Hello,
I got infected at the end of 2016.
Symptoms included, whitish discharge, tingling and needles if the penis head was pinched, also really strong odor(fishy).
Doctor, gave me " SECNIDAZOLE 1G" to take once, along "DOXYCYCLINE 200mg twice a day" for ten days and then to repeat 1g secnidazole on the tenth day.
I did as asked.
The symptoms got really mild, but still the smell and odor was present.
What is the connection between itraconazole and hemmorhagic stroke in an otherwise healthy male with no pre-existing conditions to cause a stroke?

Then i tried itraconazole 200mg a day for a month as suggested by another friend. It cured my itch but again came back after 10 days . Then a dermatologist suggested me terbinafine and fluconazole, but it dint give much result. I tried ketoconazole soap and oitment also and it got worse. Then again I tried itraconazole 100mg twice for a month, i was cured within 10 days. But again this recurrent jock itch keeps on coming back.
However, if the patient remains symptomatic after 4 weeks, therapy with itraconazole, 200 mg daily for 6 to 12 weeks, can be given. Patients who have severe outbreak-associated histoplasmosis and all immunosuppressed patients should be treated. Initial therapy with amphotericin B, 0.7 to 1 mg/kg daily, can be followed by oral itraconazole after a favorable response is noted. Antifungal therapy should be given to all patients with chronic pulmonary histoplasmosis.
I am on week four, this diet is making me miserable, and I am now taking Itraconazole. I only wanted to breathe, and I only used the inhaler 6 times total. This seems ridiculous to still have this infection, and I only want to know how to be rid of it. Can anyone please advise?
if a patient is allergic to itraconazole, is i safe for her to take voriconazole?
Hi, I am 28 years Old Un married girl, I am a virgin, have not done sex yet & I am facing a problem of Light Brown or sometimes dark brown colour discharge from Vagina from last One year. I visited Doctor as well. She said it might be an infection , so she recommended a combination of anti-biotics[Azithromycin (250 mg)6Capsules, Secnidazole(1000 gms)2tablets & Fluconazole(150 mg)1 capsule] to remove the infection.
The effect had begun at day 13-14 and until 6 weeks after the end of the treatement. After, they gave me itraconazole 200 (Sporanox) during 1 week and it worked very well. So my dermatologist conclued it was atypic pityriasis versicolor. Unfortunately, now he is retired. And I am in trouble because others dermatologists say it is eczema (clinical). They dont't understand why Triflucan works with me. They never treated me until the rash completely disappear.
Does antifungals agents (like flukonazole, itraconazole etc.) taken in pills works in the digestive tract?
Can these drugs destroy adrenal?
I saw a dermatologist last week who gave me 200mg Itraconazole and lotriderm cream (clotrimazole), he told me everything would be cleared up in one week but after 5 days I haven't seen any real improvement.
Is this definitely fungal?
If so, why hasn't it responded to treatment? I've used daktarin powder and cream in the past and still my inner thighs felt rough.

I am a 24 year old male, generally healthy. About 6 months ago I noticed that 1 of my fingernails started to yellow in the corners at the distal part of my nail, at the site of yellowing the nail also got hardened. With time, the same happened in some of my other fingernails ( but stayed well demarcated at the corners. Also, both my toenails show a slow regression in the line where the nail is attached to the nail bed.

hi, i have been in a marriage for four years,we have two kids,recently i was diagnosed with pyelonephritis and was admitted 3times and given rocephine to treat the infection all 3 times a day before i got out of hospital my husband fel very ill and i got outr of hosp and bought him over the counter ercefuryl and secnidazole,then right after the diarrhoea episode he got a horrible cough and the doc prescribed azythromycin tablets for 3days...we never has sex until he got much better..
I asked the doctor what I should do, he prescribed me with 150mg of Minocycline per day, Secnidazole 400mg once per month, Tramadol Hydrocholoride 100mg twice daily, Olive leaf/cats claw/ baical skullcap/eleuth mix and some probiotics.
I asked him how long to take this for, he literally said "forever". He had no real advice and I don't know what to do from this point.
I consulted another Urologist and he saw it again and said that it was normal infection. He suggested be Augmentin and ITRACONAZOLE capsules. and also advised to apply Betadine on the head of the penis and the foreskin.
I followed that, the blisters have gone now, but I have red rashes (not wrinkles but lines and dotes) on the head of the penis. They seem to be more visible when the penis is erect. Also, if I apply betadine for 2-3 days, skin of the head becomes dry and gets wrinkles.

hello, I've taken the itraconazole pill and candid-v3(a vaginal insert) for 3 days as prescribed by my doctor and i finished my treatment yesterday. but it still seems that i have some white watery discharge today, i have no itchiness nor whatsoever. does this mean that the pill is still taking some time to fully cure me or did it not work completely? or could the discharge be from the candid-v3 pill from yesterday?

Have you seen a doctor about this? You're treating it as if it's a fungal infection, but you may have eczema, just really dry skin, an allergic reaction, or something else.
After 7 years, it's time to see a doctor and get this properly treated. If you've been seeing a doctor who has been treating you like this for 7 years, find a new doctor.
I'm 19 years old ,,, I always feel lightheaded and very dizzy ,and i have a feeling of palpitations and Tachycardia ... i have stomach problems such as feeling of fullness , bloating and feeling Nausea ,, i've asked a doctor since a month ,, he told me that i have Amoebiasis and Ascaris .. Then I went for a check up and the doctor prescribed me itraconazole 100 mg and terbinafine 250 mg oral solution and Luliconazole cream. Infection was cured completely. But now again it has appeared on my body. Specifically on my neck. I am having the same oral solution and using Clotrimazole topical cream. But it's not effective like before. Instead of being cured it's spreading. I am also using ketoconazole soap for bathing.
