Avatar n tn SO I AM HAVING PRETTY EXTREME PAIN ONLY WHEN KNEEING ON LEFT KNEE--USUALLY DOMINATE KNEE THAT I ALWAYS KNEE ON WITH ALL MY WIEGHT ON FIRST. DOESNT HURT TO WALK ON OR BEND OR ANY OTHER MOTION. RECENTLY I CAN FEEL SENSATIONS FROM A LITTLE BELOW MY KNEE LIKE "PINS AND NEEDLES" BUT VERY SLIGHT. I CAN LIGHTLY TOUCH BELOW CENTER OF KNEE AND FEEL SAME PAIN WITH VERY LITTLE PRESSURE LIKE A SLIGHT RUB.
Avatar m tn ve started getting a slight aching pain in my right knee. My doctor said to get better shoes with strong support and cushioning and lose weight it will get better, the shoes has helped but the pain its still there when l walk and put weight on my foot and knee. l am OK walking short disatances , but it gets painful if l walk longer then 15 minutes . l know losing weight is the solution but its difficult as l cant do much walking but l am on a diet and slowly losing weight but it takes time.
Avatar f tn Where is the pain? I have sciatic nerve pain occasionally and it shoots from the top of my butt cheek down my thigh. I have been doing stretches and walking for exercise and it seems to have slacked off a bit.
3205586 tn?1362842985 LOL the desire to be taller started when i was in primary school, I was always the smallest kid at school, lol i celebrated reaching 5ft. You know if your a shortie, everything you buy is always too long, so heels of every colour, hight and style are a staple for your wardrobe lol though i'm pretty sure that even with out the mobility issues, i wouldn't wear the sky scraper heels DD and her friends wear, ugg they are deadly.
Avatar n tn I had my knee partiallly replaced on the inside of knee. Was in a lot of pain in bursa sac area and along incision. My ortho tried 3 injections and the nerve continued to intensely burn, twirl and I felt like something cold was running down the inside of my calf. I felt this 24-7. 1 month ago the Dr. reopened the incision and clipped the nerve. I am now experiencing not as intense burning but like their are more nerves being hot. Will this go away.?
Avatar m tn Hi! Since the pain and snapping sound and feeling of strain is persisting for a year, please consult your doctor. Since there was a kick at the back of the knee, you could be suffering from 'popliteus tendinitis'. The other such inflammatory tendinitis conditions giving pain at the back of knee on inner or outer side (along with possible ankle joint pain) are Hamstrings tendinitis and Gastrocnemius muscle tendenitis.
Avatar m tn My four years kid lately is suffering from knee pain started on one knee then for both knees and sometimes he cries. He loves soccer. He is having soccer training in the club 3 times weekly for about 1:30 hours each session and he wears soccer shoes from about 4 months.
314554 tn?1337454119 (Female 46 yr) My podiatrist examined the Morton's Neuromas on both of my feet about year ago. He made my orthotics and I wear ShockDoctor orthotics in some of my other shoes. At one time, I had several knee and tibia "injuries" that were biomechanical in nature from overtraining on the stairmaster and the occasional use/misuse of sports performance & pain meds (no longer use).
Avatar f tn I have been told by my GP just to rest for a wk or two until the swelling goes down but it is still there as is the pain on the stairs. I have pain in the shoulder and lower back. I am trying to exercise as much as the pain allows but my walking is greatly affected at the moment. I hate being like this, both my mam and grandmother had osteo and rhumatoidarthritis. Any advice would be received with thanks, I hope you are well and have found a way to manage the condition.
Avatar f tn My doctor told me to wear knee braces whenever I am going to be on my feet a lot. The knee braces help a little but they drive me crazy. My doctor told me that I need to have knee surgery on both of my knees in order to prevent it from getting worse. I have refused the surgery and now two years later they are hurting worse than ever.
Avatar m tn About a month ago I started having heel pain like they were bruised, about a 12 days ago I started having calf pain in my left leg, about 6 days ago my left knee started hurting and swelling in the middle back and front top left of knee, now I notice that leg looks a little bigger from the knee down and my socks leave deeper indentations than my right leg.
Avatar f tn I tripped over last sunday and landed on my right knee and hand, once I got over the initial shock/pain of tripping over it hasn't really hurt but it has a big bruise and I get a pinching feeling when I bend my knee too much (eg when climbing down long flights of stairs and when putting my shoes on). Is it safe to assume there's nothing wrong and all it needs is time?
Avatar f tn I was fitted for orthotic shoes from there, and that has GREATLY decreased my foot/arch and knee/hip pain, and also helps with posture, and I'm sure many other things I just have not noticed or cannot put my finger on. What symptoms do you have that the ENT thinks you have TMJ problems??? You may need to see a neurologist.
Avatar f tn I’m 52, have had left leg pain (hip area down to ankle) left hip is painful to touch, aching in left leg, pain in knee and stiffness in left knee ( low mobility in knee ). Doctor said my reflexes are overactive. I’ve had MRI cervical, MRI lumbar ( nothing conclusive ). Also having bladder issues. Recurring UTIs or what feels like UTI, bladder control issues and urinary frequency.
Avatar f tn I spoke to my mum about this a while ago and she says that it is from wearing skinny jeans and flat shoes, which made sense to me so I was more careful with what I wore. I now wear shoes with more structure to them and the pain seems to be less regular. However, just before it all started happening I knew someone who would dig his fingers into the back of my knees as I stood up.
18043065 tn?1462649991 I have the oddest pain that is only reproducible by one action - crossing my right leg up onto my left leg/slightly above the knee, while seated, as I do to change shoes. I have poked, prodded, pushed and examined and nothing abnormal is there. I can't reproduce the pain any other way. There is no bruising, swelling, orthopedic problems or history of any injury. It only happens when I change shoes.
Avatar f tn I highly highly suggest people research them, and I highly recommend them to anyone with knee and back pain.
Avatar n tn Hello, I posted a question earlier but am not sure if it is here, so forgive me if there are two posts. I am having pain in my left foot, calf, knee and thigh. I have some discomfort when walking around, but the pain becomes worse when I lie down to go to sleep. I do not notice any discoloration or excessive warmth in these areas. I have had sciatica in the past on my right side. Any ideas what this could be?
