i take zolaft 100 mg daily. i still have testi pain and burning. i am now bieng treated with diflucan for 7 days for a yeast infection. should i be worried. do u think my ngu was wiped out. i was bieng treated for resistant ngu.

Possible Mast cell activation disorder? Why woulod immune response continue and I keep feeling worse, aftger Cipro and Diflucan and Nuva ring were discontinued? How is this treated???? Skin biopsy reveals small nerve fiber involvement, but nmot inflammation. Cannot "feel" my muscles, myself breathe, etc., Please help.

I am getting painful ejaculation too in the veins or cords and terrible shooting pains in the pelvis with fungal infection. you could try methenamine/cystex. also cipro and levaquin may help and diflucan.

The dermatologist has given me antibacterial prescription cream along with a mix of hydrocortisone and antifungal cream with a pill of diflucan (antifungal pill). The dr thinks its some yeast around the area and wants to see me in one week because it's bad. Should I also be actively trying to make an appt with a urologist or could this just be stinging because the area is inflammed? I got this infection after taking bactrim for 7 days (twice a day).

I have also just yesterday switched my laundry detergent to one with no perfumes or chemicals. Nothing works. The redness and irritation continues. It’s better with erection and in the morning. It’s worse in the evening. Please help me I am at the end of my rope.

You need to write a letter and send it certified mail. Pain in the joints and elsewhere are common side effects of Levaquin. Most times this wears off (the good news), but there are instances of long-term damage from this particular antibiotic (that's the bad news). Statistics are on your side.

Right now I have extremely red hands and feet,both top and bottom and a blister like rash going from over my eyelids down the sides of my nose, down the sides of my mouth and over my chin. Cheeks are clear. I have had this rash for over 6 months the dermatologists has tried everything to no avail. I have fibromyalgia, lupus, a fungus in my esphogus that has had we courses of Diflucan and is still there. Could you maybe shed some light or make a suggestion.

I took the Diflucan. Day 5 i got my period. What do i do now?? And can i re-fill my Diflucan to take when i am thru with the antibiotic?? And really no tampons?? at all??

I am on the same abx, levaquin, for 10 days now and feel ok so far and I have a lot of issues with meds but so far so good. I have Barts and that is supposed to be good for the treatment of that and Lyme.

s say that the doctor calls me before the weekend and says that I did indeed have a bacterial infection that the Levaquin treated and all other tests came back negative (this is a hypothetical situation obviously). Many antibioitics cause reflux. Levaquin is a strong one and is known to cause problems. I would recommend that you take the Levaquin with dinner tonight (it is supposed to be taken with food) and then enjoy the evening with your husband so you can both monitor your symptoms. If you have the difficulty breathing again, you should go to an ER. Also, if you are an asthmatic, you probably just need to use your inhaler on a regular basis while you get over this infection.

Have severe joint pain in both knees and shoulders. Hurts to walk, and cannot move my arms above my head. Stopped taking Levaquin on Monday and is now Wednesay and pain is still unbelievable. Does anyone know how long the pain will last and is there any way to get the pain to go away sooner? My doctor said I should feel better in a couple of days.

I was on levaquin a couple years ago, it made me very sick to my stomach and gave me some joint pain. I didn't realize until after I took it that it can damage tendons and I read it can also cause hernias. I would never take it again. That's just my opinion, I would also ask for something else.

I went to the dr. today and was dx with a UTI. I am pretty sure I just have a UTI but if for whatever I have an STD will the Levaquin that I am taking for my UTI cure chlamydia or gonorhea? I was very concerned and went to urgent care. I told the doctor what I did and how my urethra felt, and he gave me one shot of Ceftriaxone and 1000mg of Azithromyacin. They also gave me a full panel test of HIV, HSV-2, Syphillis, Chlamydia, and Gonorrhea. (All these came back negative 2 days later). The next day I felt better and the burning urethra pain was only very little. Then on December 22, my symptoms increased and I had severe burning when I went pee.

If you have been taking levaquin, do not have a urine chlamydia test. Levaquin cures chlamydia and would make the test negative, even if you were infected recently. At this point, there is no point in having any more chlamydia testing at all.

I would trust the pharmacist. I have had levaquin and synthroid and it has been fine. They have website that you can search the reaction of medications with each other. Just google it. Good luck!
