laser

Avatar f tn The only treatment is removal by surgery with/without skin grafting (depending on the size of the lesion) or use of laser (CO2 Laser). It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
Avatar m tn thanks for the feedback, i'm a little puzzled about something due to the surgery part, you might have an answer. well, i've read that surgery is to remove the fat in the under eyes but does it also remove the dark circles or the darkness will remain there after the fat is removed?
Avatar m tn Six weeks after cataract surgery and have swelling under eyes. Could this be a reaction to the multiple eye drops you have to use for so long? Will it go down in time.
Avatar f tn im 21 yrs. old and have had bags under my eyes forever, i don't believe in surgery on my eyes so what else can i do?
Avatar f tn Can laser surgery to dissolve film after cataract surgery (secondary) contribute to problems with glare? I had cataract surgery both eyes about 2 yrs. ago to correct glare problems (no blurring) That helped about a year & then it came back. I had laser tx. to remove film about 4 months ago, it has not helped. Then I had eyelid surgery about a month ago to help ptosis. Does it take a while for my eyes to recover from the laser? It is a little better now but barely.
Avatar f tn re still very unhappy, you could consult either a plastic surgeon or an ophthalmologist who specializes in plastic surgery about removing the bags under your eyes. This would involve an outpatient procedure not covered by your insurance. A cosmetic dermatologist might be able to reduce your dark circles with laser treatment.
Avatar n tn Is it pretty common for the laser surgery (to remove scar tissue) to not be successful? The doctor says I have a "tag" hanging and will have to be removed by surgery. Sounds like the laser surgery was not properly done. Thanks for your response.
Avatar m tn Hi, I am 22 year old and about 4 years ago I had retinal detachment surgery followed by surgery to remove bleeding after the retinal detachment, and then I had cataract surgery after that. Today I noticed that sometimes I see a tiny/faint flash of white light when I move my eyes and it doesn't happen all the time.
Avatar n tn I know a young woman who was so bothered by her bags that she had surgery to remove them (not real painful but will cost a few thousand dollars). This outpatient procedure can be done by a plastic surgeon or ophthalmologist who specializes in plastic surgery.

7560840 tn?1392007755 It is not likely that lasik would be able to correct all of your myopia. However depending on the thickness of your cornea and its radius of curvature and the length of your eyes a type surface laser (PRK) might reduce the numbers 6-7 diopters to -4 and -1.00 to 0.00 You would need to see an Eye MD ophthalmologist that specializes in corneal/refractive surgery.
Avatar n tn Femtosecond laser would not be used to remove/replace IOL but to do refractive surgery on the cornea to reduce the amount of myopia he has. How much that could be corrected depends on the present thickness and curviture of the cornea and the instruments available and the skill and experience of the surgeon. He has a bad problem, he needs the finest of care, a team of ophthalmologists as I have said at least one retinal surgeon and one anterior segment/cornea/refractive surgery specialist.
Avatar n tn Is there a best way to get rid of the Ptegyrium without going through the surgery? Or is there a way to get rid of the gritty sensation in my eyes? I appreciate any advice you can provide.
Avatar f tn I had cataract surgery last week and now am seeing I have a "bag" under my eye...I've never had bags before..its 10 days since surgery...I have complete faith in my opthalmologist here in Teaneck, NJ...I'd just like a second response on why this might be?
Avatar n tn Hi, I am a 14 year old boy who has been experiencing huge bags under my eyes when I wake in the morning and a lot of the time last the whole day with lines under my eyes(though less noticeable). In the morning , it feels like my eye lids feel heavy and when I look in the mirror, it looks like they my eye lids are half closed. I started realizing this during the summer when I went on a 2 week bike trip along the coast of California.
Avatar f tn i haven't been able to sleep for the past 5 nights I just sleep like 3 hours a night!! & I realized today I started getting bags under my eyes! Will they go away!!??

Avatar f tn Generally patient is asked to rest and activity is limited to basic necessity for at least 1 week until the laser treated area become strong enough to be considered a permanent cure. All the best for the surgery! Take care!
Avatar n tn As I posted before of the chronic 24/7 post nasal drainage, now I am having much increased congestion with difficulty breathing through nostril and much increased water bags under eyes with dark blue to black discoloration under the eyes. My swelling is under eyes, upper part of cheebone area as well as outside sides of nose. I am now starting to wheeze and cough, my doctor said that I now have asthma from my vasomotor rhinitis. All steroid nasal sprays don't help.
Avatar m tn I want to know if anything can be done to remove it and if so, what are the potential complications. Thanks.
Avatar f tn The brownish staining from the bruising I got following multiple surgeries on my right eye was completely removed by a single treatment with a Q-switched laser. This is the same laser used to remove tattoos. I had previously been told that the problem was untreatable, since no cream could penetrate that deeply. But I recently found an article on the Candelalaser website describing the use of a Q-switched laser to treat blood staining on the legs and calves. I was referred to Dr.

802234 tn?1237830136 My question I took my first dose of Seroquel XR last night and woke with small puffy area inside the 'bags' under my eyes they are still there 9 hours into the day - a non-work, no sun, low energy day (the bags are normal, puffiness is normal when I cry) but usually the whole 'bag' is swollen not just a part. They are not exactly the same size or in the same position, not red, itchy, hot or sensitive.
Avatar n tn Every so many years you may have to go in for lasering of your eyes to remove the film but that is only more like a 20 minute thing, you just have to sit very still while he does it. When the laser is on the light will get super bright in your eye, but....that is normal, just keep sitting very still and it will be over in no time at all. My gf who had the same surgery told me she had to have her eye lasered I think 3 times because of film that formed over it. I know....it is annoying.
Avatar n tn A month or two later, a lattice degeneration on my left eye had a small hole, and it was also repaired with laser surgery. Since then, I have developed macular puckers in both eyes. As a result, my vision is blurry. I also have double vision in both eyes, and it may or may not be a result of the macular puckers. Both doctors said the only way to improve my vision is to have vitrectomy in both eyes.
Avatar f tn Hello there Dr, Thankyou so much so your valued advice. After you gave me that link I did some research and organised to see an eye MD. I also found there's a laser treatment called Ruby laser is to remove the pigmentation of nevus of ota symptom. This gave us big hope DR!
