levothyroxine and ovulation

Hi, Im 20 years old and my fiance and I are trying to conceive and I have not yet become pregnant. I am afraid that due to my hypothyroid i may not be ovulating. I am currently almost 2 weeks late and had one positive urine test and two negative ones. I had a blood test done and that was negative as well. I'm on levothyroxine but only 25mcg. My doctor has been monitoring my TSH levels for almost a year now and has not altered my dosage. Could my thyroid be affecting my fertility?

Hi iam 20 I was taking levothyroxine-natrium ( t4 ) 50 micrograms a month and I still taking levothyroxine-natrium but my period missing 5 days but I had tender and sore breast iam pregnant or the medica in effect me Please let me know if you have any idea

I am 8 days past ovulation and 6 days till my next period. Could this be caused by low hormone levels?implantation bleeding? I am just not sure I have never ever had any type of spotting before my period is due. Thanks in advance!

m 19 years old and had irregular periods from the age of 14 and they have just started to settle down and vary from 28-32 days. i have all the fertility tests (Laparascopy, ovulation, scans) they have all come back normal. ive been trying to conceive since March this year, but still had no luck.

Another good one is Tirosint, which is a gelcap and contains only glycerine, water, Levothyroxine and gelatin. Tirosint tends to be the most expensive, but the manufacturer has programs for those who qualify. Is TSH the only thyroid related blood test that's being performed regularly? What about Free T4 and Free T3? Those are the actual thyroid hormones.

I take 50mg of levothyroxine for a border line underactive. Have no ovaries or womb and settled on HRT years ago as a result. Have never ever had bad skin. Until 5 - 6 months after taking Levothyroxine. The amount I take has stopped the terrible frightening symptoms I had. All of my family and friends and myself are so happy that I am now 'normal'. Hi, I'm 19 years old and I have Hypothyroidism. I've been on Levothyroxine since December and my dosage is currently 125mg daily. QUESTIONS: What tests can I request my family doctor to do on me? Could these lingering symptoms be caused by depression? By anemia? By vitamin deficiencies? By inadequate thyroid medication dosage?

But this week my weight started shooting up again my stomach is bloated and I am getting headaches and feeling very dizzy . I checked my blood pressure in cvs and it came to 140/100 which i understand is stage 1 hypertension. I haven't had hypertension before. Is his bcoz of levothyroxine ? I had my blood tested and then retested for hypothyroidism. MY TSH was 5.6 the first time. This last test included a T3 and T4 profile. I do not know what these last results were, but my PCP put me on 25 mcg of levothyroxine (after the results of this last test). I had a bout with AFib last year (just the one time) and they think it was caused by anxiety. One of the side effects of the levothyroxine is irregular heartbeat.

My father took 150 micrograms levothyroxine for a year and was 150 micrograms of TSH, T3 and T4 normal, but now has a very low TSH and normal T3 and T4. Currently I take 137 of Levothyroxine and 25 mcg of Cytomel. I was taking a half tablet in the morning and once in the early afternoon, but I couldn't manage to remember to take the afternoon dose in a timely fashion, and sometimes was kept up at night. I had an episode of AFib one year ago (anxiety related). On this dosage I was told chances are very low that it will bring on AFib.

I have another question regarding Levothyroxine. I've been on it for 5 weeks now and for the most part the only positive difference I've noticed is having more energy. The cons of things I've been feeling are muscle pains, menstrual cycle changes and digestion. Can Levothyroxine cause constipation or mess up your digestion in any way? I've been having a lot of abdominal pain for the past week and my stomach is just gurgling really loudly when I eat.

Have recently been diagnosed with Hashi and have started on levothyroxine but I have noticed since I started taking it that I get chronic heartburn - especially at night making it difficult to sleep, but it attacks me at any time of the day and it gets so bad I just want to curl up in a ball and tell the world to go away ! That's really hard to predict since we all react very differently to meds. It takes four to five weeks for a dose to stabilize in your system since T4 builds up over time (of course, your levels should be improving during this time, so some symptoms may be relieved). It can also take a while for your body to heal if you've suffered any damage from being hypo. So, you should be retested in about five weeks.

I take levothyroxine 1/2 hour before my early morning run and have noticed sometimes heart disturbances in the later in the day... I am not sure if levothyroxine is too blame or should I wait 1 hour before doing my running? Currently take 150mg x3 and 100mg x 4 per week and TSH 0.18 Have you experience the same thing? I'm 43 and don't want to damage my heart!
