had been experiencing the nausea, dizzy, but most of that is gone now, but I'm still having anxiety a little more frequently and I'm still not having an appetite. My anxiety was always bad in the mornings, that has not changed, but I'm noticing it more all through out the day.
Avatar f tn t stabilizing he told me to immediately switch to Lexapro 20mg, took it after about an hour I felt severe jitters and nausea, I felt like I'd had 10 cups of coffee and vomited..and had stomach and liver pain.. I reduced my dose later on but still had terrible anxiety worse in the morning with doom feelings and panic attacks were up through the roof, I felt suicidal and was at the end of my rope with the physical and mental side effects.
Avatar f tn i have jitters in my stomach and cant stand to be closed up in a room or alone and my breathing is heavy what do i do?
Avatar f tn m doing ok but am getting brain zaps and jitters. It kind of freaks me out a bit and then I worry that my anxiety is coming back (although I'm pretty sure it's just the side effects of reduced dose). Has anyone out there had successful tapering off? How long did your symptoms last?
Avatar f tn Beth, You're doing great. Even with a taper you still have the anxiety and mood swings. Honestly, I started taking Lexapro a week or so before I started. I'll stop in a few weeks. I took it before for short term anxiety and depression and it worked well for me.
Avatar f tn Hi, I have been having problems with acid reflux(severe) and tension headaches (over ten years) my doctor figured it to be caused by anxiety, I had panic attacks but could deal with them. He put me on Lexapro 5mg and by the second dose had insomnia, panic attacks, rapid heart beat, so he lowered my dose to 2.5mg that was fine for 10 days and all of the sudden it was like the first few days but worse because I also couldn't eat, I went off of it.
499178 tn?1210003841 I dont want to become depenent on Xanax, I have the tremors (which Lexapro made worse and I understand so does Paxil) Any suggestions? This is a ***** of a problem!!!
Avatar f tn ve taken this, does this go away? Is this normal? How long until I start to CALM down instead of get the jitters? I am also taking lorazepam but have been taking it for 5 years as needed, and I feel like its not working as well anymore. I feel literally like running around and jumping out of my skin and it doens't feel good. My doctor told me that sometimes you feel worse when you start a medication before it feels better. Have you experienced that? Please let me know.

Avatar m tn I have been taking ultram/vicodin for the past 6 years. I started on vicodin (up to 6 10/325 a day but only about 4 a day average, then after 3 years switched to ultram rather the generic version which I took no more than 4 a day (average 3) for 4 years. I quit cold turkey 5 days ago and withdraw symptoms (cold sweats, uncontrollable temperature variations (too cold/too hot, can't regulate) were actually extremely mild, but the jitters, they are persistent.
Avatar f tn Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum - I've been on Zoloft for 5 weeks, slowly increased my dosage to 100mg, been on 100mg for 2 weeks and I've been experiencing the 'coffee jitters' for the past week. I know as soon as the jitters and shake go away I'll be cured from this terrible anxiety! My question is: did anyone else have the jitters and shakes, if so, when will it go away?
Avatar n tn She game me naxonex instead for swollen tissues in my nose. She also gave me an rx for Lexapro and Klonapin. That was Monday. I decided to try to wait this out before going on the Lexapro because I REALLY do not want to be on it. Monday I was OK. I took a Xanax before bed and slept ok. Yesterday I felt kinda funny while out shopping but kind ignored it.I had taken my first dose of Nasonex in the morning and had a headache tho.
Avatar m tn I've searched the web and here and no really good answer. I'm taking a Sonata about 3 or 4 oclock in the morning. It does cause some jitters next day. Now I've started Sam-e and a Super Beta Complex and the Jitters are unbearable. I take some Xanax and it helps some. I can't take much and still function. The question is ... Is it the Sam-e or the Super B Complex causing the extreme jitters or anxiety?
11388046 tn?1418563221 Hi there! The short answer: " Is it normal to experience side effects again after you increase your dose? Is it normal for them to feel worse?" Yes, this is actually pretty typical. It's normal to experience an increase in those initial "start up" side effects again, both when restarting the medication, and when increasing the dose.
1325193 tn?1450127436 Congrats on your 7 days today at 2 pm LOL!!! That's progress for sure! Since this isn't your first rodeo ride, you probably already know that no 2 w/drawals are ever the same. So, no one can really tell you since you only used for 2 weeks if this time will be different or how fast you will bounce back, ya know? But your other two questions...... some much needed encouragement for you....NO it won't last forever......and YES you will return to feeling better....
