My laser treatment - surgery - is planned for January. Has anyone had laser surgery for genital warts removal before?
I am worried about the scarring and the recovery part of the surgery. My Dr. said I would be in bed for about 15 days following the surgery, and that it would take about 1 month to heal completely. I've heard about horror stories... bad scarring... tissue sticking together... skin not being the same afterwards, and complicated intercourse following the surgery.

Usually these scars improve through the use of a combination of laser treatment, dermabrasion or use of chemical peels. There is a scar removal product on the market now. (Sorry, I can't remember the name) but it was on the television last night) Their claim is that it significantly diminishes scars of any kind. Maybe you could do a google search for scar removal products.
m interested in the best treatment that will remove these scars as close to 100% as possible without leaving any additional scars or scar like areas in the place of the depressions.

I recently had a mole removed by laser. It was a small dark flat mole, more like a beauty mark. However, as it healed, it left a crater type of scar. It has been 2 weeks, will this crater heal over time? Is there something I can use or do to help it heal?
