You can buy from the pharmacist a cream that is used for Thrush and also a one dose oral capsule called Fluconazole 150mg. The doctor can also prescribe these. As a home remedy, bathe in a bath with a couple of handfuls of oats. And apply natural yogurt (the set kind is better as it is less runny and messy). Yogurt helps to cool down the itchiness and also helps to bring down the inflammation. You can also eat the yogurt too.
I have an itchy throat with dry cough. My voice is affected . I melted lozenges for my throat and gargled with warm salt water , still it's uncomfortable. What natural remedy can I relieve myself of this itchy throat, dry cough with a low unusual sound of my voice? Thanks.
I sense relief then the symptoms return. Most days I can hear but am constantly aware that my ears are itchy. The challenge is to not itch. If I itch, I usually get flaky stuff that I literally can lift off my inner ear.If I itch too much it becomes wet and begins draining a wet clear fluid. Then at night, whatever side I lay on clogs shut. In the morning there is thick crusty crud that again I try not to pick at. Im obviously in continual circle of symptoms here.

One of the most common symptoms is the need to keep clearing your throat. If it is more severe reflux, you can have hoarseness and chronic severe sore throat as well. Coughing, especially at night, is another very common symptom. You could try some OTC Prilosec while you wait to see your doctor again.
It is a long story, similar to the many I have read about on numerous websites, sans the cure part. It started about 10 years ago or so with an occasional itchy throat and occasional cough, sneeze, or throat clearing. It continued to evolve through the years to get worse and worse, so that eventually it was debilitating, i.e., there was no normal life left.

I'm a 23 year old male and I've had a chronic sore throat for over 5 months now. It's driving me out of my mind.. Please help me where my other Doctors have not.. I've been tested for allergies and I've had a few allergies to trees indiginous to my location. But upon use of Clarinex, Allegra, Zyrtec, etc. I received no relief. I had a Barium swallow which showed reflux.. I was treated with 40 mg Nexium, twice a day. This did not help.
Recently I havent even be able to use my usual lip balm as my lips react to that as well and my eyes are puffing up and getting extremly itchy and stinging. I was heading overseas for 3 weeks and the doctor have me some tablets to take to clear up my lips as she said they looked like they had a staff infection. Whilst I was OS all my symptoms cleared up completely and within 2 days of returing home everything started up again!
I too have suffered in the last 5 years from too much mucous in the throat. I am doing a good deal of research and I am now trying a holistic approach - Apple Cider Vinegar (must be unpasturized/raw/unfiltered/). The dosage is 2 tsp. before each meal or diluted with water and drank during the meal (you'd have to love vinegar to drink it during your meal - o-o-o-o-o no, not me). Anyway, I am giving it a try and will keep you all posted on how this works.
I have the same situation. It started a little while after I gave birth. It is only an itchy inner labia. No other side affects. I was tested for a yeast and bacteria infections. My ob-gyn has no clue (I went to 2). It comes and goes and is itchy!! I can not figure this out!!!
It began in 1976 and re occurs every 5 to 6 years. I get a sore throat (not tonsils but when you swallow) I now go straight on antibiotics and use Bricanyl inhaler although it doesnt seem to have much effect except to cause alot of mucus coughed up from the lungs. It causes me to have spasm coughing and if I cannot control this to 3 or 4 coughs my windpipe closes over making it hard to breath in or out.
For I too have had this horrible itchy cough accompanied (sometimes) by an inflamed throat that comes and goes. The itchy coughing is especially present at night or when it's getting be evening around 5 pm. The docs keep prescribing medication that won't really help. But I hope someone figures out what the hell is going on becuase I'm heading into my second month of misery. To top it off, I've caught a second cold and have a recurrence of my second cold sore this year. It's big and ugly.
here i go....so for the last 6 months i have had itchy eyelids...my eye doctor told me it was due to mild allergies and prescribed eye drops which didnt help in the least so i turned to over the counter allergy medicine which hasn't helped either (so i dont think it's allergies) and in the last 3 weeks not only are my eyelids itchy but when i wake up in the morning my upper eye lids are bright red and swelled up so bad that its embarassing!!!!
Hi I have exactly the same thing red, itchy, burns when i apply any creams went and got allergy tests done and nothing came back comes up bad after a night out, beginning to think its spirits - its only happened in the last 6 months skin red, tight, and itchy if you have any look let me know
I treated myself for pinworm, roundworm, tried garlic and every home remedy i could find. I feel them all over my body and they dont bite that much. The spider web feeling is not to bad for me. I've been to tons of doctors and some think that i am crazy. But the weirdest and pretty damn scary stuff is one day i was drinking orange soda and had real bad stomach pains then in my chest and i felt like something was stuck in my throat. I started coughing and out came an all white spider.
After taking the penicillin for your strep throat, you may need a one dose oral capsule called Fluconazole or an antifungal cream. Taking antibiotics can bring on Thrush that can make you feel itchy and sore. As a home remedy if you get those symptoms, is to apply natural set live yogurt. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
THE FACTS Nothing but time can cure the common cold, but a simple cup of salt water might ease the misery this winter. A sore, itchy throat and respiratory congestion are some of the more common symptoms of a cold, and gargling with salt water seems to help for several reasons. A saline solution can draw excess fluid from inflamed tissues in the throat, making them hurt less, said Dr. Philip T. Hagen, editor in chief of the “Mayo Clinic Book of Home Remedies,” which is due out in October.
Welcome to Part 6! Please make yourself at home!
Thrush likes warm, dark and damp and the right PH levels for it to multiply. Eating natural yogurt is good too. I have tried the home remedy and it definitely does work. When you wipe your bottom, make sure (no doubt you do anyway) you wipe from front to back. Eat a healthy well balanced diet with fresh fruit and veg. Avoid refined foods like cakes, biscuits etc. Drink lots of water 2-3 litres per day is usually recommended.
Hence you need a prescription from the doctor. At home as a home remedy you can apply natural yogurt to the area, this helps to cool down the itchy and the inflammation. Hope you get sorted out soon, I thought I was allergic to underwear elastic and looking back should have sought a remedy from the doctor sooner. It is very hard, as you already know when the eczema itches. But the more you scratch, the more the skin gets damaged. Best wishes.
He has a constant sore throat and burning eyes. It all started and seemed worse while working from home in has tiny office. His doctor said it was probably dust and mold. We pulled the carpeting out and installed a laminate floor and put in a complete new A/C with all new duct work, and cleaned and painted the office. He then thought is might be all the electronics and moved those into another room, still no relief. He is getting to the end of his rope.We live down here in Florida.
As well as the antifungal/antibacterial cream, you may benefit from applying a moisturiser that is suitable for that area, like Dibrobase, Doublebase, Demol. As a home remedy you can bathe with a couple of handfuls of oats in the bath and also apply natural live yogurt. The yogurt cools down the inflamed skin and will help to stop the itching. Drink more water, 2-3 litres is usually recommended, more it is hot or you workout. Consume natural live yogurt to help boost your good bacteria.
Please make yourself at home in Part 31 ...
Hi everyone! Welcome to Part 14! Please come in and make yourself at home. We're all glad you made it here.
she has been on her PC day and night for the past 1 1/2 years trying to find some relief for me. I have tried every home remedy out there. Doctors are telling me to learn to live with the burning, but that's very easy for them to say. They are not in pain 90% every passing day. I am at my wits end and will be grateful for any advice you can give me. I don't know if these things are related, but I am very tired all of the time, I have chronic insomnia, my whole body aches.
Please make yourself at home and snuggle down. It will be a bit bumpy, but worth it!
