So four days later i went back again. Well this hospital preforms a ct scan looking for kidney stones. They found the kidney stones they were looking for. However they left me with this overwhelming fear after telling me that they seen a shadow on my lower left lung. I had 3 pictures taken so for the radiologist to say he didnt like what he seen, does that mean it was on all 3 pictures and does that mean there is something there. I'm a 25 year old mother of 2.

I went to the hospital in May with sever kidney pains in both kidneys that had been hurting for two weeks. I heard that stones run in all the females in the family so I went to the doctor. Doctor said there was a little blood in my urine so ordered a CT scan. Nothing showed up in the CT scan. A few days later... felt something moving from my kidney to my bladder... I got really hot and sweaty and really nauseous. I have not caught any stones in a strainer.

Not a kidney infection I saw the urologist a couple of days later and she is going to do and IVP because you can see the stones on the CT but not on regular Xray she thinks maybe uric acid stones. I am just so frustrated with this it's been happening over and over for about 3 months now.

Could be he ate something red, beets can do it, but also so can kidney stones and kidney problem ,maybe a bladder infection.... all the same he definatly should get it checked out ..

my urinalysis came back normal so no one seems to tell me why i get them or how to stop them. i always pass them on my own too so the doctors tell me im lucky.. im in pain all the time and i feel like its ruining my life. i feel like im going crazy and no one wants to put up with me anymore. the last time i was in the er the nurse told me to get a healer. i could have hit her. any info you have to share would be great.

Blood in urine is a sign of a really bad bladder infection or kidney stones..I had kidney stones with my first and never peed blood..got kidney stones again this pregnancy was peeing blood they said bladder infection but I ended up in hospital 3 days later with kidney stone attack so I either had both or was trying to pass stones..I would call my doctor so they can get a urine sample while you are peeing the blood out..

liver function ok, not anaemic, calcium ok, red blood count ok, no inflammation, white blood cells ok. Kidney function in the normal range but at the bottom end of the range. Both Urologists that I've seen said they don't think this is what's causing the pain...but I do. I also had a recurring UTI over the summer and I've never had one before. I am a 40 year old female with a history of kidney stones. Latest ultrasound (1 year ago) noted stones bilaterally. I have had previous symptoms of UTI only to have tests come back negative for infection but positive for blood. I am confused by what the doctor is saying. She showed me the two stones in the bladder on the x-ray, but she has scheduled me for shock wave surgery to break the stones up, but all of the info I am reading is that the stones are broken up in the kidney. They are going to place a stent in me, but what for if the stones are already in the bladder?
