I had kidney stones removed last night with a laser and had a stent put in . Is it normal to pee constantly? My wife picked me up some depends to wear at night but as soon as I put them on I pee in them so here Iam 3am sitting on the toilet with pee just dripping out of my penis is there anything I can do ??
Please at all costs try to avoid the laser as this will leave much dust and fragments that will than make even more stones. The 5mm can def. be removed the problem is the 7mm. It may be able to drop into the top of the ureter and the can take it out from there. Let me know the location on that 1. I have Sjogren's syndrone and develop kidney stones often and they usually pass on their on. I had one crushed three years ago. I now have one that is so large with smaller ones lodged inbetween it that have blocked of my right kidney (seen in a CT scan today). I do not want to go through the crushing again.....what are other procedures? Would like to be prepared before talking to urologist.
I got my stones for the first time while pregnant. It was miserably painful! I guess I passed it because it settled off and the pain went away. Then when my baby was about 6 months old, I had one move in my other kidney. It was miserable again. After much running, walking, bouncing, and flooding my system with water, I finally passed it right before the urologist got his chance to fish it out! I was sooo relieved!

I had kidney cancer and my right kidney was removed in Feb 09. Have been in a clinical trial for 13 months taking targeted chemo to ascertain if the drugs will prevent recurrence or prolong recurrence. CT scans reveal a 4mm stone in my remaining kidney. I also have a high serum creatinine level of 1.99 which means my GFR is also bad.

I have a 14.20 mm stone in my right kidney which was removed by lithotripsy and now as per ultrasound report the kidney is clear and now it is two month since the treatment. But after two months still i have now a different pressure like pain at the right side (back side) due to this pressure i always feel anxiety and tiredness. When you have a 5mm stone, it is my understanding as a non physician and just a plain old kidney stone sufferer for 30 plus years, that your kidney with the stone functions normally, unless the stone is blocking the flow of urine from that kidney, in which case that kidney swells up and the pain would be in the kidney with the stone.
He has had stones removed 4 times and is in the hospital, again.with another infection. This one involves pus in the kidney and surrounding sack. His right kidney, where all of the stones have been, is down to less than 25% output and may have to be removed. I had some pain in September 2016 and a diagnosed kidney stone at that time. But the pain didn't really start until January this year. I had severe flank pain on both sides and abdominal pain especially after eating. Was admitted and treated for kidney infection. A few weeks later they found out my Gallbladder was overactive and removed it.

Hi my husband has been suffering from kidney stones for 20 years now and his last bout was September 2013 were he had yet another blockage which had to be removed in October after a stent being inserted again. He took renal colic pain beginning of March 2014 and got an emergency appointment with consultant who organised ultrasound.
It's been three weeks since my diagnosis of having multiple kidney stones on the right side. The Radiologist who gave me my stat results said I would pass them and didnt think straining my urine was something I needed to do. I finally got in to see my urologist he was upset I wasn't straining and wanted me to have surgery since I will be undergoing IVF treatments in March. I agreed because I don't want to deal with flare up while pregnant.

i was diagnosed with kidney stones in November 2016, I had repeated UTI's and antibiotics for 18 months, still waiting to have them removed. I have lost 5kg in weight and have dyspepsia all the time, as i do suffer with Gerd.
