4801019 tn?1359345412 Well, first of al my name is Chris & I'm a healthy 29 yr old male & my height is 6"8 & I weigh about 245lbs, no diabetes, no high blood pressure, only have Asthma & Migraines from time to time. This all started like a little over 11 months ago with me being diagnosed with a Bladder Infection. My doctor put me on antibiotics ranging from Bactrim, Cipro, Z-Pack & another one that I cannot remember.
Avatar n tn I have this itchy urethra and it feels really uncomfortable when I urine. The flesh around the urethra is swollen. I constantly have to go back to the toilet and then I only urine like 3 drops. This itchy feeling is uncomfortable. Do I have an infection or UTI or something?
Avatar n tn Lately my urethra has been itchy from the base of the scrotum all the way throughout the penis. I have no other symtoms or discharge, just the itching. I have gotten treated for chlamydia about six months ago. I took zithromax to kill the bacteria. Other than that, my health is been generally fine. What are some possibilities or treatments for this? Is it safe to say the chlamydia is gone?
Avatar m tn when your spouse has a yeast (bacterial) infection can you develop itchy penis/scrotum.
Avatar m tn About a week ago, I started experiencing some symptoms - swollen groin lymph nodes, itchy urethra, my temperature has been elevated and inside of my urethra looked red. A few days after that, I saw the most troubling symptom... what seems like really tiny clear blisters within the urethra(perhaps 1mm in size). I've experienced very very slight burning, some clearish, brown discharge and dribbling when I pee.
Avatar f tn I did not urinate until about an hour or so afterwards. The next morning/afternoon i started to get an itchy urethra right at the tip and also the frequent urge to urinate. I had no other symptoms. The itchy urethra tip and urge to urinate lasted about a week and it was nothing major. Now 3 months later it seems that it is slighty itchy again and i am curious what it might be.
Avatar m tn The urethra of my penis is itchy Yellowish, whitish discharge (I just noticed this today for the first time, so it's not a lot) Burning when I pee I figured I might have a yeast infection, but information for men on this topic is terrible on the internet, so I was wondering if anyone on here might have any idea of what's going on? There's no rash, no blisters, no itchy red bumps, no discolored skin, my testicles aren't painful or swollen, etc etc.
Avatar f tn It could be a urinary tract infection or a yeast infection. They could come from masturbation if you are doing something that targets the urethra (don't put anything up it, for example) and especially if you touch yourself with your fingers without being a thousand percent scrupulous about washing your hands really well before you masturbate. The hands actually have more dangerous stuff on them than your lady parts do. UTIs can be addressed by home remedies, though sometimes they need more.
Avatar m tn A week later, started experiencing slight burn after urination, the need to urinate a bit more, itchy/red scrotum. Fast forward 9 weeks, I’ve been cleared of any/all STIs, my prostate is fine, and all of the UAs I’ve taken have come back normal (though I was on a week of cipro and a week of doxy when it took two of them). I went to a urologist 3 weeks ago and was told to limit alcohol, spices, etc, which I did. And sadly it didn’t help.
Avatar m tn Do you know what might that infection be? Right now, instead of burning sensation, it's more like itchy, on the opening of the urethra. Other than that, another thing is I felt like I'm having a lil hard time to urinate, when I urinate I felt a really strong force pushing on the opening of the urethra. Thanks!
Avatar m tn I have been taking Harnal D and Toviaz for last few months and there is relief from burning slightly. But last month onwards I find my urethea itchy. I went to urologist. Urine test came clear. Ultrasound was done. Size of of prostate was normal. The urologist took a sample of prostate fluid in a slide after massage and found some infection through his microscope. I am on antibiotics. After this encounter I tested for all STDs. I am positive for Herpes HSV-1 and negative for HSV-2 Igg.
Avatar f tn Hi if you had unprotected sex and got this discharge and urethra itching about a week later , it would suggest and std and with the urethra itching could indicate chlamydia as with gono you would have big time burning while urinating. see a doc and have a urine test or urethra swab.
Avatar f tn but what about that I mentioned nowadays i feel little itchy and red also just around near urethra(tips of penis) isn’t it any Stds symptoms? Do i need to go for test all Stds) Or is it just fungal infection, can i use over there clotrimazole cream(antifungal cream)? from today I stopped to use soap there while shower to check also. Thankyou so much..
