This past friday at 1:20am I was rushed to the ER from sudden back pain that was unbearable I was so scared for my baby.. Came to the conclusion it's kidney stones and I became more terrified because there's not many pain killers they could give me other than tylenol and morphine, so about the last one I asked if it was ok for my baby, first they said not sure!!

Rhe pain was worse then labor I swear. Have any of you ladies had kidney stones during this pregnancy? Im due nov 28th and im already dealing with all the pain that comes along with pregnancy and I cant go through that again.

Hi ladies have any of yous experienced the oh-so-lovely pain of kidney stones? Also once it passed how long did kidney pain last? The hospital I attended to didn't help nor my doctor was any help! Thanks!

Blood in urine is a sign of a really bad bladder infection or kidney stones..I had kidney stones with my first and never peed blood..got kidney stones again this pregnancy was peeing blood they said bladder infection but I ended up in hospital 3 days later with kidney stone attack so I either had both or was trying to pass stones..I would call my doctor so they can get a urine sample while you are peeing the blood out..

My mother is 50 years old and has a history of kidney stones for more than 10 years. 2 years back, the ultra sound showed no signs of kidney stones. But 1 month back, she again got the pain in the kidney area and the utrasound now showed small right renal calculus and Moderate right hydronephrosis with dilated upper and mid ureter. The doctor asked to get a CT scan for KUB correlation. The CT scan report states that right kidney is bulky and oedematous and Calculus measuring 7.0 X 3.

Even though I took all of these meds, can it be that I still have a UTI , kidney infection or kidney disease? I am in the process of getting a renal and pelvic sonogram but it is a long time from now because of the holidays. Please help! Pain is unbearable.

t take any chances with any kidney stone he gets in the kidney he has left. Stones are removed quickly and he and his Urologist stay in close contact during any period involving a kidney stone. I wish you the best and please let us know how you make out.

In February I underwent two surgeries to get rid of 10 stones. Stones sitting in your kidney can cause kidney infections. Your best bet is to see the urologist and take care of those stones. Good luck to you!

I have had 2 different kidney stones in the past!! They hurt like hell. But when they start moving, you would be in such excruciating pain that you couldn't even stand up! If you are having blood in your urine, I would talk to the doctor and see if they can do a UA to see if you have a kidney infection!! Cranberry juice will help to prevent bladder infections but not get rid of them.

Oh trust me, you'd know If you were passing kidney stones.

i dunno if you ladies remember but last week i had a little blood in my urine .. well this morning i woke up and i started to throw up.... yesterday i felt sick all day and i didnt have much of an appetite. I took my temp this morning it is 99.3 and im having spasms in my back .... I have history of kidney stones so Im thinking thats whats going on but i am 26 weeks pregnant... ive been taking tylenol for the pain... do you think I should go to my doctor or try to let them pass on their own...

My cat Mini is a 6-year old male cat and has recently diagnosed CRF. Also kidney stones are found in the L kidney and one in the L ureter. The vet in Hong Kong said there's nothing we can do to get rid of the stone in the ureter, only surgery of removing the L kidney, but since his R kidney is not healthy as well (calcium deposits found in the R kidney), complication rate is very high, death rate is like 60%.

I have had a KUB that has detected approximately 8 stones in my left kidney and 14 stones in my right. I even had lithotripsy on a 7 mm stone on the left. I continue to have the pain on the right. My doctor says that I should not be having this pain because none of the stones are big enough (all 3-5 mm) to block anything. However, still the pain. He has prescribed Vicodin, which helps a little, but I am beginning to feel a little like a druggie.

Is it normal for stones stuck in the kidney to cause so much pain?? Could the fact that I have pkd be making the pain from these stones worse...I guess I'll be headed back to er if pain doesn't let up before I run out of the few pills I have until I see my urologist. Any advice or knowledge would be greatly appreciated.
