280234 tn?1532986249 I was wondering if any other young adults have been diagnosed with colon polyps? I'm a 34/f who was recently diagnosed with a 1.1 cm "Tubulovillous adenoma" during a colonoscopy (was seeing blood/mucous in stool for about 6 months). The lab report came back that it was benign, and my GI doctor said follow up with him in 3 years. From what my GI doctor told me, and what I've read about these, they are considered precancerous. Following up in 3 years makes me nervous.
Avatar f tn I've been having pain in my fingers, knees, hips and ankles for about a year, maybe a bit longer. I'm 28 years old and live a pretty active life. I've looked up joint pain on the internet and all I find is arthritis, but I really don't think that's what I have. Any help?
Avatar m tn 3 Months ago,I was a Healthy 56 yr.old, white Male....Now,I can't pick up my TV remote without severe pain and swelling...And weakness,in my right hand. And,I'm right-handed. ... [More] I was wondering if this condition (Adult Inflammatory Arthritis ) is the "after effect" of any type of Flu Vaccinations, given to adults within the past 3 yrs.
Avatar m tn That is too young for osteoarthritis. Do you have any other symptoms beside joint pain? Maybe fatigue, dizziness, blurred vision, anything.
Avatar m tn The rash lasted a few days and a few days later, I began to experience severe itching from head to toe. I also experienced swollen hands and feet and joint pain a week after the rash. All my symptoms have subsided, except the itching, which has now lasted for 11 days. Could this intense itching be a symptom of fifths disease? And how long do fifths disease symptoms typically last in adults?
526311 tn?1229286330 anyone out there young like me? being an addict (especially pain pills) is getting so common for young adults like myself.
3134509 tn?1342624494 As in your case, i think it is hereditary, as you are too young to have joint pains. Its the same with my cousins. Many of the people on her mother's side have severe joint pains. Do any of yr mom/dad/g mom/g dad etc had these sort of problems. If no, it may be something else. Take adequate amount of calcium probably 800mg/day or refer a chart. But consult a doctor. Hard to say, but maybe you will still have some pain even after it n will have to bear with it.
Avatar f tn Other symptoms could include fatigue/tiredness, constipation/diarrhea, muscle/joint pain, cold/heat intolerance, hair loss, facial puffiness, dry itchy skin, brain fog/inability to concentrate and many others.
Avatar f tn Is it normal finding white appearenc of the retina in young adults?
Avatar n tn Hi ksgirl22, how are you doing? How is your foot pain? Is it a doctor who had asked you to get MRI foot and have you been followed up? "A ganglion is a swelling that is filled with thick jelly like material. They usually occur on the back of the wrist but they do occur near other joints or near tendons (like in your case where it is in your foot). They usually occur in young adults. It is not known why they occur". For more details refer: http://www.surgerydoor.co.uk/so/detail2.asp?

Avatar m tn i went to dr office 13 days later and recieved a cortisone shot in my glute. it relieved the pain for five days. the pain returned and i followed up with an internal medicine dr which had me get an mri. the results were(findings) -"the ac joint is well maintained. there are a few subchondral cysts seen involving the lateral humeral head measuring 8mm x 7mm in size.
192055 tn?1263555537 When I was 14ish, my collarbone dislocated at the Sternoclavicular joint... where your collarbone and breast bone meet. Ever since then, my SC joint would dislocate constantly throughout the day (pretty much with any arm movement... 15-20 times a day?) The doctor I saw at the time said it would heal in a year... that it was common in young girls since bones aren't fully matured at that age. My doctor said he didn't recommend surgery since I was so young.

Avatar n tn I was 12, just had my first menses, and developed a typical sore throat/fever illness. The only difference was I was fatigued. About a month later, had joint stiffness and pain in my knee. Slowly the pain involved my hands/feet, elbows, and neck joints. About two months into the illness, I developed Bells palsy, which is a paralysis of one side of face with loss of taste on one side of tongue and inabilty to smile/wink correctly.

Avatar f tn My daughter suffered from joint pain, starting a couple of weeks after she turned 3. At five they diagnosed her with Juvenile Rhuematoid Arthritis (JRA). One year later she was diagnosed with a severe Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. There may not be any connection, but it would be worth a visit to a specialist. Could either of the drugs he is taking have joint issues as a side affect or could they be causing a chemical imbalance to where that is causing the joint pain? Think outside the box.
