If a patient complains of a sudden cough with gag reflex along with decreased hearing
and ringing in the ears, vocal chord paralysis,
laryngitis,
night sweats. (Patient has a history and previous diagnosis of Smouldering Multiple Myeloma High risk.)
CT Scan with contrast reveals a 6 mm Basilar Artery Aneurysm, forward to Neurosurgeon, NS says no link between present symptoms and aneurysm. Forward to ENT. ENT say use Flonaise, irritants/allergens most likely cause of present symptoms.
