Over a year ago mine got a dui and then lost his job for drinking at work. He did detox and now is in outpatient rehab. Me and the kids are going to al-anon, but I'm still having a lot of trouble dealing with the lies and uncertainty. Anyone been here or still here?
My husband has been in a rehab facility since December 17th and will be discharged on January 30, 2011. I've posted before about the letter he wrote me ending our marriage only two weeks into treatment for a 7 year addiction to narcotics / Suboxone and Ambien.

He has insurance through me-but he was so addicted to pain killers he went to multiple hospitals in one day. he used his brothers name a number of times. My drug of choice was hydro. I went to the ER yesterday b/c I was so scared. I was dehydrated & my blood pressure was really low. I told them I was so sick from withdrawling from the pain meds. They gave me an IV & sent me home with hydro 5mg. They only gave me 12, & told me to take them only when I start feeling sick again. I'm trying really hard to do that, but if I had control I wouldn't be in this situation in the first place.
She is so happy he went to rehab and I'm not going to tell her it will be a long hard road. I'm sure the rehab place will let her know what to expect and I will leave it in the hands of the professionals.
