341551 tn?1266980730 At first it was just on my legs and now it has gotten worse and its pretty much everywhere but my neck and face. Looks like a rash..small bumps, very itchy and when I itch them really bad they turn red. It seems to get worse everyday! I'm not allergic to anything and I haven't changed anything in my diet or used any new lotions or body washes or anything like that. Really the only thing that has changed is, I had a baby! So I didn't know if it was hormonal ?
Avatar n tn Hi, This could be an allergic reaction to the Macrobid called hives. It is listed as one of the possible side effects of the drug. Vaginal itching and discharge is also a listed side effect as also rust or dark colored urine. ref:http://www.drugs.com/macrobid.html Hives are red, itchy welts or swellings on the skin that often come in clusters. Hives can appear anywhere on the body, cropping up either in one small area or covering large patches of skin.
Avatar f tn Where are you scratching? Please get checked out, this happened to me postpartum and 8 weeks later I'm still suffering with Pemphigoid Gestationis, a rare skin condition! It's very itchy and painful and I was in hospital on a morphine and antibiotic drip for 11 days so please get yourself checked out as its more common during pregnancy.
Avatar f tn But one night my skin was so itchy. I thought it was just dry skin so in the dark I got up and put more lotions on. Woke up early the next morning to shower, saw myself naked in the mirror and freaked out!!!! It was like I got mauled by a hungry best and tiger fighting over a carcass!! It's true what drs say. Lotions don't really help. You will either get them or you won't.
1222635 tn?1366396286 im almost 2 weeks postpartum and im covered in a weird rash...it LOOKS like a heat rash, but i don't think it is because it's every area of my legs and on my forearms stomach back and hips....its not just in crevices or on the back of my knees. its not very itchy, the only part that really itches a little is where it is the worst, on the top of my stomach..anyone else experienced this or know what it could be? i have no health insurance other than medicaid..

2075786 tn?1342908758 I also had a very traumatic birth and am having a rough recovery with tons of complications, so thinking of being pregnant and having to go through that again makes my skin crawl!!
3129009 tn?1344190733 t look amazing, my body looks like its been through a war zone. I hate my body, I hate my skin. I feel ruined. My stomach is so scary looking I can hardly look at it, but yet its all I think about. I was prepared for the stretch marks. I had no idea that my skin would sag... I really think I need to talk to someone that knows what i'm going through, someone who has ” twin skin”. I truly am getting more and more depressed about this as the days go by. I feel so alone, like no one understands.
Avatar n tn Hi, What are the symptoms you are having? Could you explain your query in detial? Pregnancy related allergy reaction are known and seen anytime in pregnancy. They present with lesions anywhere in the body and are relieved with end of pregnancy and anti-allergics. How are you doing now? Have you consulted an allergy specialist for your symptoms? Have you had any benefit from calamine lotion and antihistamine medications?
Avatar n tn I gave birth 7 days ago to my daughter &now i am very itchy and sore down there. i am also having a greenish discharge along with bleeding. I have been using the spray bottle the hospital gave me to cleanse the area and chilled witch hazel pads to ease the itching and burning. After delivery I hemorrhaged and lost about 3 liters of blood. Could this have anything to do with my itching/pain/discharge or could I possibly have an infection?
