Avatar f tn So, psyched to be at the airport going to FL to pick up my kids. Just spent 2 months at a rehab in NH. The Plymouth House changed my life!! It's a 12 step rehab. I highly recommend it to anyone with substance issues!
Avatar f tn After going home from the inpatient rehab center, is it necessary to follow up with visiting the the outpatient rehab center regularly or just continue at home the rehab exercise which be taught at rehab center?
1548028 tn?1324612446 sure knew there was something wrong then. Spent 15 days in hospital getting steroid treatment and 2 months with rehab. We were told ADEM/transverse demylination. Now 16 months later we got better than the beginning but damage remained and some symptoms have worsened. We see a pediatric Neurologist and an MS Specialist Neurologist. Thank goodness! They say now "highly suspected MS". We've come a long way in 16 months but it feels slow sometimes. So here we are.

918457 tn?1244645682 Here is a pretty good link to psychiatrists in Plymouth. http://www.avvo.com/find-a-doctor/psychiatry/ma/plymouth.html Give them a call and ask if they specialize in ADHD. I would think even one who specializes in kids with ADHD would be better than one without that experience. I can also recommend several good sites with info on ADHD if you are interested. Best wishes.
Avatar n tn t even recommend compression stockings -- this from the vascular surgeon, not neurologist or hematologist --- they have not been consulted on this issue that we know of. This is a hospital that does not have a stroke center and no real specialty stroke treatment/rehab. Rehab people are now very pessimistic regarding his recovery, but he had been making progress before.
Avatar n tn I was bleeding and cramping and the hospital believed I could be miscarrying. They suggested bedrest for a week. The rehab medically discharged me at that point. I was in no way ready to leave. I needed to be there and needed the help, badly. I had lost almost everything when I entered that rehab and to leave early was the wrong choice. I eventually relapsed again about a month ago. This time to methadone. I am scared, have been thrown out of my home and am losing both my girls.
Avatar n tn This is really hard for me to answer. Typically rehab lasts up to 4 to 6 weeks but that also depends on the progress. I am sure your husband also has his own opinion regarding this matter as well.
Avatar f tn Both of her grandmothers have renae in their names. Boy Cameron Jordan. His daddys middle name is also Jordan. It really just depends on what you like. Its your child and your choice in the end.
Avatar m tn She was on a couple of antibiotics and they discharged her to the rehab center, she spent 28 days in the hospital. My mother participated in therapy but barley. She slept, and could hardly lift her legs like she did in the hospital. 4 days later she went back to the hospital for pneumonia and dehydration. We found out she wasn’t receiving her lasix (water pill) at the rehab place. She stayed in the hospital for 2 weeks and went back the rehab.
Avatar f tn After my husband was out of the inpatient rehab center he was sent to a HealthSouth Out Patient center. They were wonderful. They worked with my husband three days a week (speech, occupational and physical) and he has improved considerably. The outpatient therapy lasted about 2 months and now my husband is basically doing everything himself. Only thing I have to do is remind him to take his pills.

1475202 tn?1536270977 In the United States, the modern Thanksgiving holiday tradition is commonly, but not universally, traced to a poorly documented 1621 celebration at Plymouth in present-day Massachusetts. The 1621 Plymouth feast and thanksgiving was prompted by a good harvest. Pilgrims and Puritans who began emigrating from England in the 1620s and 1630s carried the tradition of Days of Fasting and Days of Thanksgiving with them to New England.
Avatar n tn I would seriously SERIOUSLY consider having him detox in a hospital or rehab center. Not only will they treat his physical state so he can detox safely, they'll help treat his alcoholism. If he's been this addicted to alcohol it's almost absolutely 100% that he'll continue drinking without going into rehab, inpatient detox, and a 12 step program.
1810386 tn?1405549577 ve been to a drug specialist they have suggested I have two options, that I do a 1 week in hospital detox or I can take the substitute Suboxone (buprenorphine), which would be on about a month. I'd like to hear about some peoples experience about either one and if they would recommend one or another. I would like to make a decision by this Thursday and I have another appt with the doctor.
1548028 tn?1324612446 Jordan has had intermittent numbness and tingling for a long while but now it is consistent in arms and legs. Is this something likely to stay around? I have called all Neuros and updated them. Darn it! Jordan is definately more frusterated but hormones may play into this somewhat. I wish I knew what more to do to help him. I wonder if counseling might do him some good. Maybe just having someone else to talk to may help.
