A Dermatologist diagnosed the rash as fungus and prescribed a cream. However, the itchy keeps appearing at different parts of their body.

I've been having this rash on my shins, really itchy, on each shin same location. I've had the itchiness for about 6 months now. Recently, the rash got worse until it looks like the skin broke. At first I thought it was shingles, but the rash has no fluid-filled blisters, and no independent dots are noticeable. It is just red and itchy. I've been putting anti-itch cream, taking showers with oatmeal bath, and keep the water at high levels of heat. Unfortunately, the rash has expanded. now it has gone up my back and on the core of my stomach. Also for some reason, I have an itchy rash on my hands and thighs.
I'm going through the same exact thing right now too! It's sooo itchy! all I get is red skin but no bumps or rash at all. And like you, a cold rag feels amazing and pretty much takes it away. Did you ever find anything to help?
A month ago, I got these little red dots on my back and stomach. they're really itchy. suddenly, they've transferred into my arms and legs. after sometime they're gone, my skin became "chicken skin". and now when I feel itchy and scratched my legs, red itchy bumps will appear. They're like mosquito bites. But when I stop scratching, they will be gone after few minutes. What could these be?
thanks for the reply and concern. it happened so that my husband brought a car sun shade which was coated with some powder. our son was playing with it when he developed itchy rashes all over the body. from then on he's been getting these rashes which are non-itchy but appear mostly on the face and disappear after a while. he was treated with anti-histamine but with no success.
