Avatar n tn I have for about a month feeling pain in chest, face, jaw and weakness in my left arm. My doctor did a ekg, but saw nothing. What could it be?
Avatar f tn about 6 month ago I was admitted to hospital with a suspected angina attack as I had chest pain, pain in my left arm and jaw, I was given a perscription for asprin and gtn spray. 2 weeks later I had a treadmill test done which came back ok and was toldd to stop taking my medication. since then I have had 3 or 4 bouts of chest pain along with heart flutterings and am wondering if it would be wise to go see my GP again.
Avatar f tn observation they said that it was muscle pain, not heart pain. By that time the pain was gone. Now today again I got left chest pain along with some jaw pain. I am writing with a nitroglycerine tab under my tongue. With slighest wind or loud sound I am getting ear pain and throat pain nowadays. Now I get panicked with jaw pain. How can I distinguish that these chest pains and jaw pains are related to heart or not? Please help me to get rid of this situation.
Avatar f tn On 1st Aug, I had jaw pain after walking for 10 mins. I went to the Emergency. They found no problem with EKG and Blood work, but I was admitted for investigation. Next day Stress Test was done. I got jaw pain after 5 mins, but my pulse rate did not rise. So the test was inconclusive. There was another angiography the next day. There was some thing left behind the earlier stent that was diificult to see. So more stents have been placed now. There has been addition of Felodipine and Ranytidine.
Avatar n tn I am a (usually) healthy 22yo male, with no history of heart problems, but for the last year I have been feeling really bad and it is driving me crazy to not be able to live my life as I used to. In the beginning I had a few panic attack where I ended up in hospital thinking I had a heart attack, but after doing EKGs the doctors said there was nothing wrong with me.
Avatar m tn I agree, but you should get into the ER or your doctor. A lot of time heart problems and jaw pain are related.
Avatar f tn HI, Jaw pain and numbness in the left arm are some of the signs of impending heart problems. Jaw pain can be one of the most excruciating pain known to man. oir woman!! You must determine the source of the pain, what is causing it. Something is putting pressure on the trgeminal nerve, it could be putting your hands in hot water, the tissue swells a little, putting pressure onthe nerve causing the pain. Are you unconsously clenching your teeth when running?
Avatar f tn It is important that you heart signals be observed when you are experiencing the pain problems. Were in having any of your pain symptoms when an EKG was done? If yes, then a longer term monitor may not yield anything new.
Avatar f tn Have the Sam e thing.Got a sinus infection that infected my eye and caused upper jaw pain. And some in my ear.
Avatar n tn Please act on it. Definitely heart problems need to be ruled out as along with carotid and jaw pain you also have fatigue and angina. Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
268356 tn?1236002604 Okay, has anyone else had jaw pain during pregnancy. I am having it on the right side and it hurts worse when I talk or when I eat. Just started today. However, jaw pain can also be a major symptom of a heart attack in women. What is your opinions. Anyone else?
Avatar n tn This has now progressed to my throat and neck where it feels swollen sometimes and now I feel it in my right cheek and jaw too. I’ve had heart palpitations and even a couple of episodes where my heart raced up to 160 bpm for up to 5 hours a couple times. I’m a little over weight but have been running 3 miles a day most days for years. I’ve also had EKGs and other evaluations over the years due to being in the military and my EKGs always come back perfect.
Avatar n tn Jaw pain could be a sign of Angina. If this is happening if he is sitting down and relaxed then I would take him to the hospital for a troponin test. Now the problem is, if his troponin was raised a week ago before the stent, then it will likely be raised still today, but should be lower. They should have the records. IF this is indeed angina, then it should get worse with exertion.
Avatar m tn I am a 26 year old male, 5'11 240 lbs. For the past 3 or 4 months I have been having intermittent left arm pain that tends to change in places where it hurts ranging from my shoulder all the way down to the tips of my fingers and anywhere in between in my arm. Some times it hurts all the way down my arm and sometimes I may just have one little spot on my arm or even finger that hurts by itself. My right arm has hurt occasionally but not very often at all.
659608 tn?1318289366 It is however more than possible that you could have an infection in your jaw, say, from an impacted or infected wisdom tooth. Tooth pain can often make the ear and neck hurt as well (just as an ear infection can make the teeth hurt...). There is also the possibility that there is nothing wrong with you dentally either and you are suffering from neuralgic pain.
Avatar f tn "Jaw" pain can be a symptom of a heart attack in women, but your pain is constant and under your chin which isn't the jaw. Symptoms of a heart attack in women is jaw pain, nausea, severe fatigue and sweating, but we can also have chest pain, arm pain and numbness. Have you had heart problems in the past? If this really concerns you then it's best to go to the ER.
5792451 tn?1390934690 If you remember, I had had a filling done, after which I developed severe jaw pain, a locked jaw and neck and shoulder pain. Several months later, I developed swollen joints in my fingers, toes and severe foot pain. This was accompanied by chronic migraine headaches, muscle pain and severe fatigue. I was finally diagnosed with Lyme disease by my cardiologist, but by then I had already had it in my body for perhaps 10 years or more.
233622 tn?1279334905 T HAVE PAIN BUT FATIGUE! I FEEL LIKE MY JAW IS CRAMPING UP SOMETIMES. OTHER TIMES IS IT JUST PLAN TOO MUCH WORK! I AM NOT TOO INTERESTED IN EATING A STEAK ANY MORE! TOO BAD THIS IS NOT HELPING ME LOSE WEIGHT! I CAN STILL EAT THINGS THAT SLIDE DOWN EASILY................
Avatar f tn But the one that would concern me to immediately rule out is a cardiovascular reason. Women in particular can have lower left jaw pain during a heart attack. Now, I know this isn't presenting exactly that way for you but still is worth checking out. If you have any other symptoms with it like shortness of breath or chest discomfort, please go to the ER. The one thing that I think is fairly common is nerve compression called Trigeminal neuralgia. This is a big reason we get jaw pain.
994817 tn?1249738278 Do I sound like a candidate for heart attack or another heart problem? Can teenagers with my history even get heart attacks? And if they can, what type of history do teenage heart attack victims usually have in order to get one? Do my symptoms sound like typical anxiety symptoms? And could I possibly be a rare case where even though my history is all good I have a serious heart problem? Or is that just pretty darn unusual? I am currently seeing a primary Dr.
Avatar f tn it could be something not as sinister, in a heart attack there is chest pain, lower jaw pain, dizziness, pain radiating down the armmainly left side, sometimes with heart disease there is a mucasey cough that lasts for months, are you healthy? have you checked your cholesterol? and bp?
Avatar f tn The only reason why I am concerned is because I have both chest and jaw pain and those are heart attack symptoms. I also have pain in both my arms. A couple days agobefore I went to the doctors I had sweating, pressure in chest, and trouble breathing Is that why the EKG came back normal because those symptoms were gone at the time?
Avatar m tn Me being a pretty cautious dude, I searched the internet to try and solve my problems. But when I saw that it was a heart attack symptom my heart sank and I had a panic attack and felt like I was going to die. After I calmed myself down and walked home and told my mum about it. She said that i should I should wait a few days until I go to the doctor. During these days I developed very very minor chest pains, that was when I knew I needed to see a doctor.
Avatar f tn This could be signs of heart problems if your getting pain up your shoulder, neck and jaw. I heard you get pain in your jaw this way. You should really go to a cardiologist to monitor your heart! Especially if heart disease runs in the family! I wish you the best.
