Serious lansoprazole side effects

Other serious lansoprazole side effects include breathing problems, difficulty swallowing and hoarseness.
I take ranitidine and recently switched from lansoprazole to pansoprazole after 1 year. For the past 4 years I've had short periods where I stutter, ranging from a few days to a few weeks. I really don't think it's a concern, but lately the period of normal speech has been less and less and my family is concerned. I just visited my pediatrician and didn't think to mention this. I don't have any neurological or psychological disorders, although I do have very bad anxiety.
Anyway, a month later, (yesterday) I was prescribed lansoprazole but I have done some research and it says lansoprazole can cause kidney failure. Should I take these tablets or wait till Friday and get a second opinion from the hospital on my assessment?
I had 3 operations in the first 5 years without success (it just came back) but a breakthrough came 4 years ago when my ENT specialist put me on lansoprazole, a PPI, believing that it was probably due to acid reflux (although I had no symptoms). The granuloma disappeared over the next 6 months.
However, it sometimes comes back, or at least the symptoms do, every few months, but go again after 2 or 3 weeks. But over the last week or so symptoms have come back with a vengeance.
pylori after having a breath test done, and have been prescribed by my doctor - lansoprazole 30 mg - metronidazole 400 mg - amoxicillin 500 mg. All three medacation taken twice a day for a 7 day course.I am now into the 5 th day of taking them.There seems to be no side effects, the problems of bloating,discomfort (painfull at times) that comes and goes througout the day,has not eased at all.
If these combanation of tablets were going to work,would my symptons have eased by now ?.
m back on Ranitidine as the side affects of Lansoprazole were unpleasant and just as bad or worse as the GERD. When I stopped taking Lansoprazole I had bad symptoms for a few days but they subsided. However since then my Acid Reflux / GERD has been more or less what it was before starting Lansoprazole. Some days its worse than others.
I've also read about the negative side effects of PPI drugs.
My doc prescribed me Lansoprazole gastro resistant as there has been blood in my vomit recently. Has anyone taken it or know anything about it?

History:
Prior to the diagnosis I had felt a strange pressure in my stomach occasionally which started around October 2009. I probably should have gone to the doctor when I was feeling the swelling/pressure but I thought it was just from being cramped into the Miata I had just purchased. I bought the car because some guy ran a red light and hit my previous car.
I wondered about thyroid but the nurse practitioner said it was good. Could a milk allergy or absorption problem cause these symptoms? He talked later than normal and had speech therapy for a year. His speech is good now but misses still a couple of letters. thriving in school just seems to be tired and pale a lot of the time. He is the first to fall asleep. He does eat mostly what I give him. He does eat a variety of foods. He perplexes me. We have 6 kids and I am an LPN.
Are there recomended diets for people who cant reabsorb bile? Is colestid safe long term, I heard it affects vitamin K absorption? ANyone out there going through the same as me?
It is as if the antibiotics effected the stomach lining, perhaps killing bacteria and healing it such that the vagus nerve endings are better protected. If that is not what was happening then perhaps the antibiotics were effecting the absorption of essential minerals that my nervous system may be lacking. I am looking for any explanations that someone in the medical profession has to offer. My GP just doesn't have a clue. Are there any tests that make sense to have done?
So she went to the doctors and prescribed Lansoprazole. About a week and a half after the Lansoprazole was prescribed she started to shake. And for about a half a week now its been getting worse and worse. Now she is also having trouble seeing, and is experiencing ear ache's and headaches. While she is still shaking. ve been to see the doctor and they have put me on lansoprazole temporarily to see if this makes any changes but I've been on these for 2-3 weeks and still no difference. The bloating is fairly constant and I feel like my stomach hasn't been completely flat since it started but it is particularly bad after eating (no matter the size portion) to the point where I feel and look pregnant and I can't wear my jeans.

Headache with nausea can be due to migraine, pinched cervical nerve, severe acidity and benign intracranial hypertension. BIH happens due to impaired CSF absorption. A generalized throbbing headache worst felt in the morning and last thing at night. This headache is generally relieved on standing (consistent with raised intracranial pressure). It is aggravated by straining, coughing or a change in position. You have a similar headache.
Went back to the doctor, who told me I probably wouldnt want an endoscopy and put my on LANSOPRAZOLE to block acid. I still get these weird spasms. I'm kind of troubled they didnt bother to do an endoscopy. Could this be a serious problem, should I change doctors? He did take a chest xray of the gas in my body and said it all looked normal ( no odd shapes ) uhmm I guess he is the best doctor in town.
I went to the doctor who imedietly suggested it could be an ulcer and prescribed me 30mg Lansoprazole, which I took for and immediately this sensation vanished no matter what I ate.
they say its indigestion but i am on lansoprazole which by the way i have never had indigestion the way they describe it. the pain in my chest goes all the way to my arm, jaw and even my throat.if all the tests are saying my heart is ok then what could it be.. i am not stressed or anxiuos by the way as i have a very loving a supportive family system and husband... what could it be.. please help

Has doubled the dose of Lansoprazole which has not made too much difference really. I have completely adjusted my diet having bought fantastic book "Dropping Acid - The Reflux Diet Cookbook & Cure". The coughing is less severe and I am not doing the sleep apnea thing now, which is an improvement. Throat is less sore and have been drinking aloe vera. However, am now experiencing constant tight chest; sudden head pains, extreme tiredness; dizziness & hot spells.
