I have not had any other tests yet but does this mean I am contagious for hepatitis C and always will be? I read about people being cured, does that mean they are no longer contagious if someone touches their blood? This is so confusing to me.
Okay, since 1992 I have had lots of throat infections in 1995 I had my tonsils and adanoids removed to help however it never did. And still had aleast 7 throat infections and laryngitis a year but since January this year I have had 20suvere throat infections all with laryngitis.
However, a side effect of both medications is laryngitis. I recently had laryngitis for 6 weeks. It started as a virus and would not go a way. I decided it was my atrovent neb (an anticholinergic like Spiriva). My allergist thought it was my Dulera (inhaled combination med like Advair). I eliminated the atrovent and reduced my Dulera and the laryngitis healed.
She needs to discus any changes in dosage with her doctor before making changes.

I'm now during my syphilis treatment, which is quite harsh, got nerve system taken, so 2 weeks of penicilin i.v. and now lots of procaine penicilin i.m. and I wonder how long am I contagious? I'm afraid of psychical contact with my partner (he finished treatment exactly week ago).
I dont get the logic here since I have never heard of a case or complaint of catching warts from a massage parlor or beauty salon on the internet, and if warts were extremely contagious like its written in the articles it will probaly mean nearly all of the therapist or estheticians would be wearing latex gloves to protect themselves and their clients but this never happens.
I got really worried so I was referred to an ENT doctor, he said it was just reflux laryngitis since he examined it with an endoscopy. So he prescribed me amoxicillin for 7 days which helped a little but the bumps never went away. Sometimes, I would experience bad chills with no fever at all especially when I sleep. They would come back one day & another day, I would feel normal. I also noticed one white small tonsil stone above one of my tonsils.

It will occur if you come into direct contact with it, such as through saliva or shared articles of clothing. Molluscum can live outside the body on surfaces from 4 hours (dry, lighted areas) to 48 hours (dark, damp areas). You should definitely disinfect your house.

As someone who is still recovering from acid reflux laryngitis, I will say that it took MONTHS for my voice to return. My laryngitis started in October 2009 and continued into April 2010 with slight improvements starting in late February. When I was first diagnosed as acid reflux causing my laryngitis, I was told it would take at least three months to get my voice back.
However I have been sick a few times since then and every time the virus turns straight into terrible laryngitis. Before the surgery I very rarely ever got laryngitis but now it comes on so easily and lasts for a while. Is there any reason that this would be connected to my thyroid surgery? Wondering if this is still part of the healing process or not? Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you!
In November-2nd week (after 11 weeks of the massage) I had a sore-throat for a few days followed by laryngitis. My doc said it was not bacterial but was some virus moving around and I could be contagious. I had 99 degrees fever and some mucous in my nose, throat.
1. My question is how risky is fingering for quarter-inch for 3 seconds?
2. Also are any of my symptoms consistent with ARS? Does ARS show itself with different symptoms weeks apart?

I have developed a chronic dry cough & laryngitis, currently I have been dealing with symptoms for a month. There are many conditions which can cause difficulty in speaking at higher pitches. Voice misuse and overuse are common causes. Acute laryngitis caused by allergies, viral infection, chronic laryngitis and laryngoesophageal reflux all can cause hoarseness and voice difficulties. Rare but serious causes producing these symptoms are vocal cord paralysis and vocal cord tumours.Please see your Otolaryngologist (Ear, Nose, and Throat doctor) for an evaluation.
Will this be Herpes Laryngittis/ pharyngitis? will viral Laryngitis/Pharyngitis get relief from antibiotics as I was feeling well in a day after I took them. Will Herpes Laryngitis/Pharyngitis cause no sores in the mouth, tounge or lips? Is this some kind of bacterial infection or viral infection? Any suggestions highly appreciated. I took an appointment for next week with my ENT.I see the transmission rate of 4% with unprotected sex from female to male with HSV1 genitally.
I only did a little bit of research after you responded to my thread about seizures and it seems as though canine meningitis is different than the human type, so I think that you are fine, but ask your vet to double check.
For my info, what other symptoms than seizures did your dog have?

It could be due to varied causes like upper respiratory tract infection like laryngitis or pharyingitis, head and neck cancer, oral cancer, reflux laryngitis in people who have acidity and GERD, muscle abnormality, voice box abnormality, polyps, tumors or weakness of voice box etc.
