I have been having a light headedness which m sure is linked to playing online games, I suffer with stress anxiety and playing these games takes my mind off stuff, but just recently my head goes fuzzy, last 1 I ended up wit like a migraine, anyone else suffer, ive stopped playing the games I did to c if it eases off

I had a knee replacement a year ago and am having pain. I was curious . . . how did they know the glue was deteriorating? Did they do an MRI? I just had and MRI and have been told it could be "mild loosening, bone stress reaction, or stress response". My Dr.'s onlt response was, if it's bad enough redo the knee replacement surgery. How long ago was your replacement surgery?

I'm looking for advice and insight into whether or not I should progress with a meniscal allograft transplant surgery to my left knee. I'm a 28 year old male and played competitive soccer continuously for 20 years until I tore my ACL.
After the injury, I had an MRI and was told I had fully ruptured my ACL and also damaged the meniscus and had a deep lateral femoral bone bruise.
Are you on bed rest? Not trying to sound rude just wondering why you can't do stuff for yourself? If he just had knee surgery he has to take it very easy it's extremely easy to damage the knee again. Also it's sad but men who are into their video games don't tend to change much but like you said he was like it before to so it is something you knew about him maybe everything just seems worse because the surgery and you have extra hormones going on while pregnant.

a year ago i was 85 kgs i used to run to loose weight n i use to run 5kms daily though i reduced my weight but due to pressure on my knees i got knee pain in my left leg .i went to doctor then for MRI on his advice the MRI says
FINDINGS ARE SUGGESTIVE OF GRADE 1 INTERAMENISCAL TEAR IN THE POSTERIOR HORN OF THE MEDIAL MINISCUS AND MILD SYNOVIAL EFFUSION apart from this everything was fineLATERAL MENISCUS was NORMAL.BOTH ACL &PCL ARE NORMAL.
t do online games...sometimes I even have a hard time with xbox...just not as bad as online gaming. I think lack of real people has something to do with it.
What I'm trying to say is that they will have to realize they have a problem and chances are they aren't going to want to believe it. It's an addiction that is rarely mentioned especially since computers are so much a part of our everyday lives.

The impression I had from what the surgeon said beforehand and what I read online is that this is relatively minor surgery and one can expect some pain associated with the surgery, but not limited range of motion. The day after his op he was taken for x-rays and put in a wheelchair, but as his legs were swung off the bed and bent 70 degrees he cried out in pain and almost fainted. It is now a week after surgery and his pain is still severe when bending his knees.

I was bone on bone as well on my knee. Before surgery, I had to stop and sit in-between shaving! Now, I cut some palm branches off my palm tree yesterday at about one hour of standing and today washed and worked on my car at two hours of standing. NO knee pain whatsoever! This, after 6 months. The only caveat is the doctor said he does not want more than 23 degrees bending of the knee. Naturally, I cheat a little...
Being able to talk about gaming is important with kids. And my teens do online board games too since covid like catan . . . everyone stays at their own house, wears headphones and plays on their pc. Some kids are into sports. Some are into theatre. My kids use snap chat which I had been against but really, I had the most conservative parent in the world say to me "kids without cell phones and the commonly used apps are on an island socially now . . ." which I took to heart.
About 7 months after my dog had a TPLO surgery to her left back leg, she started limping on the right one too...
We were told that she needed TPLO surgery on that leg also.
However, I have been searching online and found out that TPLO is perhaps not the only solution (even for a 80 lbs. dog...) and I believe I now found a good vet that has given us more options beside TPLO but I would need a further opinion...
Been a long time reader but now a first time poster.
Long story short...I'm a mid 40's guy with 2 small children and great wife. I had many surgeries mostly back & knees over the last 25 years mostly due to being a collegiate & semi-pro athlete. Over the last 4 yrs I have been taking hydrocodone 10/325 (4-6 a day) & I'm done being a slave to these things. It has slowly degraded my life over them 4 yrs making me less the dad than I should be.
Yes surgery is the last option. Ergonomics and position while sitting, working and sleeping is very important. Wear proper footwear and change to proper positions and a simple correction in lifestlye will also help. Discuss about all the options of Physical therapy, which varies from case to case near your neurologist. Take care!
Find anything you can to keep your mind occupied, maybe things you enjoy. Playing games online? Movies? XBox? etc.
