With urologist, you may think of home remedy as an adjunct therapy or just get informed about the home remedy. Home Remedies for Balanitis: Apart from conventional medication, there are home remedies to treat balanitis as well. These include changes to your diet such as cutting down on your intake of sugar and high carbohydrate foods to reduce recurring yeast infections. A healthy balanced diet high in antioxidants and active enzymes will also help reduce infections and boost immunity.
It's been an ongoing problem for 3 1/2 years. He has kidney stones, which I know can make you more prone to infection, and he may also have a urethral stricture, but that's speculation. It may all stem from a botched cystoscopy he had 11 or 12 years ago.. he'd had a kidney stone but they gave him the cystoscopy after he was better, so he claims it was unnecessary, and a medical student did it, and they screwed up and he bled a lot, and was in serious pain for months..
Urogenital infection means an infection anywhere in the urinary tract or the genital organs (kidney, bladder, prostate, urethra, etc.). When there are kidney stones there is almost always an infection too. (The infection may be the underlying cause of the kidney stones or it may be encouraged by the irritation from the stone(s).) If the area behind your testicles and anus feels tender, you may have prostate inflammation from infection there.
I am on an antibiotic as well as percocet as it is the only drug that takes the edge off. My question is, how much longer will it take for the stones to pass? Any home remedies for pain and to get these stones on their way? Could these symptoms be something else? I am going to follow up with by GP by wed, so any info would be great, especially regarding tests I should ask him to run. Thank you.
Hi, when it comes to being "different", I seem to always be the "square peg, in the round hole", so to speak. I happen to be, one of the few men, who get UTI's (Urinary Tract Infections), very often. I will be 50, in October, so I know, they are going to be, even more probable, oh yeah. I have had kidney stones, in the past, but that was several years ago. Normally, when I get the UTI "symptoms", I take some cranberry pills, and drink lots of water.
I use hot compresses to tryto soften them and have used honey to try to bring it to a head, I was just wondering if anyone else had any home remedies, and also if anyone has heard of any other treatment aside from anti biotics. I will be grabbing some fish oil today, might as well give it a shot.
So according to test results, I have no kidney infection and no kidney stones because according to my doctor, kidney stones will show some trace of blood in my detailed urine exam. Also note that during the episode of my back/kidney ache, my chest pain was very little to almost gone. Although they came back a little bit but not to the point that i would go crazy.
No discharge that I noticed. I let the infection go for 6 weeks before seeing a Gyn. I tried treating at home first, with monistat 3 - and when that didn't work at all - natural remedies like tea tree oil, but to no avail. It took a couple of weeks to get in to see the gyn so I drugged myself with Benadryl to sleep at night, which stopped helping after a few days.

Wow , thanks so much for everyones information. I am a 44 yr. old female, I was caught off guard yesterday while walking to work. I was overcome with severe pain on one side of my back and stomach area. It was very hot here yet I would get chills and was feeling like I needed to vomit. Some dizziness and hard to even speak. I have given birth 9 times and would much rather do it 100 times more then go thru this pain, it is relentless !
can i rid of it by useing the amoxcicillian left over from my kidney infection? or would cranberry tablets help or is the just for bladder infections?
Kidney yin deficiency can have many symptoms including lower back pain which I have had for a decade now. As you all know your kidney and liver are the primary organs for removing toxins from your body. If you have access to good Chinese herbal doctors, it is better to consult one to see if you suffer from such yin-yang imbalances, rather than self-diagnosing or self-medicating.
The flu has passed epidemic rates in much of the country, and if you don't have a cold, I'm sure you have a friend who has the sniffles, fever, chills, aches and pains of a viral upper respiratory infection. This is different from a bacterial infection such as sinusitis, bronchitis, or pneumonia. A viral infection doesn't improve with antibiotics as these infections do. A virus hijacks your own body's healthy cells and uses it to reproduce and spread.

info/data/usercontentroot/home/treatments/Post%20Treatment%20Survey.asp Disturbing symptoms that emerge after completing tx are a 'hot' subject on this forum currently. Some will try to claim that these problems cropping up after tx are a 'coincidence', or are due to some sort of rapid aging. Of course those people do not have these symptoms!
In october, went to dr because of running fever and vomiting. Found blood in my urine and diagnosed me with kidney infection even though didn't have signs like burning sensation when urinating. Have had all tests done: barium enema, upper gi tests, hida-scan, other tests for gallbladder and liver. All blood tests are normal.

But also another factor you mentioned is that you seem to get it after you guys have sex, well my dr has told me that a guy can get a yeast infection and it not show any symptoms, therefore, he could be giving it back to you each time you guys have sex, i would definitly mention this to your dr, and see if he/she can prescribe a pill for your partner as well, so that the two of you will not pass it back and fourth! Good Luck!!
I had my first IUI on February 1, 2008 and I get to test at home this Saturday. I really have had no symptoms at all, and I'm setting myself up for a negative result. After trying for so long with no success, it's difficult to put all of your hopes on the line...again and again.
This has been an unusual year in that the flu has been picking up in the last few weeks, and will last into early summer. The symptoms of influenza include cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, and fever. Other common symptoms are chills, headache, muscle aches, fatigue (a tired feeling), and loss of appetite. Fortunately, this year, there's plenty of vaccine and you'll have protection as soon as a week after getting your shot.
With back pain it is possible its turning into a kidney infection. Drink as much as you can, cranberry juice is good for it, and even if it hurts pee when you feel like you need to because holding it in can make it worst.

com/health/kidney-infection/DS00593/DSECTION=symptoms You do not have to have all of the symptoms for a kidney infection. The worse the infection the worse the symptoms ie vomiting, dehydration. There are also a lot of home remedies you could try. I take 1 tbs of apple cider vinegar and 1 tbs of honey in about 8 ounces of warm water. I drink one in the morning and one at night. It is nasty but it works well for me.
I have cut out the caffeine, and I drink a lot of water. I would love to be able to take or drink cranberry but I am allergic. Is there any home remedies that anyone knows of that is as effective as cranberry?-- And.. Is there any tests I should consider getting done?

This is typical of a disease syndrome in dogs known as HGE (hemorrhagic gastroenteritis), which may have many different causes including bacterial infection, stress or dietary indiscretion (ie eating a dead animal). The treatment for HGE is IV fluids and IV antibiotics, and that is what Izzy got. Most likely, her bloody diarrhea was due to the stress that prompted her owner to give her the herbal product in the first place.
