Hi, I just received the MRI results for my right knee. It shows to have: "Myxoid degeneration of medial meniscus posterior horn with knee joint effusion and suspected partial tear of the anterior cruciate ligament for which clinical correlation is adviced". I get only right knee MRI due to its cost, but I'm suffering of similar pain on both knees. What does this mean? Is there any treatment I can do at home to relief the pain? Thanks!
m meeting w/my GI doctor at the end of May to discuss the new drugs for beginning treatment and was wondering if the doctor will discuss treatment costs with me or do I need to find this kind of information out myself? If I don't have prescription coverage or co-pays will all expenses be out of pocket or will it be applied to my deductible? I don't have the greatest insurance and don't know what the new meds will cost yet. Any and all information is appreciated!
In some ways I feel better than before treatment (more energy, less fatigue, more stamina, less muscle and joint and spine pain), although I do still have some annoying side effects (like rash). But I know the side effects will lesson and I will gradually feel even better.
It is not advisable to drink alcohol while on treatment. But after treatment, whether you drink a beer now and then in moderation, probably depends on the state of your liver.
I had a meniscus injury almost 2years ago a tear in left knee due to gym exercise while doing thighs exercise and from that time I was exercising my legs and their was no more pain after nearly 8 month , just yesterday I did the same movement once again and I hearted a pop in the same knee and a little pain with a bending movement in the same place after examining it by my self by pressing on the spot is it possible that the tear had happened once again ...

Almost a year ago the physician and I agreed to having a total knee replacement done thinking that the pain would subside. That was a joke! The pain is still just as bad as day one. I go back to the doctor in April and it doesn't look like it will be good news for him. Now I will have to have surgery on the Left knee joint. I will wait for that though. I don't know what I am looking for in treatment now or if any!

Hello- After many, many acupuncture treatments, last week I had a treatment for knee arthritis in which I felt excruciating pain with a needle insertion below my knee and my foot kicked up simultaneously. Four days later, I have increasing burning and electricity pains radiating down the front of my shin along the tops of my feet. It also feels as though someone were slicing into my ankle or a very, very bad ankle sprain.
My knee pops all the time, sometimes loud enough you can hear it. The pain is below the knee cap on the left and right side and ontop of the knee cap on the right side and on the inside of the knee from above the knee to below the knee. For the last week and a half I've been getting sharp pains on the right inside of the knee and above the knee while walking or turning from right to left. When this happens the pain is so bad that I can hardly walk.
Really can't stick this pain much longer !! Having really bad pain in both knees can't walk up stairs or down hurts to bed or even sit someone help !!
I went to dr he says I have a cyst from my knee to my ankle deep inside from a fall He sent me to a specialist who wants me to do physical therapy for a month and then if Ican come up with $1000.he will do a MRI to check it further. I am walking with crutches as it hurts terribly.
