Left breast larger than right

Common Questions and Answers about Left breast larger than right

breast

My left breast has suddenly grown in size and it feels more dense. It hangs slightly lower than my right and there is also a dimple about 4 inches below my left armpit. This dimple is only visable when my arm is in the air and I've also noticed my areolas 'puffing' when it's hot. Both do it however it is far more noticable in the left as the areola is larger too. I've lost a bit of weight over the last few months but don't see the connection and I am on the pill (have been for years).

My left breast is noticably larger than the right, probably slightly less than a cup size(left almost b, right a). I never really noticed this difference until a few years ago, maybe 5 or so. I think it may be due to breasts getting a little larger, gaining a few (10 or so) pounds over the past few years. My breasts seemed to be much smaller 10 years ago. Also have cyclical breast pain and slight swelling of both breasts in the week or two prior to period.
I am 28 yrs old and have had 2 children.. After each pregnancy I breastfeed. Now I have very saggy breats and lately my right breast seems to feel "heavier" then my left breast and is just slightly bigger. I feel like everyone can notice the difference! I have some pains in my muscle under my breast.. I went to my OBGYN and had a mamogram and an ultrasound and they were both fine according to my doctor. I am concerned.. with the slight pain (pulled muscle?
My left breast has become bigger than my right noticably. I have an indentation starting from under my arm through to my left breast on to the left. It looks like a line about 5cm in lenght with some discomfort and little pain and a warm sensation.
My left breast is getting significantly larger than my right. Does anyone know why? It was only noticably to me, but now I feel like you can tell in my clothes. It's just an annoying problem that I didn't have with my first pregnancy. I am 8 weeks this round and hope that it doesn't continue to grow!
However, this started about 4 months ago where my right eye was prominently larger than my left - people started asking what is wrong with your eyes. I feel that my right eye is definitely sticking out more than my left, but it seems to me that my left is also smaller than in previous years. When looking at photos, the smaller eye (left) feels to me to be the one that has changed. Can someone's eye go inwards?
i m also having larger right breast than the left one .plz let me know wt is ur doctor's opinion abt this .
Do you know what could possibly cause such discomfort? Also, my left breast is a size larger than my right and has been since I can remember, at least since I was 17 or younger but the pain did not start until after I had my daughter 6 years ago and wasn't often, now it is almost daily, usually off and on but as stated before it has been consistent for two days now. Thank you!
I went to the doctors today for a check up and he confirmed that my right boob feels much larger then my left and he said there is fullness on the outer upper quadrants of my right then requested I get an ultrasound done to look for lumps. I asked if it could just be a blocked duct as I only had my son 3 months ago but he said thats highly unlikey as I stopped breast feeding about 2 months ago. I called up the ultrasound place to make an appointment but thats not until next tuesday.
Nothing was found. However, I have a lymph node that is larger on the left side under the armpit and near the rib always more swollen than on the right. I have muscle tightness and pain that comes and goes. Sometimes, It radiates around to the upper left scapula and lately down my abdomen into the left groin. I try to relax and trust the CT scan and ultra sound results but it persists and there is no explanation as to WHY!!
no bumb, no nipple discharge and retraction, no dimbling , no skin changes ,no redness or heat ,no growing vein, left breast is a little bigger than the right breast BUT I't seems that inframammary ridge is a little bit thicker on the left breast especially when I'm lying down ( Is this something to worry about? Need some guidance and answers. Thanks for your time.
(My mother's tumor tissue was tested and was negative.) There are no skin changes, discharge, etc., although my left breast is slightly larger than my right, but I believe it always has been. I do not were tight clothes, and haven't had any injury I can remember.
I too have reoccuring pain in the left breast and shoulder and even down into the arm at times. When this happens I usually find that my heart rate goes up. I have been to the er several times. The last time they kept me for two days and did bloodwork, echocardiogram, heart cath, and ekg. All came back normal. When this happens I usually have burning in my esophagus also. The doctors said they believed it to be possibly a muscle coupled with stress and acid reflux.
