1240706 tn?1331602111 t know if this bloating/pressure I am feeling is just stretching ligaments, a baby growth spurt, or a stomach thing...?? It also feels much firmer to the touch just above the pubic bone than under the navel. Any ideas? Similar experiences? If I experienced anything like this during my previous two pgs, I sure don't remember it...
Avatar f tn m thinking he/she has just had a growth spurt as bub quietened down for about a week and is now as active as ever! and to top it off, the little bugger has learned a new trick to play on mommy where bub stretches out to push on my bladder AND kick my left rib cage at the same time!! Gahh not a good feeling to have rib pain and almost pee my pants at the same time haha.. Regardless, I love my little trouble maker!! Bring on August. Anyone experiencing the same thing?
Avatar f tn Im 17 weeks tomorrow and i feel like a growth spurt. My tummy feels so much bigger! Did this happen to anyone else around this time?

676912 tn?1332812551 Aubryana's been eating like she's been starved the last couple days. She'll be 11 weeks old on Wednesday. Could she be going through a growth spurt? She's exclusively breast fed, and my boobs feel like they're completely empty. I'm doubling up on my mother's milk tea (was only drinking two cups, now going to do four) for the next two days, today included and see if it boosts me up a little and then changing to three Tuesday and see if it helps any.
Avatar n tn As ofyesterday, i woke up and a bump magically appeared. Everyone can now tell i am pregnant. Its scary.
Avatar f tn Constantly eating, fussy, sleep when they arent. Sounds like she's going threw one.
689528 tn?1364135841 I keep getting these pains in my sides or almost contraction feeling but not really. Not sure whether it's a growth spurt or what's going on. Has anyone else been getting anything like that? Yesterday it was on my right side and now it's kinda on my left. I'm not liking it so much. Makes me nervous. I don't think it's braxton hicks....ugh. I dunno.
Avatar f tn Joint pain is very common during this active phase of growth, particularly knee pain. It sounds like your son has a particular type of knee pain that occurs during puberty: Osgood-Schlatter. This pain occurs in both knees, is localized to the front part of the knee below the kneecap, and gets worse with activity like running and jumping. It occurs because of rapid bone growth, stretching of the muscles, and the resulting tension on the joints. It’s not dangerous and he’ll grow out of it.
Avatar f tn So some of you may recall my post from earlier about the pain I was feeling, well turns out that I have a big ol baby lol. I'm 18wks today and he's measuring 22+ soo that explains the pain.
Avatar n tn It could be a growth spurt . check out www.kidskneepain.
Avatar f tn I am also 31 weeks. I get them from time to time. I believe mine are from walking so much at work. Still full time. Also this is the big growth spurt stage to so it could be ligament pain. Especially if it's one side. If not sure call your doc they are prepared for these concerns :) and congrats on baby! Boy or girl?
Avatar n tn Hi All, between 13-15 i had a growth spurt and since then i pretty much havent grown at all im now 18 and i was wondering whether i would get another growth spurt or whether im stunting my growth somehow by not having the right diet (admittedly).
Avatar f tn My son for the past 4 months has been complaining about left (only) knee pain. Its something that settles down with motrin. Its pretty bad when it happens sending us to the emergency room until we realized motrin helped and not tylenol. X-rays show nothing so it is likely an issue with spinal cord nerves. We were told the first signs of re-tethering for him would be issues with bladder control or left foot turning inward.
Avatar f tn Just came from his pediatrician he said its GROWTH SPURT(where babies do this at 2, 3, 6 weeks and then 3,6 months. Its just temporary behaviour for babies. It lasts until 2-7 days, depends on babies to babies. Has anyone experienced GROWTH SPURT?
4194487 tn?1370046144 My son went through his first growth spurt at 10 days, then another at 4w and another at 6w.
613536 tn?1294238447 lol that's what I always say to hubby, "I am so tired, the baby must be going through a growth spurt" when I was earlier in my pregnancy I would say I was tired from growing fingers or toes lol.
3164393 tn?1358277867 Definitely sounds like a growth spurt and if you are breast feeding she may be cluster feeding to get your milk supply to grow for her to be getting enough milk.
912322 tn?1243528988 Ok so Stephany will be 3 mos old sept 6th. The last few days, well for about a week now, she has been sleeping 5-8 hrs at a time. Plus sleeping thru the night. I'm not concerned about her sleeping thru the night as she has been doing that since she was a month and a half, but she is usually up most of the day until a week ago. Is that something to worry about? It probably is nothing but being a new mom, I am not used to any of this. Could it be a sign of becoming sick?
427382 tn?1298209586 Did anyone notice a growth spurt around 3 weeks? I think she has to be having one. I watched her eat a 3 ounce pumped bottle and then hit the breast. I am tired of feeding all day. Also how many of you are giving the LO vitamins that are breastfeeding? My dc has not said anything about this, but I dont want to not give it to her if it is that important.
Avatar f tn Thanks for that
Avatar f tn Hi, I'm a female, age 22, 5'4'', 105 lbs. When I was in middle school (around age 12 almost 13) while trying to do a handstand on my bed (very stupid), I landed badly on my face (lol) and chest and some of my stomach area, and I fell sort of like a...scorpion landing, where my legs were in the air and curved toward my head. Basically I landed pretty badly and my body was curved awkwardly, and it was very hard to move afterwards.
10314769 tn?1409238579 The hospital would of course tell you everything you need to know about you and baby. And they wouldn't discharge you if they found a problem.
341551 tn?1266980730 Probably a growth spurt. That happened with Mikayla a fews ago when we started her on 6oz. One day she was awake the entire day! She only slept maybe 2 hours and that was it! Then sometime last week she started sleeping more during the day but still slept fine at night. Mikayla is always awake pretty much from 6pm-bedtime too. So it could most definitly be a growth spurt.
