The Vbeam produces a laser light that can be absorbed by the red pigment in the skin. The Vbeam laser works in combination with the Cool Touch laser and with a substance called Levulan. While the Vbeam laser removes red from acne scar tissue, the Cool Touch laser tightens the skin from the inside out. But this requires more than two sittings to take effect. So you should follow up with your cosmetologist and get it done in multiple sittings.

forget about eyes am keepin my fingures crossed for gettin a clear skin through laser treatment ...its has been 4 yrs n 15settings of laser trtmnt..and still 10-15 % to go!!! i hav approched many famous eye and skin specialist for surgery or laser thng but they say that till now in our country there no treatment available...
t actually cut the affected skin out and results in very minmal scarring is the pulse laser. Treatment seems to result in almost instant relief from itching and 12 months later the problem has not reoccured. It is carried out under local anaesthetic in small areas at a time and he has had little or no discomfort afterwards. Definitely worth doing as the itching used to drive my son totally nuts!
for a long time i thought i had really stubborn eczema but until today i went to a dermatologist and i found out that it was ilven (inflammatory linear verrucous epidermal naevus)
i want to know more about treatments for ilven.
i herd about CO2 laser treatment and apparently it worked well to reduce itching...but is this long term?
also about surgery where removing parts of the skin.
I use it! I love it i think my teeth look different but not as white as i want! BUT that's me I feel i need laser teeth whitening for what i want!! DH loves it he says its the only kind that dont make his gums bleed which i do agree too!!
im asian with a slight dark skin colour but my whole body has many different shades which takes a great toll on my confidence. However the face, neck and arms are my biggest concern. the area around my mouth and chin is quite dark and can be easily spotted, my cheeks seems to be lighter but with dark spots which im sure is melasma, my eye area is quite dark compared to the rest of my face and my forehead a medium colour.
Get a thorough cleaning of your teeth before whitening. So, long as you follow the directions for whitening and don't do it more than 2 x a year you'll be fine. If you're wanting a professional whitening, just listen to your dentist. Be aware that "at home" whitening kits are safe, but can cause irritation of the gums, but this goes away once you're done whitening. If it becomes bothersome, just skip a day between whitening.

I have used TCA, glycolic peels, hydroquinone, tretioin, kojic, bit nothing has reduced it. Recently i heard that yag laser can be used for depigmenting skin by destroying melanin cells itself, and in a way cause hypopigmentation in these regions.

Apply sunscreen with at least an SPF 15 generously over the face when staying outdoors. A Vitamin E cream may help soften and smoothen the skin. Whitening creams my be abrasive.Just continue to observe the skin. If this does not improve ,then other forms of therapy like microdermabrasion and even Laser therapy may be able to help.
Normally a combination of treatments is followed and if nothing proves effective then dermabrasion and laser therapy are useful. You can discuss these treatment options with your dermatologist.
Most important is to keep you face clean by washing with a mild soap atleast twice a day. Pat it dry and do not rub it. Avoid picking or pressing the acne.
