Got retested a month after, chlamydia tested positive again. They prescribed me Levofloxacin for 7 days, 1 pill a day, of which i took the last pill monday. Today we are wednesday. Now one of the symptoms i was having was a slight sticky clear discharge at the tip of my penis. This symptom was not present during the whole 7 days i took the levofloxacin. But now 2 days after i took that last pill, that symptom is present again.
The urologist examined me and said that i still have an infection and that the std my have relapsed and developed a resistance to zith and doxy. He prescribed me another set of meds which include levofloxacin 500mgs once daily for 10 days and one dose of cefixime 400mgs. I had another partner which i already advised to go to the dr for a check up. I hope we'll be cured with the new meds soon. I learned a lesson in life and learned it well. I posted here because I was curious if anyone knew about fluoroquinolone resistance in C. Trachomatis (levofloxacin vs. ciprofloxacin, bacteriostatic or bactericidal effects), or anything along those lines.
For anyone reading this in a similar position, I followed up with my urologist over the phone, who advised that a recurrence of swelling and pain after d/c'ing antibiotics is typical with epididymitis and a NSAID like ibuprofen should be all that's needed.
The next major problem that is developing with MG is it is quickly becoming untreatable. Urologists are prescribing 30-45 days of ciprofloxacin and levofloxacin because they think they are treating some benign bacteria that just happens to not culture out. So what do these geniuses do? They blindly prescribe flouroquinlones that do only one thing...make MG resistant to the one antibiotic that still has some success...and that’s Moxifloxacin.
The doctor who gave you cipro for gonorrhea was mistaken, this drug is not longer a good treatment for gonorrhea due to drug resistance. However, with your negative test, I would not worry about it.
My recommendation is it wait a couple of weeks since taking your antibiotics, do not have sex with anyone, and then test for Ureaplasma, Mycoplasma and Trichomonas. And here's some copy/paste info for you:

I was infected by Mycoplasma genitalium 2 weeks ago by a woman in China, Guangzhou. In panic i took first 200mg Levofloxacin x 3 days. Then Azithromycin 500mg x1day then 250mg for 5 days, and also 200mg Minocycline x5 days mixed with the Azi.
Im now on the day after my last medication day, and i still feel a small burning feeling in my right thigh, near the blatter. It is not a stinging burning pain. Just a small burning. Not really a pain.
The fluoroquinolones no longer are recommended for gonorrhea treatment anywhere in the world because of high rates of resistance to it -- although the actual rates vary widely (although they are quite high in most third world countries, especially Asia/Pacific ones).
As you already know, the best approach would be to defer any further attempts at treatment until you can be examined professionally. If your symptoms stay as mild as they are, probably no harm will come in waiting 12-14 days.

Cefoperazone, cefotaxime, ceftazidime, ceftriaxone, cifixime.
My doctor then prescribed me CIFIXIME 400 mg two times a day for 1 week and one time a day for 2 weeks.

Careful with Levofloxacin. Sometimes the side effects aren't worth the benefits. I took Levofloxacin to cure a bout of pneumonia. Sure enough, the infection cleared up, but my joints ached so bad I could not raise my arms to take a shower, put my clothes on, bend to tie my shoes, get in and out of a car quickly. Strength training and jogging was out of the question for a month.
Is 500 mg of Levofloxacin every 48 hours suppose to make a 70 year old diabetic dialysis patient drowsy, fatigued, emotionally disturbed, and delirious?

I now understand that levofloxacin can cure E. I thought it had to cure C or G, which would in turn cure my E. But it seems, though I'd like someone to confirm it if you have any knowledge, that levofloxacin directly cures E.

You can develop resistance to a STAT-C drug however.
