period

Avatar f tn I got pregnant on Yazmin Lo....and I took it like clockwork.
Avatar f tn I have been on birth control for 2 months now. I haven't missed any pills, but I usually take them within 2 hrs. Its always between 825 and 10. But 4 days ago I had un protected sex then took my pil 4 hours late. Then the next day I started on my white pills. I'm on yaz so I only have 4 white pills and I'm on the day where I should be starting my new pack and still no period. Is it possible to be late while on birth control? Or do I have a big chance of being pregnant?
Avatar f tn So, I am on YAZ Birth Control and have been for over 9 months now. I always take my pill on time, the latest I have ever been is about 2 hours. I forgot to take one, and I took it at 12 the next day, and then took the normal one at the right time. Now, I had sex with my boyfriend about a week before this happened and he pulled out. I had not had sex with him since my last period. Now, my period is late. Is there any possibility I'm pregnant? Please help. Thanks!
Avatar n tn then i desided it wasnt the right birth controll method for me. and my period so far is 10 days late. so think it may be a general missing pill problems. hope you find ot what it is. have you been to the doctors? im booking an appointmen tomorow.
Avatar f tn I have been reading a lot of really horrible things about birth control and I am trying to find out how safe it really is. I am not taking it for the birth control aspect, but for pmdd and acne. I am curious about the effect of decreased sex drive- it's important to me and my relationship, and wondering if EVERYONE has this side effect because of the effects on testosterone and is this a lasting effect even if I were to stop taking it.
Avatar n tn Although the pill does prevent pregnancy it still happens. However if you have been gradually becoming more irregular it could just be the pill itself. I read some posts on other forums about women getting pregnant while on yaz but I'm not sure how common it is. I was on yaz for a year and a few months (just stopped taking it recently) and had awful side effects while on the pill and from stopping it.
Avatar f tn I've been on birth control (Yaz) since late September, so my period follows a strict schedule, showing up every fourth Monday. Often times I've missed pills, but it's never resulted in an early or late period; it dutifully shows up on the day it's supposed to. Except for my last period. My period was due July 26th. I missed pills on the 17th and 18th, the same days I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend.
Avatar f tn I am 35 & have been on a few differrent pills for about 12 years and was most satisfied with Alesse and then Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo. I switched to Yaz because the doc thought it would help with the extreme fatigue I experienced the week before my period. There was no other need for me to switch other than to combat that problem.
Avatar m tn Hi, my situation is that I had my period on 1th May 2016. I am usually on Yaz birth control pills. On 7th and 8th of May I forgot to take Yaz and decided to stop the pack. On 10th May had unprotected intercourse and on 11th took norlevo. After that day I started spotting brown and on 15 May it was red and heavy like my period normally is. It lasted 3 days. I was expecting my period on 28 May but nothing. Have done two pregnancy tests both negative.

1541697 tn?1302581951 Okay so I am on birth control (YAZ) so my period is suppose to be more regular and yadi ya but lately the past few months I havent even been having my period. Like occasional mini periods (Minimal bleeding) but thats about it. They aren't when they are suppose to be either it just happens at the most random times.
Avatar f tn I am on Yaz and have been on it for almost 2 months before I started taking Yaz I was on the Depo shot. On my second pack of Yaz I missed two pills one on Monday and one on Wednesday I took them right when I remembered to but I'm afraid maybe I could get pregnant ..what are the chances??
Avatar f tn [quote="anonymous"] When I was a senior in high school I went on Yasmin because I had heard so much about it and my gyno gave me a few samples to try. Well I did try it and LOVED it and stayed on it for about 2 years until my gyno's nurse suggested I try Yaz. She said it was about the same thing and I get shorter periods.
Avatar n tn Hi have been on the combined birth pill since I was 13.5 years old due to irregular and heavy periods. I came off 3 times to fall pregnant, which I did the month straight after eg off pill period then fell. Each time the mini pill wasn't strong enough to control the bleeding. A year a ago I was on a pill and I thought that my anxiety and weight was an issue so I changed to the Yaz combined pill. My anxiety and weight haven't changed.