Avatar m tn Maybe a week later I had a itchy urethra and a slight ache in my testicular. I have tested negative for everything. HIV,HSV1&2,Syph,Gonno,Trichamonasis,Chlamydia and other bacteria infections. I have also taken a number of antibiotics for the above mentioned STD'S. I have also had the camera placed in my urethra as well. Over the course of three in a half years, I have taken test for all the listed STD'S well over 5 times.
Avatar m tn I was sitting down and I noticed a slight white discharge from my penis and lately I have also had an itchy urethra (slightly under the head) and a small amount of burning when I urinate. Also, the discharge happened late at night it wasn't when I woke up but just when I was sitting down. During sex my girlfriend has had very thick white lotion like discharge during sex and I wasn't sure if it was just a yeast infection or normal (other girlfriends in the past have had this).
Avatar m tn Two weeks of this, I went to the doctors and he said it was a yeast infection. He prescribed a cream (clotrimazole). Once I started taking that, I started to get a sharp pain every now and then in my urethra and and itch every now and then too. Two weeks of taking the clotrimazole, it seems to be getting less red but the occasional itch and pain in the urethra is still there. I had a recent bloating feeling and soreness in my lower abdomen and sides. What could this be>?
Avatar n tn Itchy urethra can be a sign of a UTI or a trichomonas infection, again transmitted sexually, and needs treatment with metronidazole (Flagyl). Infection and type of treatment will depend on organism identified. Ensure that you keep your fluid intake over 2000 ml per day and avoid irritants such as caffeine and alcohol. Adding citrus fruits and juices to diet can also wash out any existing infection as it acidifies the urine and helps in flushing the bacteria out of the urinary tract.
Avatar m tn She showed symptoms of possible yeast infection itchy vagina small clumps of kind of cottage cheese like discharge no smell. They were on vacation in and out of pool and jacuzzi and on the beach could she have a yeast infection and have nothing to do with his other encounter? Men don't transfer yeast infection to a woman correct? Doesn't sound like a std on her part?
Avatar m tn The final symptom is the opening of my urethra is slightly red and Irritated, when I open the urethra, the wall of the urethra is smooth, but white. Once again, I have no discharge nor does it burn when I urinate. I've used antifungals, cortisone and lotions to relieve psorasis. The dr seemed to think it was fungal but it hasn't gone away no matter what I do. My question is, Is It possible that I have a yeast infection and if it is, what can I do about it?
Avatar m tn After a week the pain while passing urine was gone but there was still a little pain and an itchy feeling at the end of the urethra, plus the little drop when I didn't pee for a longer time or when I woke up. The lady had no problems. I've been checked for chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, Non-Specific Urethritis and bladder infection - all negative. I had been given antibiotics before the results came back.
396332 tn?1320003615 I have been having a burning sensation in my urethra along with a itchy sensation in the groin. I went to my doctor and had a urine STD test for chlamydia/ gonnerhea and UTI along with what ever else they test for. All came back negative and the doctor looked at my area 2 times with in the last two weeks for any visible sign of any other STD and said everything looks normal and I should not be worried about STDs. Now im wondering what the hell else would cause this sensation.
Avatar m tn A week ago my doctor gave me doxycycline hydrate to fight off an infection that is causing me to have a itchy urethra. My doctor did not do a swap test or anything but thought i had a bacterial infection. Present day ( a week of the medication) I still feel the itchiness and am thinking that I have a yeast infection. I've heard eating yogurt can help fight it, but what about dairy free yogurt? Would eating one container of dairy free yogurt help?
Avatar n tn Hello, Thanks for posting your query. I can understand your concern for the itching sensation and pain in tip of the penis with no visible rash. First of all, prostatitis which has not been ruled out in your case till now should be ruled out. It is an inflammation of the prostate gland. The typical symptoms of prostatitis are fever, pelvic, testicle, or rectal pain, frequent and painful urination and ejaculation and incomplete emptying of bladder.
Avatar n tn No discharge and no infection in the inner skin of my foreskin or tip of my penis.there is occasional pain in my urethra i once went for a swab and the doctors found no infection there. what could be my problem could this be athletes foot infection that has gone around my body coz my skin is also itchy sometimes???
Avatar n tn It could be something called NGU, which is really just an infection in your urethra. Normal mouth bacteria can enter your urethra during oral sex and cause this. You should go to your doc, an std clinic or planned parenthood and get tested. Make sure they look for white blood cells in your urine.
