How unusual is it for the stones to be in this meaty part of my kidney and since they are still in my kidney aren’t they just going to continue to grow larger? Are these stones causing damage to my kidneys? They don’t seem to be causing any blockages based on the ultrasounds that have been done, but I still have had frequent flank pain and blood visible in my urine prior to the surgery. Is there any hope that I will be able to be stone free and prevent more stones?
Maybe muscle pain, maybe ovarian cyst, other GYN problems, could be stomach/intestinal, could be appendicitis. kidney stones. It's a toss up. At home check: have someone push slowly and deeply over pain area, hold it down, then suddenly release. If the release causes very sharp sudden pain and makes you wince, you probably have some inflammation. Call your MD NOW for advice, or get to the ER. If you are running a fever of 100 or more, call the MD NOW.
I kinda got over it but 2 months later I had kidney attacks and had surgery 2 months ago for kidney stones. I have more surgery for that later this month as well. Within a day or 2 after surgery I got what feels like double ear infections, had headaches and the dizziness came back. Also continued dehydration and eye trouble. My vision seems perfectly clear but I get like an irritation that causes me to instinctively move my eyes up and down and side to side.

Looking for info and wanted to follow one dated Jan. 22, 2008 at 09:23 to get info for where to look or questions to ask to find the cause of the stones that come every month. Will also watch for other info as needs arise.

Serum Ca - 9.3
Urine Calcium 24 hr - 124.8
Vital D 25 (OH) - 10
Please advice if this is primary or secondary hyperparathyroidism or if I need further lab tests to complete the diagnosis.
