t ask for any particular generic brand. But what I got was Mylan. I have taken Teva and other brands before, but the mylan seems to do next to nothing. if I were to take one mg of Teva my anxiety woud be relieved for the morning. I cant tell that mylan is doing anything. Can I take my bottle back and demand another brand. They can throw the mylan away and give me something that works or Ill find another pharmacy.
I have recently started the patch and have found a difference between effectiveness of the two brands TEVA and MYLAN. First I had Teva 12mcg/72hrs (twice) then 2X 12mcg/72 (twice) and then went to 50mcg patches on the 72hr interval, so far twice. The 25mcg patches are Mylan brand and I noticed, pretty quickly, a decrease in effectiveness. Has anyone else?
My pharmacy says I can specify... otherwise the script will be filled with Mylan.
Except I was given a brand called Aveva, Distrubited by Teva and its a Nitto Denka Co. Never heard of this brand. I did a search here and nothing came up except the Teva generic of clonipin.
Last month, my first month on the patch, I was using the Mylan brand and I was switched to every 48 hours. But after reading the archives here, some people were not very happy with the brand. (not all, some) Im just wondering if that brand is why they faded so bad at 60 hours.
I'm on the 75 mcg Fentanyl patch now for a while. In the beginning it didn't seem to come off. Lately, the edges seem to unstick. It also buckles. It's pretty big, even the pain clinic NP thought it was large. She didn't write for any particular brand. I think it's manufactured by Watson. It has the gel inside.
I really like it for the pain control but it bugs me that it doesn't stick. I've put it on my arm on different spots and now tried it on my chest.
I have taken been taking Alprazolam .5 mg Mylan brand for years. My drugstore recently switched to Sandoz brand which gave me heartburn. The drugstore switched again to Dava brand which brought on anxiety and nervousness. One last try with the pharmacy and they gave me Greenstone which is causing sleep problems, mainly insomnia. Is the Mylan brand no longer available? And are the side affects above possible since they are supposed to all have the same active ingredients. Is it the filler?
I think Mallinkropt is not producing for some reason maybe in protest at lawsuits. By the way Alvogen costs the pharmacy $150 more for 15 patches than mylan. Mylan is manufactured in WV and Alvogen in California. Imho mylan is junk at least for me. I also use hydrocodone for breakthrough pain and one manufacturer of that generic makes me sick to my stomach. We are all different and should be able to get what works best for us.

The only other possible scenario I have come with is that the circumstances of the allergy, the blisters and burned skin, triggered my original ailment, my genetic condition, to worsen, causing even greater abdominal pain for several days and challenging the ability of the patch and dilaudid used for breakthrough to meet the elevated demands of such pain.
If you take off a Mylan Brand patch and you stick it to something, Can you reuse that same patch days later? Someone has advised me to use two old ones at the same time to equal one new one, but this definitely didn't sound right? If anyone can help I would be most grateful. pylori after having a breath test done, and have been prescribed by my doctor - lansoprazole 30 mg - metronidazole 400 mg - amoxicillin 500 mg. All three medacation taken twice a day for a 7 day course.I am now into the 5 th day of taking them.There seems to be no side effects, the problems of bloating,discomfort (painfull at times) that comes and goes througout the day,has not eased at all.
If these combanation of tablets were going to work,would my symptons have eased by now ?.

I have been on the Mylan Brand patch now for 7 years, just recently changed to the Johnson&johnson brand due to having no insurance, because the Mylan were $270 per month and the J&J are at no cost to me. I'm having a hard time finding this brand in any drug store in my area. I live in Southern Maine, South Berwick, Maine to be exact. Now, this particular script is Mylan. I actually feel noticeably less fatigued from waking, throughout the day. This is just after a week or two of this script, so hopefully my symptoms keep improving.

Anyway, a month later, (yesterday) I was prescribed lansoprazole but I have done some research and it says lansoprazole can cause kidney failure. Should I take these tablets or wait till Friday and get a second opinion from the hospital on my assessment?
I went to see my doctor and I was prescribed Ranitadine (Zantac) and sent for an H. Pylori blood test, followed by an Upper GI xray series including follow through. This is when they found the duodenal ulcer (feb 2010). The H. Pylori test came back negative.

You keep mentioning not to take generics, but when I took synthroid I had a horrible reaction the first day and had to go back on levothyroxine manufactured by lannett.. I agree with you, but on only pill of synthroid within an hour I was standing in the kitchen and had a head rush, body rush, then became dizzy and lost my balance. I also had diarreha the next morning. Took me a week to get over that sensation. So, what should I do and why such a concern about generics?
I use the Mylan Fentanyl patches and wonder if they can be cut to help with tapering. I see a Pain Doc Specialist for my back and chronic pain...last disc replacement was in October 2013. All my meds are from him and used as prescribed, I'm just interested in getting through this weaning process quicker you know? I keep getting differing opinions online. Thank you for your help.
m back on Ranitidine as the side affects of Lansoprazole were unpleasant and just as bad or worse as the GERD. When I stopped taking Lansoprazole I had bad symptoms for a few days but they subsided. However since then my Acid Reflux / GERD has been more or less what it was before starting Lansoprazole. Some days its worse than others.
I've also read about the negative side effects of PPI drugs.
