Like the original post noted, I had only the nose pain and swelling outside the nose, not inside. No nasal congestion, no clogged sinuses. Just a very sharp pain in the nose that seemed almost to be in the bone and cartilage, hurting mostly over the bridge and traveling down to the tip of the nose, as if my nose was broken. But I hadn't had any injury to my face.
I've been on an antibiotic, Cephalexin, for 10 days and the pain is nearly all gone.
Two days back suddenly for no apparent reason, I felt sick, tired and stiff all over my body. I went to doc and found BP 100/70. Since then I am continuing to feel stiff, tired, knee pain upon walking, and moving sluggish. Sometimes chest pain on left side, possibly gas, with no symptoms in left arm. I was advised to increase fluid, prescribed multivitamin, and told to take paracetamol if I get a fever. First day there was no fever, but since yesterday I am having fever to 99.
When i am sitting on a chair and i straighten my left leg the pain occurs, and there must be something wrong because my right knee is fine. I also get the pain when i am lying in bed. The pain is most apparent when i lift my left knee cap, you know how you can tense or whatever and your knee cap will move up.sometimes along with the pain i get twitching in my knee, i dont know what it is that twitches, but sometimes its rapid twitching that passes quickly.

I do not but am a physical therapist that had a patient experiencing this recently. She had a 2 year history of chronic headaches with no diagnosis despite multiple scans. She was sent to me for thigh muscle strain that appeared the morning after sitting crosslegged on the floor painting. Pain initially was in her left thigh and groin then progressed to involve the right thigh and groin.
I have been having ear aches for over a year now and I don't know why. I was examined by a specialist, but he couldn't find a reason. In the beginning, it happened when I listened to music with headphones, so I stopped doing that, but now it happens for no apparent reason. By the way it's just in one ear.

Also I started to have some pain in the right leg, for no apparent reason. The pain is similar to muscle soreness but feels different. The strange thing is that it started in a small spot (on inner thigh above the knee) and it spread throughout the entire leg, the right buttock included.
Now on the fourth day the symptoms are starting to subside but I'm still wondering what the problem is and if I should get myself tested.
ve never injured my knee in any way. The episodes seem to come for no apparent reason and typically last for 3 days. The pain is so intense that I cannot work or even stand for those 3 days. In fact, I roll around moaning and screaming when the episode is at its peak. It feels like electric shocks which hit every 2-3 seconds during the 3-day attack. However, there is no swelling or any other outside indication of a problem within my knee.
I started not feeling good in October after a touch of the flu. I had fast, hard heart beat, was shaky and lightheaded, and very tired. I could sleep all night, get up, get my girls off to school then sleep all day long, then repeat. I went to the ER twice with the palpitations. The dr said it was axiety. First thyroid test was normal. Second test it was .07. The dr ordered thyroid ultrasound and uptake scan. Two very small nodules were found on the ultrasound.
I have minimal swelling above the knee cap but no redness, warmth or presence of a fever. The pain is worse when I am sitting, climbing or coming down stairs, and extending the knee from 90 to 180 degrees. I have major weakness in the joint when standing (almost feels like it's going to "give out" if that makes sense). In the past 3 weeks it has started "popping" when I attempt to extend it. It cracks and makes funny grinding noises.
In 71 years, I’ve NEVER had knee pain in either knee, and no other changes have occurred in my daily routines. Just a normal, older, bald, overweight person.
The specific question I’m looking for information on is whether using heel wedges in footwear to help with supination can cause knee problems. Now for lots of boring history.
In September 2022 I was found to supinate (walk on the outside of my feet).
Pain on site at back. Also high pain, burning on left hip, stomach, behind knee. Friday morning noticed third patch of bumps on thigh (more inward) and an increase of bumps on first set of thigh bumps. No blisters yet, no apparent fluid or breakage. Was covered with band-aids prior to increased spread. Still experiencing chills, lack of appetite, upset stomach (may be from valtrex), possible fever still. Question: how long will this spread before moving on to whatever the next stage is?
