IMHO be careful with taking any added Vit C without your doctor's ok. Too much Vit C can cause kidney stones .. I'd be leary.
I had Renal Colic which lasted about 30hrs,pain but amazing pelvic pressure,constant peeing,blood in the water and small clots on whiping. I know l passed a stone or stones as at one stage on peeing l felt really strong contracting like feeings in my uretha and looked down to see brown stains/streaks in the toilet. I have a question from the opposite angle.. I had been told l- arginine would be of help releasing nitric oxide in the blood to help with male erection/orgasm ..however, that arginine shouldn't be taken by those with hsv1/2 because it can provoke an outbreak. Can you debunk this ? I would love to take arginine if it can help at all !
I think u for the feedback and l agree,how will l pass it?? l can't. I think the Doc is thinking well it's not obstructing and so it might sit there forever,right after the attack l have already had etc (l'm sure l must hve been passing a stone then) and with a slight protrubence in my right kidney pelvis (what could that be), l think l'd be very lucky that this sucker will sit still and not cause problems.

Yesterday I went into the ER, l was having horrible pain on my right side right under my rib. They did a cat scan and xray and told me that I have tw kidney stones one in each kidney. I still have no pain on my right side and am wondering if I ever will or if it will just disappear? Secondly the pain on my left side got worse over night, it has moved down a little and wrapped around to my back. The pain is bearable and then out of nowhere unbearable and worse in my back.
Well, I've searched a lot and all I've found is that L-arginine can make herpes (HSV) replicate and get worse. But I haven't found a study saying that it could be the same with HPV.
I bought a protein supplement of egg protein and I've read that it has lysine and lutein which seems to have a good effect in the clearance of HPV, but it also has L-Arginine and there are mixed opinions about it... Anyone has tried it with success?

I take a multi vitamin as well as L-Arginine, Zinc and Saw Palmetto. I was wondering if anyone has any concrete evidence that the L-Arginine especially has any negative effects on my condition (causes/exacerbates) breakouts etc. I also currently use vitamin E liquid topically and have been trying to live as healthy a life style as possible. I like taking the L-arginine for the muscle building properties but I am willing to stop taking it if it makes my HPV worse.
