Common Questions and Answers about Itchy skin sore muscles

sore

My husband age 59 has been experiencing burning, prickly itchy skin at random times but mostly during the evening. He has the sensation of pins and needles pricking his skin from the inside out. This mostly occurs on his arms or legs or back, but not concurrently. First it was his legs then it moved to his back and currently the problem is on his arms. The sensation will be symetrical, i.e. both arms. The prickling turns into severe itching with sensations of pin pricking pain.
A few days later a skin infection came out around my lips(not itchy, peeled wen i didnt put cream on it and neva bled). It seemed like stuck on skin and when i put cream on it, the skin was coming off exposing my normal skin underneath it. The skin infection cleared after three days of fuisidic cream treatment and my sore throat was gone but the glands are still there.
My 35 year old wife has had very <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>sore</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>muscles</span> and the souls of her feet have been very itchy over the last 3 days. Does anyone know what could cause this combination of symptoms? It's mainly upper body muscle aches and her hands are especially sore. It feels like she has been gripping something for hours and they seem fatigued. Any insight or advice would be appreciated. It's off to the doctor tomorrow but in the meantime it would be great to have some ideas. Thanks.
My lower left abdomen is swollen and sore to the touch. The bump is itchy and also <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>sore</span> to the touch. Anyone know what's going on?? Any of you who have been to the doctor, can you share what you've been told?
I have had herpes before, but with this pain I don't get any rash or blisters, just such <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>sore</span> skin. I also can't sit on the toilet especially if its cold. It sounds like if you are run down or stressed the pain comes. Not sure what to do about it though.
hi I have had several autoimmune like symptoms and when they occur I get itchy. I too get pain but usually in <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>muscles</span> (rather than joints) but have a itchy feeling right before a bad occurance. Before I get nodosum erythema I itch real bad in the exact same spot as where it occurs. So, I have come to think that the itching is a autimmune response but from what I have read is common to several autoimmune diseases ( for example lupus and allergies).

My symptoms, to refresh your memory, are <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>sore</span> skin on my penis, especially on the head. The skin between my legs and scrotum is irritated, and feels like it is rubbed raw. The texture of the skin on the head of my penis seems to have gotten wrinkly? Wierd. Also, does alcohol counteract the effects of nizoral? Thanks.
I've been suffering with Fibromyalgia for supposedly 3yrs but only recently been diagnosed last June 09, so I'm quite new to all this, especially the skin conditions that go with it. I also have a skin rash which is different to the one on my hands, this is around my neck, shoulders and slightly on my chest, this one looks more like eczema, when I'm hot it flairs up and goes all bright red, which is soo embarrassing when I'm out.
I have not had a doctor confirm I might have spastic <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>muscles</span>, but I have had issues with both behind my right knee and my right shoulder and neck. Right now it is my shoulder & neck. This is the 3rd or 4th time in the last year that I've had this. Basically, it starts off as a sore neck, almost like I slept weird. Over a period of time, usually days, it will get increasingly tight feeling and more uncomfortable. Then it will gradually start to ease. This time started on Saturday.

