My doc prescribed me Lansoprazole gastro resistant as there has been blood in my vomit recently. Has anyone taken it or know anything about it?

Almost after every time I eat, within a few hours or sometimes minutes, I'm feeling sick, stomach has bloated and in agony, my burps taste of sick and either I end up being sick or its the other end. I used to be so regular and now I'm not. If I don't go within a day, the next I burp the taste of rotting food. I've been to the doctors & everything has come back fine.
ve visited gave me antiacid medication as well as gastro resistant capsules (omeprazole, lansoprazole, gaviscon, buscopan) and I never felt better, sometimes even worse.
Last days the pain got really worse and I ended up in the hospital but they gave me only codeine and paracetamol and via my GP organized scan and endoscopy.
Went back to the doctor, who told me I probably wouldnt want an endoscopy and put my on LANSOPRAZOLE to block acid. I still get these weird spasms. I'm kind of troubled they didnt bother to do an endoscopy. Could this be a serious problem, should I change doctors? He did take a chest xray of the gas in my body and said it all looked normal ( no odd shapes ) uhmm I guess he is the best doctor in town.
I have been taking a PPI (lansoprazole) for about 10 years for GERD, but I have been diagnosed with pangastritis and hiatus hernia, so why do I get no relief from these by taking a PPI? Just curious!
prescribed the triple therapy that consist of Lansoprazole, Clarithromycin, and Amoxicillin. The problem is that she told me to take only one pill of of Amoxicillin (500 mg) every 12 hours but its supposed to be two pills (1g) every 12 hours, and I already finished the cycle. Now I am very concerned because I know that this bacteria becomes resistant to antibiotics. What should I do?, how long should I wait before I take another H. Pylori test?
they say its indigestion but i am on lansoprazole which by the way i have never had indigestion the way they describe it. the pain in my chest goes all the way to my arm, jaw and even my throat.if all the tests are saying my heart is ok then what could it be.. i am not stressed or anxiuos by the way as i have a very loving a supportive family system and husband... what could it be.. please help

I have been using PPI medication Omeprazole until early this year where I got switched to Lansoprazole which I also got diagnosed with silent reflux (LPR) due to loosing my voice. I also take Gaviscon Advanced 3-4 times a day for the acid and heartburn.
My lifestyle changed due to these diagnoses I eat more healthily and exercise more to try and keep the weight healthy.
I am to have my three year check up due to the Barrett's of the Oesophagus.
what I wanted to know is ...... both of these are resistant to antibiotics......are they both resistant to penecillins and if so is there any point in ever giving her penecillin antibiotics for any infection over the years or should we use a different family of antibiotics? In other words ....could she be inherently/genetically (probably wrong words) resistant to penecillin?????
Poor mite also has had chicken pox, hepatitis A, chest infection for at least 5 weeks but now gone thank god.
I've been dealing with gerd issues for the last half year. Colonoscopy and endoscopy were negative. I did do a series of rolling barium stomach xray which did show my stomach was on a roller coaster ride. I've been on most of the meds for gerd, from Zantac to Nexium to Lansoprazole to Pantoprazole. I would not accept the diagnosis of GERD from a GP. You need to get a referral to a Gastro Enterologist and have an Endoscopy (camera to look into your esophagus and deodenum) and then GI Specialist can tell you WHY you have GERD - Hiatal Hernia or LES dysfunction? and see if the GERD has caused any damage or if there are Barrets Esophagus sells, etc.
You are age 51? that is enough reason to get an Endoscopy as you are at a risky age.
I am very concerned because I know that this bacteria becomes resistant to antibiotics. What should I do?, How long do I wait before I take another test to see if the bacteria is gone or not? How long will it be before I can repeat the treatment in case the bacteria is still there? Please Help!!!
Anyway, a month later, (yesterday) I was prescribed lansoprazole but I have done some research and it says lansoprazole can cause kidney failure. Should I take these tablets or wait till Friday and get a second opinion from the hospital on my assessment?

Two years ago I started to get laryngitis alot.
You should first know I've had Gastro problems for the last 10-12 years of my life. I'm 43 year old female. Had my gall bladder removed 3 years ago after a severe attack. I felt "better" for a while but then started having gastro problems again. The problems have intensified and now there are times I can't function properly. I've always had problems with constipation then I have bouts of diarrhea.
I had 3 operations in the first 5 years without success (it just came back) but a breakthrough came 4 years ago when my ENT specialist put me on lansoprazole, a PPI, believing that it was probably due to acid reflux (although I had no symptoms). The granuloma disappeared over the next 6 months.
However, it sometimes comes back, or at least the symptoms do, every few months, but go again after 2 or 3 weeks. But over the last week or so symptoms have come back with a vengeance.
pylori after having a breath test done, and have been prescribed by my doctor - lansoprazole 30 mg - metronidazole 400 mg - amoxicillin 500 mg. All three medacation taken twice a day for a 7 day course.I am now into the 5 th day of taking them.There seems to be no side effects, the problems of bloating,discomfort (painfull at times) that comes and goes througout the day,has not eased at all.
If these combanation of tablets were going to work,would my symptons have eased by now ?.
m back on Ranitidine as the side affects of Lansoprazole were unpleasant and just as bad or worse as the GERD. When I stopped taking Lansoprazole I had bad symptoms for a few days but they subsided. However since then my Acid Reflux / GERD has been more or less what it was before starting Lansoprazole. Some days its worse than others.
I've also read about the negative side effects of PPI drugs.
I was diagnosed with a duodenal ulcer back in February 2010.
History:
Prior to the diagnosis I had felt a strange pressure in my stomach occasionally which started around October 2009. I probably should have gone to the doctor when I was feeling the swelling/pressure but I thought it was just from being cramped into the Miata I had just purchased. I bought the car because some guy ran a red light and hit my previous car.
