630047 tn?1289248521 I would hope that everyone could put aside partisan politics, if only for a moment, and say a prayer for Madelyn Payne Dunham. She was Barack Obama's grandmother and was very influential in his life. Out of respect, I would like like to extend my thoughts and prayers to the family, and may Madelyn find peace. Please join me in extend your sympathies.
Avatar f tn We have fun with it - I was calling her (before we knew it was a her) Jose Jalpeno Seed on a Uterus (thanks Jeff Dunham lol) and HOSSA Handzus Oduya (fun last names of Chicago Blackhawks players/ sport freak husband) ..... The fact is it IS a fetus and maybe some people just cannot emotionally connect to it when it doesn't feel real?
1416133 tn?1351123217 Jeff Conaway died this morning. Not sure if anyone saw him on Celebrity Rehab but he was seriously addicted. Hearing this, after another guest from the show, Mike Starr of Alice in Chains, who also died from opiate abuse, has once again broken my heart. Serious shi* - an epidemic of huge proportion. Any comments?
Avatar f tn I have been having my menstrual cycle for over a month now and it's starting to smell like metal or iron. I also have this pain on my right side. It's not a heavy flow but it's messing with my lifestyle. What should I do?
Avatar n tn You count the length of your cycle from the first day of your last period to the first day of your next period. The length of your mentration does not calculate. Once you know the average length of your cycle, you can find out when you are supposed to O.
Avatar n tn I was wondering why I get so sick with my menstrual cycle, the first two days are the worst, I feel like I'm gone to pass out. Is there any I can take to prevent these sickness.
Avatar f tn A woman with a light period is not gaining much thickness in her endometrial lining during the early part of the menstrual cycle. This is usually an indication that estrogen levels are lower than normal. If estrogen levels are low, progesterone levels are likely to also be low and a woman may or may not ovulate with her cycles.

Now I am will be starting again, because it's been every 12-14 days. What can this be? I am only 38 years old. I went to the doctor they took my blood, she is testing for Thyroid & Enima. Avatar f tn Okay...so I was diagnosed with anemia in November, and my doctor put me on Feosol(ferrous sulfate) in December. I haven't gotten a menstrual cycle since probably 2 weeks before Christmas. Does the feosol or sulfate supplement counteract cycles and cause them to stop?
937837 tn?1285350385 I thought after you got ones levels into range the menstrual cycle was supposed to normalize. I have had about 3 50 day cycles since I was diagnosed and started meds. Before my cycles were 37, 49, 34, stopped taking birth control in mid October. Was just wondering if anyone knows if this is normal for a women with hypothyroidism?
