One said it was a fungus, one said it was a bacterial infection. I feel different than I used to, tired, depressed and uninterested in everything. This discussion is RELATED to <a href='http://www.medhelp.org/posts/show/242714'>can't stop ITCHING</a>.
Well the antibiotics did not work so I returned a couple weeks later and by then the tiny red bumps had disappeared by the <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>ITCHING</span> had become WAY more intense and in fact kept me up or woke me up in the middle of the night. There was nothing on my arms or legs but when I would itch of course a red rash would appear and I was releasing histamine like crazy. The doctor then prescribed me with a tapered dose of cortisone for 10 days. This worked for about 6 days then the ITCHING slowly returned...
In contact dermatitis exposure to an irritant like a chemical or metal or anything you are ALLergic to, can cause rash and <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>ITCHING</span>. Scabies infection is caused by a mite Sarcoptesscabiei, it burrows in the skin folds of hands and feet and causes intense ITCHING mostly at night. I had a <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>KIDNEY</span> infection a few months ago. i recOVERed....very slowly! But for the past few weeks I have been having pain in the right KIDNEY area again. Its not as bad as it was when i was in the hospital last time, but at times its bad. i went to my urologist who tested my urine. I did have white blood cells in my urine which indicates an infection, but the culture came back negative??? Tested again, and still negative. Is it possible that the test missed the infection twice??
I'm not so certain that there is a dermatological source for the cited symptoms. I, too, recently had a severe bacterial infection of my ear, and developed the very-same symptoms - with uncontrollable ITCHING of my hands & feet, which clears up with antihistamine. My worst bout occurred after I applied a hand moisturizer (Curel), leading me to believe that it was a contact ALLergy.

When I take Cipro antibotics the symptoms disapear as if I had a <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>KIDNEY</span> infection but, when I give the doc a urnine sample, the doc has said there is not any signs of bacteria in the urine. But never the less I ask for the antibotics and I get better for a number of weeks then the symptoms reapear. I have had 2 bowel resections and Historectomy. Not much in there to remove. Has anyone had this happen to them and if so can you tell me if you found what was causing the problem and treatment?

Alright so for quite some time now I have experienced a strange <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>ITCHING</span> problem. Inside my labia Majora but not quite to the Labia Minora it itches. Just in between. Mostly on the inside of the labia majora in the crease where my lips close around everything. I thought perhaps it was because it was warmer so perhaps it was like a heat rash. It comes and goes. I went to the doctor and was given two different antibiotics as well as yeast infection pills (two that you take four days apart).

Honestly, it has worked every single time!

0 it's indication of too acidic urine and potential of uric acid stones in <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>KIDNEY</span>). 2) Make ultrasound of KUB (<span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>KIDNEY</span>/Ureter/Bladder) for cysts and/or stones. 3) Make ultrasound of Scrotum/Prostate to detect any abnormalities (for example cysts, enlarged prostate). Put attention that every anti-biotic you have taken reduced your symptoms for a while. Therefore it could be a bacterial infection with a resistant bacteria (or worse encapsulated bacteria).
About three months ago I developed what has been diagnosed by a urologist as a bacterial bladder infection in the left side of my bladder. Around the same time my left hip began ITCHING, but there is absolutely no rash, visible swelling, bumps, or redness. Now I cannot lay on my left side or it highly irritates it. I visited another doctor who took xrays and says that is is likely bursitis in the hip, but does not understand the ITCHING.
Try to avoid other medications unless prescribed to avoid exacerbation and always keep the area clean and dry. A boil is a localized infection deep in the skin. There are several different types of boils depending on the location: furuncle, carbuncle, cystic acne, hidradenitis suppurativa, or pilonidal cyst. Boils could be due to an ingrown hair, breaks in the skin infected with bacteria, foreign material that has become lodged in the skin, or plugged sweat glands that become infected.
Hello, I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be tinea corporis(fungal infection). Most cases of fungal infections respond to OVER-the-counter products, which contain any of several basic ingredients: miconazole, tolnaftate, terbinafine, ketaconazole and clotrimazole. You can consult a pharmacist and get any cream or lotion containing these ingredients. Some of them are Lamisil, Monistat derm, Mycelex, and Nizoral.
