The risk of re-detachment of your retina after YAG laser capsulotomy is low, especially if your retina was repaired with a scleral buckle. If your doctor feels the loss of vision is due to the film behind your IOL, it should be hard not to proceed with capsulotomy based on potential risk. Just keep your scheduled post-laser follow-ups and report ANY new flashes or floaters.

My question was, what is considered high altitude. After all, if one lives near a huge mountain, as I do, just driving near the top of it would take me up 2000 feet in less than thirty minutes from my house.

After receiving pdt for ocular histo , Istarted having a flashing in my eyes. The pdt didn't work and i ended up having the hot laser done.The flashing I see in my left eye is in the blind spot. When I close my right eye the flashing is very active and noticeable. With both eyes open, the best way I can describe it is that it is like a constant movement in my line of vision left of center.When you see a shaft of sunlight on the wall, coming thru a window, moving, fluttering, with no color.
hi, after going to the gym today i experienced blurred vision in my left eye. It was almost like i was seeing rings. After five minutes or so it went away and since then Ive had a minor headache, ear ache and rare throat pain. I still feel pretty out of it and not my normal self. hello. Eight months ago I had breast reduction and abdominal liposuction surgery. After which my surgeon told me 2 liters of fat had been removed. I am 54 yo and weighed around 170 lb. I was told post op that my stomach was swollen. 6 months later I questioned the dr. about what bump in abdomen was. She told me I had a hernia. Now my stomach is protruding worse than it did pre- liposuction. Is it possible my liposuction caused this to appear? What do you recommend I do next? Both my family Dr.
