Left breast bigger than right

Common Questions and Answers about Left breast bigger than right

breast

I am not sure if I am having some sort of capsular contracture as my right breast is much bigger and 'squarer' than then other breast. It is also more firm and I can feel knuckles of the implant. I am 12 weeks post-op and the breast had dropped 3 weeks post-op. How do I get rid of these knuckles?
But i was feeling sick for a week, never got sick but felt sick, still feel a tiny ill once in a while, but not too bad. however my left breast feels as though it may be a slight bit bigger than normal and is a little sore. i think my breasts are always a little sore and sensitive it might all be in my head, but yet i am paranoid and still nervous about the possibility of being pregnant? any one have any insight on my chances of being pregnant, or Why my breast may feel a bit larger and tender?
i cant even explain how happy i am to know im not the only one with this little 'abnormality'! my left inner labia is MUCH bigger than my right (since my right labia is virtually nonexistent!), wrinkly (really old looking), and constantly is getting in the way! but Ive realized it is indeed normal. and im only 15! so think how bad its gonna get later in life and after kids! i still dont like the fact my pubic area is 'symmetrical' and im still self conscious of the fact.
My right breast has not been putting off as much as the left but now my left breast is a lot bigger then my right and I don't know what to do.... is this normal??
My left breast has become bigger than my right noticably. I have an indentation starting from under my arm through to my left breast on to the left. It looks like a line about 5cm in lenght with some discomfort and little pain and a warm sensation.

This is my first preg, and I'm 15 wks, and my left breast is definitely bigger than the right. Naturally, accdg to the doc, one is bigger than the other (unless you are surgically altered), so it seems common for one to grow at a different rate during pregnancy. I'm not worried about it for that reason, and it's not a full cup size bigger, so I can still deal with normal bras. is yours so much bigger that a bra is not working for the left side?
I went to the doctors today for a check up and he confirmed that my right boob feels much larger then my left and he said there is fullness on the outer upper quadrants of my right then requested I get an ultrasound done to look for lumps. I asked if it could just be a blocked duct as I only had my son 3 months ago but he said thats highly unlikey as I stopped breast feeding about 2 months ago. I called up the ultrasound place to make an appointment but thats not until next tuesday.
Just found this link and thought will message here for some answers and if any have relief from this. I am 28. And my left breast is also a bit bigger (larger compared to the right one... I can easily see the difference.. is it normal? I normally dont put a bra when at home. is the pain due to that?
no bumb, no nipple discharge and retraction, no dimbling , no skin changes ,no redness or heat ,no growing vein, left breast is a little bigger than the right breast BUT I't seems that inframammary ridge is a little bit thicker on the left breast especially when I'm lying down ( is this something to worry about? Need some guidance and answers. Thanks for your time.
I have had pain in my left breast for several years and I don't think it's related to my period. The reason I am saying this is because I get the pain even when it's not close to my period. I have tenderness under my arm, how ever at 12 a cyst was found in my left breast and then at 13 on my right ovary.
About three days after my period I noticed a distinct difference in my left breast and armpit. It was very lumpy and is now slightly bigger than my right breast. When I was in high school I had some "lumpy" breasts during menstruation but since then I have never had dense breasts. My Gyno sent me to have a mammogram and ultrasound. The mammogram came back negative and the ultrasound tech briefly looked at my left breast during the examination and decided it was dense tissue.
My left breast has suddenly grown in size and it feels more dense. It hangs slightly lower than my right and there is also a dimple about 4 inches below my left armpit. This dimple is only visable when my arm is in the air and I've also noticed my areolas 'puffing' when it's hot. Both do it however it is far more noticable in the left as the areola is larger too. I've lost a bit of weight over the last few months but don't see the connection and I am on the pill (have been for years).
I was never able to nurse or pump off of the right side. I nursed three boys for a total of 48 months between the three on only the left breast. No formula at all. They were huge babies so it clearly worked, lol. They were all over 8# at birth and by a year, were between 25-30#! It was more work around the clock, but I did it. My youngest didn't eat any solids during his first year and was 30# at a year! Oatmeal is a great way to help with milk production as is fenugreek.
I am 8 1/2 months pregnant and noticed a small hard lump in my left breast about 2 months ago (underneath my areola towards the very bottom) it almost felt like a bb, firm, immobile, and was smooth shaped. I had my OB look at it/feel it and she said that she didn't find it concerning as their are tons of changes going on with my breasts because I'm pregnant. She ordered me to have a ultrasound of it but I'm unAble to get in for 3 weeks!
I am so frustrated! My left breast is like a whole cup bigger than my right one. It also seems my belly is larger on the left. The baby did originate from my left ovary. Could that be Why? Or is it just my body being odd? I feel like I need to put a breast pad in my bra on one side. My boobs were the same size before pregnancy. Will they even out after baby girl arrives? Or am I stuck with it?
hello one of my breast ( left one) is two sizes bigger then the other and I'm just concerned about it i mean is it normal to be that big of difference
I am w/f 21 years old. I noticed my left breast is visabily larger than my right. I noticed a lump that is getting bigger. I went to my family doctor, he agreed. He sent me to a surgeon, he felt the lump, then did an ultra sound. He said the lump is all normal breast tissue, but it is painful. Have you ever had the feeling that something isn't right? I want to go to another doctor, but I can't really afford to go and be told the same thing...anyone have any information?
My left breast is way more swollen and sore then my right one. My period is due in about 6 days... I dont always have sore breast before my period... sometimes I do and sometimes I dont. However, this month both breast started to become sore about 7dpo and now the left one is wayyyy worse than the right. It is noticable how much bigger it is when my shirt is off. I tested today which I know is probably too early. I figured I was out this month because the bf and I were both sick during o days.
The right side under my breast at top of ribs feels bigger, fuller than left side. Feel nothing on left side. Always feel this in mornings. No systems of crohns . Sometimes can feel a little worse than discomfort.
I have a lump on my Right breast, and it hurts especially when I don't have bra on. Doctor said Fibroglandular tissue, but thing is, it is 3 time bigger than my left breast. I also had Lymascaroma on my right kidney and they had take it out. So I wondering if they could be related and do high risk to have breast cancer.
I have the same pain in the left breast in exactly the same place and I am 26 wks. It's been going on for sometime now. That breast is a lot bigger than the other normally and more fibrous, so I tend to get pain in that one leading upto my periods also. The pain is ok in the day but in the morning after I have been lying on it, it pains. I like you have worried, but there are no visible lumps and my breasts are lumpy at the moment anyway.
I am 21 years old - have never had children and am definately not pregnant. My left breast has always been almost a cup size bigger than the right. There is no rash but there is a small "one off" mark in the centre of the itchiness which which looks a bit like a bite. I thought it was a bite to begin with but have had the problem for a few months now and an insect bite would have healed.
