Hi all, so I'm 21 weeks tomorrow with my 3rd Peruzz pregnancy. Twice now, I have been woken up by an awful stabbing cramp in my left leg. When I bend down to feel where the pain is, I can feel a knot of muscle which doesn't go until I stretch it out. This knot appears where I have varicose veins. (The varicose veins are non pregnancy related) I now prop a pillow behind me to prevent this happening.
t seem to be on the penis or on the vein but somewhere inside near the base of the left side of the penis. In other words its perhaps at base or closer to left side of penis as i feel and perhaps not on the penis itself.Also it is not in the left side of scrotum but only on the upper of the left side of penis as i have told before.

I noticed one new, visible vein on the left side of my penis, and that the other veins that were before only slightly visible had now become much more prominent and bulging. And this is when I'm not hard. When I have erection these veins are not so visible, unless I'm standing: then they ugly pop up to the surface (hasn't happened before, not this much at least).
m getting night time erections now its hurting in that area and erections in General are really painful (but it seems in a very specific spot around the left hand side of the gland and slightly onto the shaft underneath).
I was just wondering please If I explain to my doctor will this make sense of what the problem might be ?

Is the weather warming up too? Your veins get way more noticeable in warm weather and if you've lost some weight with all that stress, you will notice them even more.
You could be getting some ankle/feet swelling from your varicose veins due to the warm weather.
Anxiety will take any normal physical sensation and pick away at it, until that is all you can feel. Everyone can feel their veins in hot weather if they concentrate, I reckon.

It may actually still be varicose veins which is common in 1 in 3 adults. For most people, a bulging vein is truly harmless. Unsightly, perhaps.
m a 56 year old male. ve been to two different neurologists, two pain clinics and seen my primary doctor about 15 times. On my last visit with the pain specialist, he asked why no one had pursued the issue of my varicose veins. He said that there are collegen defects that effect the veins and I could have these type of veins in my head causing the headaches. Do you think this could be the case?

I do have a varicocele on the left side of my scrotum but these new veins are different. About a week and a half ago i had about 4 or 5 sharp pains in my scrotum. I had mild discomfort in my scrotum until yesterday and almost had a bloated feeling in my lower abdomen. My morning erections also stopped about three days ago which is very rare. I was wondering if there is some correlation between these new veins and the disappearance of the morning erections.
Large veins with varicose appearance along the shaft of the penis and many spider veins under the glans and under the urethra (not in the urethra, just below, I have not painful urination or anything like that).
At first I started to worry a little about the appearance but I didn't feel discomfort, just one side of the shaft a little bit irritated.