I knew it was there because my right breast is slightly larger than the left. Though, it's normal for women to have one breast larger than the other, it's NOT normal for me. I touch my breast all the time (self breast exam), I look at em, I like em a lot : ) So I know when there is something 'off' about them. My boyfriend noticed that one was larger than the other one day. He said that he thought it was strange (he knows my breast well too). I downplayed it.
She had some breast pain due to her fibrocysts and her and breast sonographies last mamography which was a year ago indicated that she has an almost larger cyst in her right breast. She also has a uterus fibroma that after her menopose it stopped growing. now she find out that her left breast is larger than the other and it is almost 3 months that she suffers from a slight pain in her left arm. We had not performed a breast sonography or mammography yet but I'm really concerned about it.
I am w/f 21 years old. I noticed my left breast is visabily larger than my right. I noticed a lump that is getting bigger. I went to my family doctor, he agreed. He sent me to a surgeon, he felt the lump, then did an ultra sound. He said the lump is all normal breast tissue, but it is painful. Have you ever had the feeling that something isn't right? I want to go to another doctor, but I can't really afford to go and be told the same thing...anyone have any information?
It isn't uncommon to have one breast smaller than the other, or for one to produce more milk than the other. You can try having the baby suck more on the breast that produces less milk, or to suck on that breast first when the baby is most hungry, to stimulate the flow on that side.
Its been a hour since i touched at it at all and i went to check again and still more green puss. I keep examining my breasts to see if the right is larger then the left and it does seem a little swollen but i think that was caused by me squeezing it over and over again. I am not in pain but also know i can not go to the doctors. Is there any advice i can be given on what to do? Leave it alone and it will subside? see if after my period it stops?
I talked with the dr about my size and what he thought I should do. My right breast was bigger than my left, so he said to go larger on my left and a implant on my right to even it out. So I agreed. About a month and 1/2 I noticed that my right was larger than my left still and I wasnt happy with that. I had a Dr's appt today with him and it was said that yes the wrong implant was put in the wrong breast, the larger implant was suppost to be put in the left, but was put in my right!!
i had a 2" diameter lymph node removed back in Feb 2013 - path came back "clean" - no explination why so large...
breast MRI to check why my left breast was suddenly larger than my right and the nipple is inverted. Everything came out clear except for showing the Asymetrical breast. They suggested to repeat the breast MRI in 6 months because of the differnt size of the breast. Is there any other test I can do know to confirm there's nothing to worry about instead of waiting 6 months. What would cause these sudden changes? Age? Hormones? Thank you so much for your input!
However, now the lump became bigger and it kind of look like gas pushing it up (so my left breast is higher than my right breast). I just turned 16 in october, and at the moment, the pain hurts so much that I can barely move around. I took painkillers, but it doesn't seem to work at all..I went to my doctor before and she pressed on it and said its just somekind of gas and shouldn't bother my daily life. But that was before the lump became larger, even so before it was also super painful.
My mom noticed my left breast is bigger than my right breast in a photo, and the left breast is bit sore and it has a thickness feel to it like its full. compared to my right breast. i did self exam n my breast and had my mom check it out as well she didnt feel any lumps she said. just a bit of thickness when i look in the mirror the left nipple looks bigger than the right.

For the past 2 weeks, I have noticed that my right breast seems to be shrinking and is getting quite smaller than my left breast. Any ideas on what can cause this? This discussion is related to breast shrinkage.

The Wednesday before Thanksgiving I was told that the two masses i have in the left breast; 1=4.5 cm, 2=2cm; were both malignant. I only had the FNA so they were not able to tell me any other details, so Friday I had a large core biopsy done. I also had blood drawn and a CAT scan. After the scan, the surgeon showed us a third mass in the same breast. He also said that two lymph nodes were swollen.
Multiple simple cysts and two oval benign appearing masses are described within the left breast. the larger of the masses, which is periareolar has been stable on mammography for at least two years. Routine followup is recommended in a years time with a bilateral mammogram and left breast ultrasound. In layman's terms, do I have anything to worry about? I am due to see a specialist later this month. What questions can I ask him?
