jaw pain ear hurts

I have had jaw pain for many days, only on one side, now i have ear and throat pain on the same side, and my jaw hurts so bad, like I had been punched (or so I assume) really har din the jaw. It hurts to eat, and I have pain in my ear and a sore throat.....can anyone give me advise? Bad sinuses? Time to go the Dr?

Then, a few days later I started to develop an ear ache in the same area. So now it hurts from my left ear down into my left jaw as well as a slight feeling of pressure above my left eye. I also can feel like post-nasal drip when it does hurt. It doesn't hurt all the time, which leads me to believe it's not just a tooth ache. It seems to hurt worse in the evening. Sometimes I can even chew on that side without it hurting. Cold makes it really bad.

omg my jaw clicks and it hurts alot when I yawn or take a bite of something like a burger or whatever ...sometimes I can't even bite down all the way. It does it all the time, worse this past 6 months or so. It's been happening for about 2 years. it's horrible. what is that??

My son was kicked in the ear. I took him to an urgent care clinic where they cleaned some blackish wax from the ear, said there was no blood or punctures of any type and sent us home. He is continuing to have severe pain and can't sleep. He also won't eat as he says it hurts to open his mouth. What could this be?

Now i'm not sure what it is, but my jaw hurts pretty bad. It's only on one side and it's where the bottom jaw and upper jaw connect on my right side. I think it might be the fact that I only chew on that side? Or it might have something to do with the weather? It started this year about a month or two ago. So any suggestions on what it is?

For the past 3 weeks, I have had pain when chewing or biting down in my right ear and in that part of my jaw just below the temple. My dentist and orthodontist have said my jaw is disaligned in the past (I look normal though), but I have never had pain. My back molars do not touch when I bite, and my front teeth bite right together with no overbite at all. However, the pain has just now come and seems worse when I sleep on my face funny. Sometimes it is so bad that it is difficult to eat.

randomly this morning i opened my jaw and my ear had a sharp pain it. everytime i would open my jaw it would happen. then after like 5 mins. it stopped completly. im worried their is fluid or soethin in my ear. it doesnt hrut when i pull my ear or anything and i can hear ok...im really worried? does anyone no!!!

The area of pain can stretch from the lower jaw area right up to my ear and can even give me neck pain. It causes pain when I open my mouth wide and always feels like the bones are 'clicking' and 'clunking' out of place. I have had phisio on the joint but that is only a stretch of the muscle and the pan is always present. None of the doctors I have seen can give me a strtaight answer.

it was really itchy inside but only the outside of the ear hurts not the inside at all. i can feel that my jaw joint has like a knot in it. its the headaches i cant stand. alot of morning i wake up with one and im guessing its due to this jaw pain. is only on left side. do i go to the dentist or dr for this? had my wisdoms out yrs ago and had a bad infection, could this have anything to do with that?

I know many people with this and it can cause headaches, neck pain, ear pain, all kinds of pain in your head/face area. First I would talk with your regular doctor then maybe a referral, if your doctor agrees, to someone who specializes in TMJ disorders. WHen they looked in my ear with a video camera type thing my fiancee says she saw some red spots that looked like colesoars! My jaw is so stiff now an my bones in my ear hurts alot. My ear feels swollen up. I am in China, so understanding what's wrong with my ear is almost impossible. So I hope someone can help me here!

Very unlikely that this mechanism could cause ear drum rupture. The jaw joint and middle ear are very close in space and when one hurts the other often does too. It's not inconceivable that your jaw itself could have been injured though. Seeing a doctor is an easy recommendation to make...

Two days ago I started to get this pain in my inner ear I have read up about the possibilities of which it could be ; Ear Infection, Swimmers Ear A Non-Burst Ear drum of a flight and a Burst Ear Drum since of these things I think that may have to go into way more detail. Firstly I was swimming in my pool under water when I heard water suction which went into my ear when I got out I tried to dispurse of this water.

I would suggest seeing a chiropractor. I have a bad disc at C5/C6 and when I get this, (also get jaw pain which can radiate into my ear) I go to my chiropractor and she fixes me right up. Good luck.

I just had a small filling done about an hour ago in the lower back molar. I am now having severe Jaw pain radiating up into the ear and around the lower jaw down into the gland area. The assistant who did the shots did something really wrong I think. I have never felt pain like that. I thought she had electrocuted me! There was a horrible nerve pain all the way up my jaw to my lip and into my ear. Then it really hurt as she was putting the rest into the jaw.

for the past couple months ive had a wierd tickling sensation deep in my left ear as well as jaw pain that comes and goes with use of ibuprofen, as of recently my left ear is extremely sensetive to sound, it feels like i have an ear infection except its been like this for over a week and my jaw hurts so bad i cant close my mouth completly on the left side with out it popping and causing severe pain.

It hurts to turn my head to the right (keep in mind it is my left ear that hurts) and touching my ear causes near vomit inducing pain. There is a spot just below my ear that if I massage it, the pain subsides for a minute or two and then starts back up. I was fine until the evening when I touched my right ear (towards the inside) and minced in pain. Also my skin is very sensitive and hurts. It hurts to open my mouth to far or to rotate my jaw around. I just found out that I do have three leaky heart valves. Could these headaches be do to the jaw popping or the heart condition?