Avatar f tn Im actually on the same birth control but Ive only been on it for a week and a few days I noticed im getting head acks too and its been a little over week since Ive had my period as well and just recently started getting a weird discharge, Also I feel nausiated some times too specially when I try to go eat. Sorry I couldnt help you but Ive been looking forever to find out about whats going on with me lately, your post just sort of helped a little.
Avatar f tn I was on birth control for 3 years and I stopped taking it I didn't get my monthly for atleast a good month so that could be why. I was on yaz. But that was a year ago. But not I'm haveing the same problem as you I missed my monthly and its been a week and a half now and still nothing but when I took a prgnacy test it came back nagitive.
Avatar n tn I stopped taking mine mid cycle cause I thought I might have gotten pregnant, and I started bleeding a few days later. When you are on birth control you will have a withdrawal bleed instead of a period. The first time you bleed will probably be the withdrawal bleed and then it could take a while to get your period. I didn't get mine until more than four weeks later.
Avatar f tn okay so it has been 40 days since my last period. ive been on birth control since i was 13 for PMDD and recently switched to yaz from seasonique. i had unprotected sex while i was switching meds. i took a pregnancy test three days ago and it was negative but i still havent started... what should i do?
Avatar n tn I have a question about the birth control pill. I am currently on Yaz and have been for about 6 months now. Last month, I missed a pill but made it up the next day when i remembered. I did this two times the entire month but on seperate weeks (both times making up the pill the next morning). I also was not able to take it at the exact same time each night due to busy schedule.
Avatar f tn I have been on Yaz for almost a year now.. and last month I finished my entire pack including the white pills without any "withdrawal period." I start each pack on a Sunday, and on my second pill on the new pack (Monday) I got some spotting like how it is when you are about to start your period. However, it ended there. My full "period" never came. Yesterday, i finished that pack and still my period hasn't come.
Avatar n tn I started taking Yaz on the first day of my period, it's been two and a half weeks now and my period hasn't stopped at all. Usually it only lasts about 3-4 days for me. This is the first time I've been on ANY birth control and I know my body's going to have to adjust, but how long should I expect this to go on?
Avatar f tn At the end of May (on the 18th), I had surgery on my stomach and stopped taking the Yaz. I had been forgetting to take them all month, and had a very light period right before the surgery. Anyway, come June, I got my period in the middle of the month, like on the 14th, which was weird considering my periods usually come at the end of the month. Then, on the 24th, I lost my virginity. We used a condom and were careful, etc.
Avatar n tn So i am looking to switch birth controls, i do not want the pill in fear of not remembering on a daily basis. I was looking online about the patch but i have also heard of skin problems from it. Can someone please recommend me a good type of birth control?
Avatar m tn She also takes Nikki (YAZ) birth control. She was taking the birth control while in China. I visited china. On January 7th or 8th, we were messing around and she was rubbing my penis in her vagina area. I did not ejaculate, but I imagine there was some precum. The next day, she flew back to America. The night before we messed around, she took her birth control as normal, and we messed around around 2Pm that next day. That evening we were out late and she said she forgot to take her pill.
Avatar f tn I started yaz a month ago and was pretty consisitant! Now no period... As of now 3 days late- at one day late I tested just to make sure so I could stop BC but now still no period! I've had cramps for over a week now! I'm getting so irratated.
Avatar f tn I started Lo Loestrin Fe oral birth control pill on January 14, 2014 after being off of it since Thanksgiving of 2013. Previously I had constant break-though bleeding (more like a period- for even 2 and a half weeks) and cramps. I switched to Microgestin and that made me so sick I stopped, and then restarted Lo Loestrin Fe. I have taken it everyday and have never missed a pill.
Avatar f tn Hello! I was on birth control pills for the very first time last July. I was on YAZ (had no issues with it, nor was I using for PMDD) for about 6-7 months both for BC and to regulate my period. I have been very irregular since I had my very first period at 13. Then this December was my last pack because I was unable to afford it. January through April my periods were still coming regularly even though I was no longer using the pill (my last period starting on 4/1).
