I have developed a chronic dry cough & laryngitis, currently I have been dealing with symptoms for a month. I went thru same illness 5months ago was in the hospital & then passed around to various specialists without any real answers. I have done allergy testing, tests to rule out relfux, seen ENT, pulmonlogist, & family dr multiple times with not much success. No one can tell me why I got better last time, or why I am dealing with the same situation again.
I found it odd myself. who knows?

Some of the information provided by the New York Department of Health. (While most of the basic info is accurate, they are using old research and falsely proclaim HPV is contagious for life. New research indicates this isn't usually the case.
My co workers son had this, but I still dont know much about this disease. I would call your dr.
i have read on yahoo answer s that it is and has happened but i have read equally as much info saying it is impossible. Im freaking out and cant eat sleep or think of anything elses. i dont want to give her warts. Thank you. !

Okay, since 1992 I have had lots of throat infections in 1995 I had my tonsils and adanoids removed to help however it never did. And still had aleast 7 throat infections and laryngitis a year but since January this year I have had 20suvere throat infections all with laryngitis.
However, a side effect of both medications is laryngitis. I recently had laryngitis for 6 weeks. It started as a virus and would not go a way. I decided it was my atrovent neb (an anticholinergic like Spiriva). My allergist thought it was my Dulera (inhaled combination med like Advair). I eliminated the atrovent and reduced my Dulera and the laryngitis healed.
She needs to discus any changes in dosage with her doctor before making changes.
Please tell me why these symptoms wont stop! What do I do, I am miserable for a month. Am I contagious even though no ob, just symptoms? Everybody says prodrome or ob doesnt last this long but I know my body and what I am feeling.
t start till June I can go to class next quarter Yahoo. Even if USC changes my mind about who does it I can still push it off till summer. I can't stay home I just can't.
I walked to the library without stopping and back (with a bathroom break and grabbed a couple of books inbetween) with the walker. I wasn't able to do it without stopping a lot 2 weeks ago. Yahoo. Oh and I started PT exercises on Thursday. It went well. I'm still working on getting off the walker.
I was wondering what some symptoms of herpes would be if the bumps are not obvious. Such as, pain, burning, etc. that can happen before a breakout. Also, is herpes that contagious if someone hasn't had a breakout in awhile? Is it always contagious? And how long will it take until I can get a blood test to test for it? Thanks!
s vagina, if it could be transferred so easily? Would washing my hands be enough? I unfortunately went to yahoo answers to look some stuff up and found that I could get it from all of that, but I do not trust that as much as I would hearing it from people on here that know more of what they are talking about.

This only happens when I’m experiencing high tightness and tension. Usually I wouldn’t go to the internet for answers but I recently lost my insurance due to my workplace cutting benefits so I can’t afford to go to a doctor or the hospital.
I’m just looking for reassurance that this is normal and nothing to be worried about. Is it just a sinus infection? Laryngitis? Pharyngitis? Epiglottitis? Hyoid bone syndrome?

I got really worried so I was referred to an ENT doctor, he said it was just reflux laryngitis since he examined it with an endoscopy. So he prescribed me amoxicillin for 7 days which helped a little but the bumps never went away. Sometimes, I would experience bad chills with no fever at all especially when I sleep. They would come back one day & another day, I would feel normal. I also noticed one white small tonsil stone above one of my tonsils.
As someone who is still recovering from acid reflux laryngitis, I will say that it took MONTHS for my voice to return. My laryngitis started in October 2009 and continued into April 2010 with slight improvements starting in late February. When I was first diagnosed as acid reflux causing my laryngitis, I was told it would take at least three months to get my voice back.
However I have been sick a few times since then and every time the virus turns straight into terrible laryngitis. Before the surgery I very rarely ever got laryngitis but now it comes on so easily and lasts for a while. Is there any reason that this would be connected to my thyroid surgery? Wondering if this is still part of the healing process or not? Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you!
In November-2nd week (after 11 weeks of the massage) I had a sore-throat for a few days followed by laryngitis. My doc said it was not bacterial but was some virus moving around and I could be contagious. I had 99 degrees fever and some mucous in my nose, throat.
1. My question is how risky is fingering for quarter-inch for 3 seconds?
2. Also are any of my symptoms consistent with ARS? Does ARS show itself with different symptoms weeks apart?
3. Should I get a HIV test?
