itchy

1939607 tn?1324289300 I called my doctor and told him the whole story and he is of the opinion that the skin irritation has caused the lump and the pain. He told me that lymphoma causes larger lumps that are painful to the touch. Also, he said that it is usually accompanied by other symptoms such as fatigue, fevers, anorexia etc. I am not convinced though. Can something so simple as a skin irritation because of deodorant/shaving cause a lump? I am scared to death and I don't know how to treat it.
Avatar f tn I thought maybe dry skin because the weather is changing, but I saw something about lymphoma cancer and a symptom is itchy skin so I started worrying. The itch came out of no where and it feels under the skin. I can't seem to ease the itch. If it is just my right arm what could it be!?!

Avatar n tn I am a 42 year old male who suffers from health anxiety. I have had itchy skin all over for 2 months which my doctor says is down to health anxiety and nothing to worry about. I had an infection that caused my lymph nodes to swell a couple of months ago and was convinced I had Lymphoma and have been really anxious now for nearly 3 months all blood tests came back fine and swelling has gone have been checked by specialist, although I have still had itching which my GP says is somatic.
444937 tn?1307226385 I still have the enlarged nodes and am now experiencing fatigue, breathlessness and itchy skin, particularly on my legs. A few weeks ago my ankles were so itchy it was almost unbearable, and there was no reason for it such as bites or a rash. I am therefore concerned about having lymphoma. I have an appointment anyway to see another GP about another matter in 4 weeks (I cannot get in to see her any sooner) and intend to ask her for a second opinion.

Avatar f tn Does anyone have any remedy for the burning and itching caused by non Hodgkins lymphoma cancer? I am going crazy and want to rip my skin off my body. Avatar f tn I noticed it because the skin was slightly raised. It looked like a ring of red skin bumps. It has never itched or been scaly, and it never had a "target." I first noticed it on February 28, 2018. Dead winter where I live, so a tick bite seems unlikely? It has grown bigger in diameter and is no longer a red ring, but a horseshoe shape. Still bumps, still not itchy or scaly. It doesn't hurt and no new patches have occurred.

Avatar n tn Is thislymphoma of the skin? When he says lymphoma is he talking about lymphoma in general or just lymphoma of the skin? He also mentioned that he would check my nodes in my neck as well. If it does turn out to be lymphoma of the skin in future, does this mean it is t cell? I'm just worried right now about 2 issues. 1) when he says lymphoma is he just talking about the skin?

Avatar f tn Hello~I am so sorry you are going through this. 13 years is a long time. Has your doctor done any blood work? Have you seen an allergist or dermatologist, you probably need a more specialized physician than just a GP.