My arms, and only my arms, have itched for 10 years. no rashes, no psiorias, excema etc. The creams, allergery pills..my list is extensive as to what I have tried but nothing worked. ---------------The only thing that helps are ice packs.
When I woke up this morning, my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>muscles</span> were <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>sore</span> in that arm, all the way up to my shoulder. It's only a little itchy now, but mainly really sore, both the skin and what seems like the muscle underneath. Any ideas?
It sometimes feels like a knife cutting pain, sometimes it feels like a layer of skin is ripping off, sometimes it doesn't hurt unless I rub on it and then the skin has pain. The pain usually goes away when I get up and walk around but the numbness stays. It happens a lot when I first wake up, and occasionally the pain wakes me up. Finally, a family doctor actually listened to my symptoms and sent me for an xray.
It came with cold chills, weakness, very <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>sore</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>muscles</span> and a temperature of 100 but was maintained at 98.6 by using tylenol. the following day thing began to get better but I had taken of work for the next 3 days to be certain. on about the third day I broke out in a severe rash all over my body, My hands and feet began to swell and i decided to go to the Dr. The Doc prescribed Prednizone 6 day session. I took this and the rash got better but never completely disappeared.
I also have psoriasis, although it is very mild compared with some cases, so I am used to having to deal with itchy skin, but this is something different. I haven't been anywhere exotic or know of anyone else with the symptoms. I have had some emotional stresses over the past 2 months. Another symptom I am experiencing is a tight chest and difficulty breathing. Does anyone have anything similar and do youthink it is worth visitng my GP?
I have tried the string but it cut into my skin and made me more <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>sore</span> and it bled. At first it was turning blue but then the next day it looked more pink again. The string was still tight was it seemed to be swelling. Did I do something wrong? Please, any suggestions would help.
You would've aad obvious cold <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>sore</span> with a day or two of prodromal symptoms
The other possibility is of dermatitis skin. Hives (medically known as urticaria) are red, itchy, raised areas of skin that appear in varying shapes and sizes. They have a tendency to change size rapidly and to move around, disappearing in one place and reappearing in other places, often in a matter of hours. Many cases of hives are "idiopathic," meaning no cause is known. Others may be triggered by viral infections or medications.
Shamefully, for almost 8 years I have been getting very small itchy blisters on various spots on my arms and legs. The small blisters develop and immediately itch intensely, which is how I know they're there. They have a clear fluid inside, with no puss. When I scratch them in my sleep or when they break, they often weep a little amber colored liquid. Also, when I scratch them, more tiny blisters will develop around the original blister, signifying an infection.
It started several months ago with one and know have two or three around each ankle. They are itchy for a week or two then subside leaving the skin darkened where the pimple was. I think that they may be caused be resulting from a bacterial or fungal infection.
I have the same situation. It started a little while after I gave birth. It is only an itchy inner labia. No other side affects. I was tested for a yeast and bacteria infections. My ob-gyn has no clue (I went to 2). It comes and goes and is itchy!! I can not figure this out!!!
However, 3 days after the exposure, I developed a rash on my back that is still there until today (after 9 weeks) along with an itchy skin all over my body! I got an itching sensation in different areas of my body including feet, legs, head, hands, arms, and of course back and shoulders although only the back and shoulders area were waxed! The rash I have is a frightening average to large bumps.
I havent heard of a hemmheriod skin tage before.I have known other people with regular skin tags that looked like moles that had them removed. They didnt say it much.I guess if it's in the anal area it may be a bit more painful though.
My penis recently broke out with skin ripping off (exposing a bright pink underneath skin) which has burned very bad, the rim around the penis on the right side is swollen and is producing a white goo (could be fungus), it has an odd odor and the cracked skin spread throughout the head of my penis and now it burns every time I have to go use the bathroom, and my boxers constantly stick to the penis where the cracks are trying to heal only re-ripping the skin.
This is my 3rd time on tx and I have areas on my thighs where the skin healed after the completion of my first round of tx, but came back as an itchy scaly spots about 1.5" in diameter in two places. When I inject in the belly I get large bright red spots that take several weeks to go away. I have had to use the belly alot more because I am afraid of irritating the areas in the thigh. Hope you find something to help.
today, 1 day later (September 10th), I noticed that the bumps on my vaginal lips look like they have risen more to the surface, and resemble large pimples. They are also more <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>sore</span> than they had been, although less itchy. I also continue to feel a tingling/tickly sensation under the skin on my vaginal lips. This sensation is different from the itchiness that I was describing, which felt like it was more on the surface and was much more severe of a feeling.
I have had the same symptoms (red swollen eyelids, both top and bottom, red swelling on the skin to the outside of the eyes, flakey, dry itchy too) for about 5 weeks. I thought it was becuase I am newly pregnant (hormones?) - have tried the baby soap and have been not wearing makeup, washed all my makeup brushes, changed pillow case more often and nothing is helping. However, Aveeno HAND cream does help with the dryness and itching a bit, but it does not cure it.
