3 days later laryngitis is getting better but now I got a small fever. My usual daily temperature is between 97.9 and 98.6 (with average being 98.2-98.4)
On the 13th day my temperature is somewhere between 99.2 and 99.8 for about 3 hours since I woke up.
Here are my questions:
1. what are my risks for the following:
a. HIV
b. Syphilis
c. Herpes
d. Chlamydia
e. Gonorrhea
f. HPV
2. Can my sore throat be an indicator of any of the above?

restasis rx for dry eye 1/11 thurs 1/30 i started alot of post nasal symptoms by sat i had laryngitis severe by sunday went to er, they said stop restasis. viral syndrom dx. is laryngitis a side effect? i am very sensitive to all rx drugs and antibiotics , i have intolerences so did these eye drops cause this , also on synthyroid for goitors need help, i stopped the drops but i have this post tickle coughing jags no fever no rash ..
I had a unprotected sex about 3 and half weeks back with an unknown Girl for about 5 mins. It has been about 9 days since the sexual encounter and I am wondering what my risk factors are.

My symptoms initially began as a cold with chest congestion, extreme throat pain, fatigue, and a fever for the first two days. Almost all of those symptoms went away within one week and now I'm left with the sore throat. I also have post nasal drip so I'm wondering if this is causing the pain. The pain seems to get worse in the evening or in cold temperatures. It hurts to talk also.
I have developed a chronic dry cough & laryngitis, currently I have been dealing with symptoms for a month. I am a 27 year old male, I work part time as an art Professor at an university. Yesterday I gave a 15 minute talk and my voice cracked at least 3 times. Inaddition, my voice cracks periodically throughout the week. Do you have any idea what it could be?

There are many conditions which can cause difficulty in speaking at higher pitches. Voice misuse and overuse are common causes. Acute laryngitis caused by allergies, viral infection, chronic laryngitis and laryngoesophageal reflux all can cause hoarseness and voice difficulties. Rare but serious causes producing these symptoms are vocal cord paralysis and vocal cord tumours.Please see your Otolaryngologist (Ear, Nose, and Throat doctor) for an evaluation.
Okay, since 1992 I have had lots of throat infections in 1995 I had my tonsils and adanoids removed to help however it never did. And still had aleast 7 throat infections and laryngitis a year but since January this year I have had 20suvere throat infections all with laryngitis.
However, a side effect of both medications is laryngitis. I recently had laryngitis for 6 weeks. It started as a virus and would not go a way. I decided it was my atrovent neb (an anticholinergic like Spiriva). My allergist thought it was my Dulera (inhaled combination med like Advair). I eliminated the atrovent and reduced my Dulera and the laryngitis healed.
She needs to discus any changes in dosage with her doctor before making changes.

Oct11-11- in Germany different CSWs: had 4 protected vaginal, 4 unprotected BJs & 1 deep french kiss. After 5.2 weeks I had Hi fever for 3 days, 1 cold sore, followed by 10-day fatigue, then after 5 days chest congestion followed by 2-day severe laryngitis
On Dec1- in Ger diff CSWs: I was bit feverish while having laryngitis I had another set of 4 protected vag, 3 protected BJs, & 1 unprotected BJ (the last one).
The ARS symptoms you have listed are the ones you don't have, the symptoms you do have, have no association with ARS.
