Avatar f tn Oh my goodness. This is a lot to worry about for you! I'm sorry!! So, you are a breast cancer survivor in remission? When do you get your pet scan results? It is my understanding that metastasis in the bones typically will have pain associated with it. The other thing that is common to it is broken bones. You are having some pain. I'm glad you got checked out. My dear friend died after metastasis in bones/breast cancer but it was in her chest bones. Very sad. https://www.
Avatar m tn It is a disorder classified by the presence of chronic widespread pain and tactile allodynia(pain even on touching). If there is any deep seated pain in knee then causes of knee pain need to be ruled out. Avatar f tn I had an x-ray on my knee because of pain, and now they have found another cyst in my right knee. My dr. said it is not what was cuasing the pain, we were just lucky we caught it or something. I can't even get that one looked at by a specialist until late August. Now i've been diagnosed with a kidney infection... but i'm very worried because no urine smaple or anything was taken, and i was only looked at by a doctor in a clinic for one minute...
Avatar f tn So as you can see, arthritis can cause an overall knee pain. Ligament injury causes pain to worsen on walking, bending and stretching the knee. Meniscii too if torn or injured, result in joint instability—that is you are not confident the knee joint will take your weight. Often the person feels a popping sensation on moving the joint. It can also be tendinitis due to inflammation of tendon at the knee joint.

Avatar n tn m now 32). The pain started below my knee, and is now accompanied with pain shooting down my shin. It also now feels as if something from the top of my knee is pulling as well. I am hurting, and I don't know what else to do. I am also taking Naperson (sp?), which is not helping. I can't take anything more than that, because pain meds knock me on my butt & I don't want that. Please help with other suggestions while I await my doctors appointment.
Avatar m tn Hello! I'm 14 and I've been having knee pain for 2 years. One doctor told me it's growing pains but I don't really believe it, becuase I don't grow much anymore. The second doctor told me it's because I don't have enough synovial fluid in my knee joints and he offered me injections. I don't know what to do. What if there's something else that causes this pain? I've also got knock knees. Can this be the problem? Please help me!
Avatar m tn I had knee pain in outer side of knee while playing soccer. I took serratiopeptidase + diclofenac potassium capsule by doctors advice. I took rest for 2 weeks but when I started playing it started again. Please advice.
Avatar f tn Pain in the back of the knee can be caused by arthritis or Bakers cysts (cystic accumulation of synovial fluid, also causes a swelling). Avatar m tn Hi, I have pain in the tibia of my left leg, which I think is below the knee cap. The pain started when I was 18, after I got an injury during a basketball game. Now I'm 20 and I still feel the pain only when I engage in physical activity. What's wrong with me. Could these by osgood schlatters disease?

Avatar m tn Look for a good manual therapist. They typically treat not just the knee but also look at how your calf and hip are affecting your knee.

There are also creams like Arnica that are natural that may help. Here is an overview of prostate cancer for those reading that may help explain some of this disease: https://www.medhelp.
Avatar f tn I am now being sent for bone scans of hip, groin, spine and knee. I still have the left knee pain which the orphapedic said may need an operation see what the bone scans show up. I am so worried about cancer i dont know why but i am so scared that this pain in my knee is something bad like a tumor. I have no swelling and it is tender to touch the bones on my knee. The pain is over the outside of my knee cap not the bottom its more at the top and sides. Please please someone help.
Avatar f tn My first knee replacement was in 2002. Second one was in 2003 (on the other knee). For a number of years now I have had pain in my "knees". Even the tissue surrounding them. I've noticed that I can hear the prosthesis move when I move my leg. I swing my legs and they make a funny noise. Today I went to an orthopaedic surgeon about another (unrelated) problem and asked him about the pain in my knees.
Avatar m tn Testicular cancer is a disease that strikes men of a wide age range. It can affect young men as young as age 15. There are quite a few risk factors of testicular cancer. A risk factor is anything that increases your chances of developing a disease. However, if you have a risk factor, it does not mean you will absolutely develop it. Keep in mind, also, that testicular cancer can develop without having a risk factor for the disease.
Avatar m tn I have had pain behind my knee for almost a year now. I had a meniscal tear taken care of last June and I was told it would also take care of the ganglion cyst that had developed. 6 weeks after the surgery I was still having the pain and discomfort behind my knee. I experience increased tightness and pain with exercise....the more I use it the less I am able to do. Even walking causes discomfort. I am not able to pick up my foot and move it back as if trying to touch my butt with my foot.
Avatar m tn I have a pain that starts in my left buttocks and goes down to my knee and my foot making it numb for a certain time. This only happens when I am standing for a long time or when I perhaps walk for a while and it eases when I get back to sitting position. Please advise what this is and what I need to do.
Avatar f tn What I am experiencing now, after so many years is extreme fatigue all day long, severe pain in my feet (the tibia area and knee), constantly having flu after flu, heart beat irregularities (2-3 times a week I get a few bad days when all of a sudden for 30 seconds - 1 minute it feels like it did when I had Pericarditis but lighter - just beating up as if it would break into pieces) and then it stops like nothing happened once I stand up.
