Avatar n tn year ago (Mar 1 2010) that happened with me. i took some shrooms and few days later i was in hospital with multiple demyelination in the brain. the doctors are unsure whether it is a ms but it is still there (you can contact me via ********* at *****.com if you have any qs).
Avatar f tn Everybody is acting like she is sitto g there pregnant doing shrooms she didn't know so why beat the girl up over it somebody commented having CPS take away the baby would he a good thing that's just mean people on this site act like they walk on water and have never made bad choices
Avatar f tn I wanted to get off the medicine because I have been combining it with medical marjuana , alchohol , anti anxiety (Xanax) and shrooms; along with adderall before I was given invega and after. So I believe I am possibly causing damage and being out of balance. I can’t concentrate sometimes and weight gain along with prolactin due to enlarged breast is a concern. Some websites are saying their have been no withdrawals from invega reported. hard finding a psychiatrist for new diagnoses also.
Avatar m tn Hi I am an 18 year old male and I have been dealing with damage done to my body from shrooms for over 2 years. I wen't to school on shrooms(yes very stupid) and I had a very bad trip, so bad that my personality was changed. My hands were always sweaty and shaking, i feel weaker and my muscles shake when i lift or do something. I get nervous when people stare at me and I feel very hot and start sweating. I can't even smile because my face twitches when I do.
Avatar f tn Im 36 weeks and my husbands brother came over last night with some shrooms and wanted to do them with him...which he did. Later after his brother left and he came up to bed with me he wanted to have sex and everything was fine and normal he came in me (sorry tmi) like he always does but i havent felt little man as much today as usual and im worried his cemen was affected by the shrooms? Does anyone know if this was bad for baby? Ive looked on the internet everywhere and cant find any answers.
Avatar m tn Just try to eat healthy, stay away from simple carbs, concentrate on vegetables, fruits and whole grains. Keep away from sodas and caffeine, but stay hydrated and active. It will get better, especially if you stop experimenting with exogenous neurotoxins from now on. Good luck.
Avatar m tn s more or less the fact that when my friend and I took shrooms one day I had a bad trip. He came over and told me I built a time machine. Now I think all the crazy things going on in my head and around me are the effects of the time lines warping from me no longer persuing that specific line and that it will stop soon.
Avatar m tn t approve of me using hard drugs. Well lets just say he basically thought I smoke pot and shrooms which he gave up ten years ago when he got a job. But, back to my problem. My family went on vacation and my grandpa happend to have a bottle of 100 7.5 Oxycodone 325 APAP. This excited me because I hadn't had opiates in a few months so I had no tolerance. It looked like my grandpa used the sparingly so I didn't think he would count them. So over this whole vacation I took 20 of them.
1416436 tn?1300317239 I also tried meth once 3 years ago, I tried cocaine 2 times about 2 or 3 years ago and I tried shrooms 1 time 2 and half years ago. I am curious to know if all this combined might have caused me to get GAD, is this the reason for it? I don't see how it could because since I turned 18 I've only been on drugs about 5 times and I haven't had any drugs for about year and I never felt like this before.
Avatar m tn I've had GERD for a few years and I take 40mg of Nexium (Esomeprazole) every day. I'd like to try magic (Psilocybin) mushrooms. It it possible that they would aggravate my reflux or interact negatively with the Nexium? I want to see brand new colors and feel like I'm one with the universe but I also want to be kind to my esophagus. Thanks!
689327 tn?1240229164 In the past yr I have been on celexa, lexapro , Zoloft and now back on lexapro because the 200 mg of Zoloft was making me shakey. None of these AD's seem to work aty anxiety and depression. The only slight relief I get is from klonopin, which I have been on for a yr also (low dose .25mg 3x's a day. My podcast keeps telling me to be patient because it takes time for these mess to work .
Avatar n tn No disrespect, but this is one of the more absurd questions I have read. You are on an anti-depressant (lexapro) and consuming alcohol, a CNS depressant, AND taking another mind-numbing substance (Vicodin). You should be taking Lexapro ONLY to deal with depression or whatever reason you are taking it. Both other meds are contraindicated for Lexapro. Smarten up.
Avatar m tn Equivalencies are generalizations, and you are an individual. Besides, Pristiq is a different class of drug than Lexapro. Lexapro is an ssri while Pristiq is an snri. And if it were me, which it isn't, I'd start at a low dosage and work my way up on any medication so I could see how bad the side effects were and the lowest dosage at which it works is.
Avatar n tn Is lexapro and xanax the same? If not, what is the difference and does the lexapro make you feel the same as xanax do??
Avatar n tn Hi All, I am a 30 year old male suffering from obssessive thoughts, I had a stomach ulcers 6 years back and i use Rabeprazole 20 mg daily as a maintenance therapy, My GP suggested escitalopram (Lexapro 10mg) daily, after 2 weeks using the medicine i feel much better and my thoughts have come down, however 2 weeks into the medication i started having severe stomach burning sensation especially in the upper stomach behind the breast bone and the center of the rib cage, i recognise its the same fee
1253246 tn?1332073310 Patients who suffer from depression and other mood disorders are often prescribed medications from the drug class known as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, or SSRIs. Lexapro is an SSRI that is commonly prescribed for depression and other mental health disorders. Unfortunately, the use of Lexapro has the potential to cause injury to the liver resulting in hepatitis and elevated liver enzymes. Read more: http://www.livestrong.
Avatar m tn Hi all As part of my treatment for trying to uncover why I have tachycardia, I had to see a psychiatrist, who has prescribed me Xanax (extended release - once daily) and Lexapro b/c he believes i suffer from generalized anxiety and possible depression. Does anyone on this board (with heart rhythm issues) have success stories from these drugs that you could share with me?
Avatar n tn I was taking lexapro and felt it was doing fairly well. Recently I had surgery and this doctor changed the lexapro to a paxil and buspar. At first I felt fine but now three weeks of the new meds and I am tired all of the time and very down. I have a medical condition that I have to take several meds for ex: fentora, oxyliquid, fentanel patch. perscribed through a pain management doctor. There is not much follow up with the new medicine and I wonder if all of this is good.
Avatar m tn Hello and welcome! Your doctor prescribed you a common regimen. The Lexapro is an SSRI antidepressant that will take some time to become effective (typically 4-6 weeks, sometimes up to 8 weeks, especially when starting on a low dose as you are). The Xanax is a benzodiazepine, anti-anxiety medication that is being Rx'ed to treat the symptoms of anxiety while you're adjusting to the Lexapro, and waiting for it to become effective in reducing your anxiety.
Avatar n tn if your main symptom is palpitations, then a beta blocker might be more appropriate than Lexapro. But if you had a lot of problems and most have gone away, then stick with the Lexapro -- drugs don't cure, they just mitigate the symptoms. You'll always have symptoms unless you find a cure through some kind of therapy work.
709686 tn?1277432159 Started Lexapro today and I am quite "jittery" and shaky. does anyone know if I can take a small benzo to help calm me down until the Lexapro takes effect?
616534 tn?1233236497 I am now on Bupropreon (sorry for the spelling) which is the opposite of Lexapro and it works better for me as it treats my ADD and my mood swings.
Avatar f tn We have been trying to get pregnant for about 6 months now and I have not been on birth control for atleast ten months. I have been perscribed previously to take Lexapro and i was wondering if it was safe to take this while trying to get pregnant?
