I had filler under my left eye and on my left side of my lip about 10 weeks ago. my lip was so swollen and bruised. My whole left side of my face was numb including my nose all the way to my ear but I could still move it. Felt like I had been to the dentist. The numbness is still there but mostly on the side of my cheek into my ear. The last several days I have had severe pain on that side of my face. I don't think I will do filler again and I hope that this resolves.
So I wasn't going through her purse, I went in there to grab a stick of gum and notice 8 white pills. I looked up what they were and found out they were valtrex. When I confronted her about it, she said that they were prescribed to her because she had gotten Juvederm injections in her mouth at work (she works at a dermatology office). I thought that was odd but took her word for it.

The filler under my eye were too swollen and the doctor removed some of it but she did an uneven job and 9 months later, I still have lumps under my eyes and lumpiness under my laugh lines. Can Hyaluroidase still dissolve the product 9 months later? Will Hyaluroidase melt away natural fat/tissue or just the product? Also, some days the swelling/lumps are much more dramatic than other days.
I am considering eyelid surgery and the doctor also recommended a dermal filler between the brows to decrease a very deep line. He did not offer the name of the filler he will be using. After looking on-line regarding fillers I came across Radiesse and ArteFill. What I like about the ArteFill is the long-term benefits (5 years) and not knowing the cost perhaps I'll be saving money in the long run as Radiesse and other dermal fillers only last maybe one year at a cost around $800 a visit.

Firstly, it appears that the dentist numbed the wrong part of my mouth as the top was numbed, and the work was to be down on a lower tooth. One of the injections caused a shooting, burning pain along my cheek and radiated towards my eye. After which the dentist left. A while later, the dentist returned, when asked if my lower lip was numb I responded that the top was numbed, the dentist was surprised and gave me more injections and immediately began drilling.
