I have pain similar to kidney stones in both of my kidneys. They did a CT scan and couldn't see any stones. They tested my urine and blood for many things but couldn't find anything wrong.

at first it was just tender and i had blood in my urine and was told it was kidney stones and had a xray but no stones found. full bloods and internal swabs all normal.I had last had an utlra sound of my uterus and kidneys when my youngest was 4months old, that was fine. gradually the pain had progressed to my lower back and right side of my back.. been to my doctors so many times. one doctor said it was my sacroiliac joint. Since then ive had 2 uti's.

I have an appointment with a urologist but it is stil a couple weeks away, just a little anxious to see what it could be. The cat scan showed no kidney stones but I have read that if the stones are 3mm or smaller they may not show up. I had both with and without contrast in the cat scan. My doctor thought for sure stones would have shown up.

I'm 19 years old and I have been having intense pain in my kidney area on both sides for about 4 months, and I have been to 2 urologists. While they have diagnosed me with kidney stones and they said that I have a couple of small stones in each kidney, but they are not blocking anything so they are not the cause of my pain. I have also been to a physical therapist who said it is not musculoskeletal. I have also been having hematuria for at least 2 months.

Last year I also started having problems with multiple kidney stones. After my first emergency surgery for stones in my left kidney everything went down-hill. I have urethral stenosis, stricture disease and large amounts of scar tissue in my left ureter. The doctor placed a stent that my body rejected and they had to removed it within 4 days. My stones are made up of uric acid however uric acid levels in my blood are normal but in my urine they are sky high.

I have undergone several tests, MRI of the lumbar spince, chest and abdominal CT scans with and without contrast, colonoscopy, endoscopy to rule out the obvious...kidney stones, appendicitis, gastro issues, and my gall bladder was removed 2 years ago. CT scans did reveal several small kidney stones...a few in each kidney. I can't help but think that the issue is kidney related. The pain really feels like it is stemming from my right kidney.

epsom salt baths, heating pad and moist heat and just take it easy. I also have fibromaygia and kidney stones, allergies and anxiety. this one takes the cake for pain!

I've had three stones pass over five yrs the last two within the past two and one having to be removed by surgery after blocking my bladder one yr ago during the ct scan I was told I had three on my left side and multiple on the right.

I wonder if anybody else has experienced diarrhea with kidney stones? I have had upwards of 40 kidney stones in the past four years but somehow still have no answers as to why my body is producing these or how to relieve them. And i never fail to turn up new symptoms or troubles. I have been having dark urine and a lot of kidney pain lately and I'm sure I have another stone working its way out of my kidney...

kidney stones can be very recurring and can start very young, although ive never heard of someone getting them in their early teens.. usually early 20s, but that doesnt mean it doesnt happen earlier. it sounds like you will have to sit in some pain until you get insurance again. you can try to seek out clinics, but theyre not very good at helping. get your insurance back and go to a dr, because if you have them so often, you might have something else going on.

How unusual is it for the stones to be in this meaty part of my kidney and since they are still in my kidney aren’t they just going to continue to grow larger? Are these stones causing damage to my kidneys? Could be your kidney, I have kidney stones and it started with upper right side pain right below the breast. Might want to watch and see if it gets better or worse and bring it up with your ob. the ovarian cyst was removed back in december, and it was on the right side, so i dont think that would have anything to do with it. But i was told that kidney stones dont cause nagging pain?? with my other stones i have always had sharp severe pain. As of february my dr had told me that i did not have any stones in the left kidney anymore, just in the right. could one maybe be forming? maybe if its moving around in the kidney it could be causeing the nagging pain?
