Then i tried itraconazole 200mg a day for a month as suggested by another friend. It cured my itch but again came back after 10 days . Then a dermatologist suggested me terbinafine and fluconazole, but it dint give much result. I tried ketoconazole soap and oitment also and it got worse. Then again I tried itraconazole 100mg twice for a month, i was cured within 10 days. But again this recurrent jock itch keeps on coming back.

I am on week four, this diet is making me miserable, and I am now taking Itraconazole. I only wanted to breathe, and I only used the inhaler 6 times total. This seems ridiculous to still have this infection, and I only want to know how to be rid of it. Can anyone please advise?

The effect had begun at day 13-14 and until 6 weeks after the end of the treatement. After, they gave me itraconazole 200 (Sporanox) during 1 week and it worked very well. So my dermatologist conclued it was atypic pityriasis versicolor. Unfortunately, now he is retired. And I am in trouble because others dermatologists say it is eczema (clinical). They dont't understand why Triflucan works with me. They never treated me until the rash completely disappear.

So i am looking at trying the Selsun blue maximum or the tinactin foot spray. I have read that the contents in those two are good to try. I am looking for more products or more effective products. My spots do not itch they just like get a little red swollen a little it looks like and then the skin like starts to peal and it goes plan white. no red ring or anything so i know its not ring worms. I saw a dermatologist last week who gave me 200mg Itraconazole and lotriderm cream (clotrimazole), he told me everything would be cleared up in one week but after 5 days I haven't seen any real improvement.
Is this definitely fungal?
If so, why hasn't it responded to treatment? I've used daktarin powder and cream in the past and still my inner thighs felt rough.

I am a 24 year old male, generally healthy. About 6 months ago I noticed that 1 of my fingernails started to yellow in the corners at the distal part of my nail, at the site of yellowing the nail also got hardened. With time, the same happened in some of my other fingernails ( but stayed well demarcated at the corners. Also, both my toenails show a slow regression in the line where the nail is attached to the nail bed.

I consulted another Urologist and he saw it again and said that it was normal infection. He suggested be Augmentin and ITRACONAZOLE capsules. and also advised to apply Betadine on the head of the penis and the foreskin.
I followed that, the blisters have gone now, but I have red rashes (not wrinkles but lines and dotes) on the head of the penis. They seem to be more visible when the penis is erect. Also, if I apply betadine for 2-3 days, skin of the head becomes dry and gets wrinkles.

hello, I've taken the itraconazole pill and candid-v3(a vaginal insert) for 3 days as prescribed by my doctor and i finished my treatment yesterday. but it still seems that i have some white watery discharge today, i have no itchiness nor whatsoever. does this mean that the pill is still taking some time to fully cure me or did it not work completely? or could the discharge be from the candid-v3 pill from yesterday?

She probably needs to be on the Itraconazole for a few months as well as using an antifungal spray or cream. There is Dactaryl oral gel for fungus in the mouth that can be purchased without a prescription. Nystatin oral drops are only on prescription in the UK.
It would be a good idea for her to have her blood checked for any signs of glucose intolerance or diabetes.
Have you seen a doctor about this? You're treating it as if it's a fungal infection, but you may have eczema, just really dry skin, an allergic reaction, or something else.
After 7 years, it's time to see a doctor and get this properly treated. If you've been seeing a doctor who has been treating you like this for 7 years, find a new doctor.
Then I went for a check up and the doctor prescribed me itraconazole 100 mg and terbinafine 250 mg oral solution and Luliconazole cream. Infection was cured completely. But now again it has appeared on my body. Specifically on my neck. I am having the same oral solution and using Clotrimazole topical cream. But it's not effective like before. Instead of being cured it's spreading. I am also using ketoconazole soap for bathing.
I am currently being treated by an infectious disease doctor, and he has me taking 100mg of Itraconazole per day. The name brand for Itraconazole is Sporanox. I still have this yeast infection! The medicine has not helped me yet. Why is this happening? I don't understand why merely taking an antibiotic for a sinus infection caused me to get a yeast infection that I just cannot get rid of? If there are other people that are in the same situation, please respond to my post.
I went to the doctor and did a lab exam so thats how i found out.. I was given itraconazole and clotrimazole, during the treatment everything was ok but five days after treatment stopped it came back.. The skin around my lips got itchy and sensitive and i noticed very small blisters that are transparent in color appear on the border of my lips and a few in my actual lip area... I am very worried why it is coming back despite the treatment... Has anyone experienced thos before?
Have a Dermatologist or your GP submit a punch biopsy to the lab to review for fungal infections too.
I suffered for the past year with a rash-like infection that 22 different types of doctors could not identify. The rash began with small bumps on the thighs, fevers, strange looking hairs on my scalp, legs, arms, chin, eyebrows and eye lashes. The bumps turned into ulcers which would not heal even though I was prescribed 10 different anti-bacterial antibiotics over the past year.
